I would avoid this location unless you want to wait in line for 20 minutes. Every. Single. Time. Even the self checkout line.

My 2nd prefered store for grocery shopping because primary store is still overall always cheaper. Great staff and short lines usually.

Shop here more than anywhere else. Best selection, good prices, and the people working here are great. Always friendly and helpful.

As a consumer with disabilities, I cannot tell you enough what a wonderful experience it is to shop…read moreat a store that is so accommodating. They've allowedmy caregiver to do my shopping for me without the drama we've had to deal with at other stores, and that is awesome enough. I wish more places were like this! Additionally, I travel with a service dog and the staff here is knowledgeable about the ADA guidelines. If you also travel with a trained medical dog, then you know how rare this is. They always support me with my tasks, are quick to stop other customers who would interfere with my dog and I, and have asked people who misrepresent untrained animals as service dogs to leave when their animals were aggressing my trained working dog. Many public employees will not do this; the fear of litigation and uncertainty about the law make many hesitant to stand up for valid service teams. Their assistant manager, who I believe is called Alan, is AWESOME.

Ugh, what a horrible experience. I have not shopped here in awhile, but I was running errands…read moreclose by so thought I would stop in for some things. They have definitely spent a lot of money making the place look nicer, but I had the most unpleasant experience. Almost everyone who worked there was incredibly rude. They did not have even one single cashier lane open, only self check-out. I am disabled with a brain injury and I really struggle with navigating that process. I asked an employee about a cashier, and she was so rude and told me to self check-out. When I explained it was difficult, she told me I could ask her fellow employee who was finishing up helping an elderly gentleman at the self check-out register. This guy was so rude telling me flatly to use the self check-out and waved me away. When I explained it was too difficult for me, he flatly told me I could stand around and wait 10 minutes for a cashier lane to open (apparently they were on break at 9am) while he stood around and did nothing. I was considering just leaving my full cart there and leaving, but the woman at the customer service desk who had overheard all of this was nice enough to come over and open a cashier lane to assist. Then to top it off... the cart scenario. Their parking lot is always full, narrow and hard to navigate so I always park on the side street. I was pushing my cart to my car to unload and as I was just about to go on the sidewalk outside of their parking lot (where I was parked), the cart locked up on me. It would not move. They must have some automated lock system that doesn't allow you to take the cart out of a certain area. So I was left with trying to carry 2 full bags and 2 boxes of canned bubble water by myself. I had to just leave some of it on the side walk and come back for it hoping no one would take my $200 worth of groceries I just bought while it was unattended on the sidewalk so I could make multiple trips. What a nightmare.

I had to come back here because the prices are cheaper than most stores in the area and everything…read moreis so expensive now. I can only afford certain items, if I come here. Yogurt is 6$ at other stores and only $3 at Winco For the same brand. A warning for women who go shopping alone. I was almost attacked by a man in the parking lot and had to call the police. He blocked me into my parking spot and got out of his vehicle screaming at me. Just warning people get crazy here, maybe Lacey in General. So I usually take my husband now, and do not go alone. The service is better now, and I have not seen the cashier who was rude before. The customer service people are so nice, quick and helpful. And the cashiers are generally friendly and pretty fast. Glad I gave this place another chance.

Look. You need to grade Winco on what I call "the Winco curve."…read more The store is clean and fairly well organized. They have several items you can't find anywhere else in the area. The prices are great, much lower than Freddy's or Safeway. They have a great bulk section, the only bulk section I've found in the area. Spices, candy, pasta, flours, and more can be found in their bulk section. They don't take credit cards and you have to bag your own groceries, so keep that in mind. This is considered the "poor" grocery store. But I'm not poor, and I like to shop here. Yes, you might end up behind someone in line with two carts full of groceries, and paying with a combination of cash, check, and EBT, but the savings are awesome and the checkout process is relatively quick regardless. I love Winco and if you don't you might be a snob. Bonus fact: "Winco" is an acronym for "Washington, Idaho, Northern California, Oregon." Bonus-bonus fact: last time I checked, their sister store is Metropolitan Market, a North Sound area "fancy" store.
