I really like being able to walk over and pick up some fresh fruit, eggs, or whatever. Super convenient and surprisingly varied.

I understand that it's a farm and I guess they want to pick it for you, but other places let you pick it yourself. They have a sign up saying "u-cut bouquet" but when we got to the front of the line, the lady said not today. When we said that maybe she should take that sign down then, she just shrugged. We stayed for 5 mins and left. No wonder parking was easy to find- because people were leaving as soon as they showed up in disappointment. What a complete waste of time. If you want to pick flowers, drive a mile away to Lynch Creek Farm and pick a gorgeous bouquet of dahlias which cost $8/dozen.

The road out of Olympia winds along the bay and then through the forest dotted countryside. When we passed the Dahlia farm on the way. We knew we had hit the "daily double"...lol! The lavender farm is so peaceful and the friendly staff charming. Tables were nicely laid with a good assortment of lavender products. The drink table was stocked with an assortment of choices. We both tried the lavender soda and purchased several of their enchanting in house prouducts. I snapped a few photos, that I have shared in my post. We enjoyed the bees buzzing around the hives set a little way from the field. The long rows of sweet-smelling lavender were conveniently dotted with large purple chairs and benches. We can't wait to visit again!

The store also has some flower bouquets, plants, whimsical garden decor, and seedings for sale. The produce can be viewed and purchased in the next building in the parking lot. There is a minimum purchase of $10 to use your card. Easy to do with several varieties of heirloom fruits and veggies. I saw a red Barlett pear which I have e never eaten before. It was very tart compared to the green pear. Would I go back? Yes. I like the produce quality and variety.

This is a year-round Farmer's Market. While the produce selection is not large, there are some unique items that I certainly did not expect to find. One is Satsumaimo  (Japanese Sweet Potato). Grown primarily in Kyushu, Japan, fans of this variety search far and wide trying to locate a source. It is the (sweet potato) "pot of gold" at the end of the rainbow! There are also many items to check-out from local artists & crafters.
