This is a terrific grocery store. I can't believe a store with such a wide selection is in this small little town where we stayed for a recent family trip. Everything we purchased was fresh and high-quality. One of the days of our trip happened to be my dad's 80th birthday. He had already selected a pie and put it in the cart when we came across Cheryl putting together these beautiful fruit tarts in the bakery behind the window. I commented about the giant tub of whipped cream and she smiled and told us about what she was making. Dad put the pie back where he found it, and we purchased the tart Cheryl was making. She was so engaging and helpful. The tart was as beautiful as it was delicious! I was working from a shopping list my sister gave me, and when I got to the register, I realized I didn't have brioche bread. I high-tailed it back to the bakery, and Sara helped me. They only had brioche rolls in the bakery, so Sara came out to the bread aisle to help me. She found brioche bread. Seriously, rock-star level service. Even the cashiers were friendly and helpful. We would definitely shop here again. They're part of the Kroger family of brands, so we got to earn points that work at our local Fred Meyer. read more

Never refer me to go use your Coinstar machine when I'm trying to get gas for my car. I'll go somewhere else before I use coinstar and pay a percentage that could be going into my gas tank. That's money that you guys just lost out on. It's not the gas attendants fault it's the corporation. Safeway will gladly take my change without complaining, they always comment about how there's a coin shortage, and people like me are making sure the coins make it back into circulation :-) read more

Walked in for milk and bread run on 4/3/21 @ 8:15PM. ALL registers except SELF SERVICE were closed. RED VEST standing up front claimed manager was at lunch and is only person that can do check-outs...self service only but would help me SELF-CHECKOUT. Really? Why not you? "I have to watch the store", which seems tough to do if your watching me self checkout. RED VEST then called for the manager on the intercom who 3-4-5 minutes later never showed up, called the front or even acknowledged the page... ZIP-Nada-Nothing. QFC has once again proven not only are their prices higher than any other store, but their CUSTOMER NO SERVICE is second to none! I finally told the Red Vest enough and we parted with his "Have a nice day." I went to Safeway (1 minute drive from QFC) and continue to do so, without having to self checkout. Almost any glitch can be forgiven, but POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS FOREVER. read more

Worked here for almost a decade. Seems like a nice place from the customer's perspective. Me and several other associates were abused by Carl in his back office daily. We all called the union multiple times, and they never helped. We reached out to labor industries and several organizations with no help in sight. Dozens of us just left. Great journey people. I went here on Thanksgiving day and of course it was super slow. I really went in to find a bathroom and there wasn't much else open. I thought the bathroom would be in the back and of course the one time your bladder is about to explode, you walk in the completely wrong direction. Needless to say I found what looked to be a cart pusher and she kindly directed me to the bathroom. Ahhhhhhh yesssss! Anyway after my bathroom break, I got a nice veggie sandwich and a few olives from the fresh olive bar and a Nantucket Nectar and bounced. The store is well stocked and it looked to be that way even on a slow holiday. BelAir seems like a small town anyway. I had a friendly cashier. He seemed excited that he was getting off at 6. As i was leaving I saw a walk up pharmacy window. Who has a walk up pharmacy window??! I'd be afraid someone would just walk up and try to rob my a** for meth supplies. read more

It's nice every once in awhile to switch up your Grocery Stores now and then from Safeway & Albertson's. Since the Bremerton QFC closed, this one is out of the way but when I'm passing through, it's a welcome stop !! Well Kept inside, Great Produce section and nice general store lay-out. The Coolest thing I like stopping for is the Doughnuts. I'm a Big Fan of their Top Pot doughnuts delivered fresh daily from Seattle !!! Go Hawks ! They from Time to Time have cool little knick-knacks or Seahawks Shirts/Gear. Friendly Service, Restroom at the Front of the store for those emergency pit stops ! This location is alright. Kind people and staff. I just wish they had a self check out or bigger checkout. This is the only grocery store I know that does not have a conveyor belt system. If they would have this lines wouldn't stack as long and it will be more efficient. Management is interesting to say the least but not an annoyance. Coming from a worker this is definitely the worst job I have ever experienced. Management is awful and has very poor communication with workers. The bathrooms are horrid and I have often found drug addicts/tweakers hiding under the sink in the women's bathroom. What the hell QFC?? Maybe instead of overworking your staff and overpricing your products, you can look at your vile bathrooms. If you are considering working here, DON'T DO IT!!!!!!!! Also they force you to pay union dues that have zero benefit towards you and will literally harass and threaten to fire you if you do not pay them. The bakery is absolutely vile. There are ants that they have failed to exterminate and they do not mop or clean the floors every night. There are barely any mops in the store for employees to clean with. You would think that cleanliness would be a top priority. Nope! Instead, managers do not care and only care that you come in for hours and hours on end. This place is so toxic. I need therapy after working this hellhole of a job. It is overpriced and the products are not that fresh. Go to target or Trader Joes or some grocery store in silverdale. I have more trust in those places than this nightmare. read more

Who knew that in the middle of the Kitsap Peninsula and the tiny town of Belfair that there would be a QFC that is better than most of the ones in Seattle? Selection was fantastic, produce, meat, wine and beer variety was incredible. Very clean store and brightly lit, employees were friendly and very helpful as well. It is also the closest grocery store to Mason Lake, so a definite stock up place to go before a weekend at the lake. read more

