It is two rooms with mainly furniture and some decorative items. The furniture is cute vintage, with a French vibe, some painted in the Annie Sloan chalk paint, and others left with regular wood. Pieces include bureaus to vanities to tables to china cabinets and prices reflect the amount of time spent on each item. Total would've been over $3300... The good... I told/asked him to split the difference and call it 15. Settled on 16 hours. I felt better but still ended up being $2625... The great... the craftsmanship... The table came out great. Looks beautiful. The kicker was he told me he's been doing this for 50 years and he's 73 and this is his living... My response was if you're at this 50 years you should be able to have a more accurate estimate. The word approximately means close to but not exact... Does NOT mean double and hose the customer.
