Squaxin Island Tribe's gas station / convenience store / smoke shop, located adjacent to the Little Creek Casino. Prices here are a bit cheaper than what you'd pay at comperable non-indian store, but not worth going out of your way for (unless you were stocking up on cartons of smokes, I guess). I like the huge totem pole outside.

This is such a great little gem out here in the boonies between Belfair and Shelton. This is a nice…read morelittle store run by a very nice family and people who are always friendly with a good attitude when I stop by. I drop by on a nearly daily basis. It's always a positive experience. The main reason I'm writing this review is to rave about their pizza! They have such bad ass pizza there which is shocking in the middle of nowhere. It took me about two years before I realized they even sold full pies and there's a whole pizza operation being run out of the adjoining building. It is so great to have a place selling awesome pizza just a few minutes away saving me a lengthy round trip up to Shelton or Belfair. Their pizza is a little different but so good. They put a cow's worth of cheese on it and their pepperoni and sausage pizza is terrific. It has become a bit of an addiction for me to drop by and grab a slice whenever I pass by. I highly recommend this place. Their pizzas are terrific for a nice dinner without having to drive all the way into civilization. And it's just a great business run by great people out here.

We once went out of our way to come here over the store next door to our home. The lady who owns…read morethe store is rude- and this past week during a record breaking heatwave and shortage on ice, the owners hike up a bag of ice to $3.50! If you're going to price gouge people in need we'll get our gasoline down the road and drive further to one of the local farms and get our ice there, such as Harstine Acres. Be fair not greedy. Hired employee's are always kind, they should work where they'll be treated better. I've heard the lady owner be rude to them when an employee asked to turn on the Seahawks game for the customers who kept wanting to do a score check! Done with this store! Go down the road a couple miles there are friendlier options, the propane and gas are also cheaper.

A small convenience store at the corner of 4th and Adams. I've never been sure whether the place…read moreis called "Adams Market" because it's at the intersection with Adams, is called "Adam's Market" after someone named Adam, or is called "Adam Market" as it's sometimes rendered in other online results. The great thing about this place is the owner, who is jolly and sarcastic and funny, although his wit does tend to run a little absurd and not a little dry. Almost as great, though, is the selection of Middle Eastern foods. It's a great place to stock up on boxes of mahmouls for cheap, or to get tins of stuffed grape leaves, which are a vastly better snack than the paltry selection of heavily-processed junk food. Fresh, but limited, but huge, baklavah. The real wonder, though, is a small row of sodas in the back. Not the fancy burdock-and-ass English stuff, but the selection of Lebanese fruit sodas by Kazouza, the best of which is the watermelon. None of them are HFCS-loaded crap, but the watermelon nonetheless captures the fanciful watermelon flavor of something like a Jolly Rancher without being too cloying (at least, for the first few bottles.) It's so wonderful. Like, it completely changed my view of carbonated beverages. It's also a reliable place to get ayran, which is good when the Kazouza gets too sickly-sweet. Also, the brand of ayran they stock is also very useful as a yogurt culture, and at least with the milk from my goats that I tried it with, it resulted in some absurdly-thick and wonderful stuff. Some of the staff other than the owner can be a bit grumpy or difficult, and some of them are quite sweet and outgoing. Still, it's hard to fault the gruff ones. It's the most centrally-located and only late-night convenience store in downtown Olympia. It's a great place to rub shoulders with people who are drunk at noon and people who are far gone in the middle of the night. It really functions as Olympia's only Middle Eastern market. International Spice and Halal used to carry much of the same stuff, and since it closed and its owner moved on to other things, this is the best place to go. And it does a good job of that, while also doing a good job of being a convenience store. A very cool place. Near and dear to my heart.

Welcome to a tourist town with one major grocery store. I lived in Ocean Shores for over 2 years. I…read morejoined the membership rewards and never really received any perks. I spent roughly $300 a week on groceries conservatively speaking. The pricing of the products are higher in the Summer and tourist season. This sucks for the locals but it is common with all businesses in Ocean Shores. I recommend shopping at Costco for your staples before going on vacation in Ocean Shores. It's not uncommon to pay almost $10 for a bag of chips. Just a warning. The service is a hit or miss depending on the time of day and season. The staff can get tired of tourists and not be as friendly. The selection is limited due to the remote location of Ocean Shores. This means if you are looking for special ethnic foods and vegetables, you maybe out of luck. Bring these items from home. I am SE Asian and the selection was lacking as far as fresh herbs and greens go. I was missing many sauces over the years for stir fry like sesame seed oil, hunan, and chili oil. I drove to Olympia for Jasmine rice purchased 100lbs at a time. The deli is pricey but there is only one McDonalds in town and no other fast food options. Most the restauarants are $20 or more per entree. Hence the deli fried chicken and warn foods will look less expensive. The JoJos friend chicken is popular along with the potatoes wedges.