I stopped using the Safeway after about my 10th bad yogurt over the course of like 3 months. I may have eaten some nasty yogurts, who knows. I've always been a Safeway customer, but until I moved here. I mean, 10 separate occasions, sorta randomly. I mean, who's gonna drive down the road, waste a few dollars in gas to show them a bad $1.00 yogurt. It's pointless. Stick to QFC. read more

As Belfair residents, we prefer to shop at QFC for a few reasons. The service is good, employees usually are friendly. Their organic/health food/obscure food selection completely outranks Safeway's selection of the same items. They are the only place in town that offers sushi, and their sushi is pretty great. (If you are skeptical of how long it's been sitting out, you can always ask the sushi chef to make you a custom roll right in front of you). Oh, and as the household grocery shopper, I love how often they have markdown items. Yes, their prices are generally higher than Safeway. But their quality really is best. The produce section has had some times where the fruit was definitely past its prime. However, the produce employee that I always see there is so very helpful and friendly. He will cut something down to size for you (need a half head of cabbage for a recipe, and do not want to purchase a full one?) or look in the back for something fresher or if your desired item is out of stock. I make holiday cookies every year and QFC was the only store that sold lemon filling for my lemon bars. Safeway did not have them. QFC recently started shelving an affordable and organic brand of bread (Eureka or something?) Cheaper than Dave's Killer Bread. I love the stuff, and Safeway does not carry this. We ate Paleo for several months, and I had to do my shopping at QFC as Safeway carries only the more 'common' food items of a typical American diet. QFC, highly recommend. read more

I can't believe when one reviewer said prices are higher than Safeway - except for sale items that are occasionally less, Safeway (and Albertson's) has much higher prices and being on Social Security, I know! Their meat/seafood department is outstanding - I just called and spoke to Crystal and ordered a very large Dungeness crab - she took the time to find a large one and promptly called me back, offering to have it cleaned and ready for me. I always get great customer service here at QFC (half of the meat/seafood employees at Safeway are very nice, but several are surly and not at all helpful, even rude) read more

Kaiser Permanente and Molina are the only private health care providers in Mason County. Why is QFC pharmacy not honoring prescriptions from Kaiser Permanente? What a disservice to your loyal customers. I am disappointed again. I was told by pharmacy staff that I had to drive to Kitsap County to get my prescriptions filled and that QFC does not have a contract with Kaiser. That's crazy! I have been a loyal customer since you opened, never shopping at Safeway. We spend almost a thousand dollars a month at your grocery. I am so disappointed and angry. read more

Store hour is not adhered to what is posted online. 5am to 1am. It is 1130 pm and store is not accessible. No business hour is posted on either entrances. Only pharmacy hour is available. I guess pharmacy is their main $$ maker. I don't shop at QFC but I came by after hearing a commercial over the radio. This is my grocery store. a midday car break in at Safeway stopped me from taking my business there so much. the bathrooms are clean and tended to at QFC. is it possible for a store to be over staffed? there is always ample help. it's always clean. if a little jam happens at the cash register it s dissapated before your very eyes by helpful people with clean clothes/uniforms and smiles. yes, let the illusion take me away in my life of child mayhem. Ridiculously high priced. Fruit usually doesn't ripen well, and are very expensive. Half the time when I grab a piece of fruit it is very cold because it was in the freezer or fridge. Most products are overpriced and they bring the price down right before they are about to expire. So I buy a lot of nearly expired foods there. Meats, oh my god!!! Meat is another subject. I saw a $22 T-bone steak!! I could order one cooked with a baked potato and vegetables for that ridiculous price. I'm retired Navy and usually shop at the commissary which is less than half of what Kroger sells for. Meats are a third or even a qtr of what Kroger sells. I feel bad for those who can't shop at the commissary and have to pay 2 to 3 times more here. The military commissaries don't price products below the actual price, they sell for a reasonable price to keep everyone paid and the store operating properly. QFC and the Safeway nearby are working together to keep prices high. QFC follows the gas price of the Safeway. It's a joke. read more

We have been going to QFC since we moved here in 2009 and was excited and happy with the friendly staff, clean store and outstanding variety of products. That was 2009 and over the past year the store has disappointed us by rude staff (especially pharmacy), cluttered aisles and poorly stocked shelves. I am a retired veteran and it will take more than a couple of nice parking signs to keep my business, Have started going to Safeway and Rite Aide. Not sure why the downward trend but it is disappointing. read more

I really like this QFC and don't do my regular grocery shopping anywhere else. The staff is friendly, the store has nice lighting. I go there at least once a week. That being said, I ordered a cake for a special birthday. The first cake decorating was terrible, I burst into tears- it's just cake you might say- but it's was for a milestone birthday and you know how moms document those firsts! The second cake they 'fixed' was not the same as my original order, which wasn't really 'fixing the cake'- different filling and frosting. One of the managers took care of us, but that doesn't fix the pictures or my husband missing the first half hour of the party getting a new cake. I would have kept the first one, but the balloons looked like literal logs of poop and trying to scrape it off just tuned into a smeared mess, on top of that it wasn't even what I had ordered. I bet the theme cakes would turn out much cuter without having to free hand style it. And the cakes do taste amazing when you get what you are expecting. As a fan of QFC I will continue to shop there. I will buy bakery cake because it's delicious, but I will NEVER ask for a free style or go off what is online like I did. I will look the book and pick one. I would recommend you do the same, unless you know a specific employee is good and ask for them by name. read more
