I have been a patient of the Walmart Vision Center in Shelton for many years and so has many of my family and friends. The staff is amazing. They always go out of their way to help me pick a pair of glasses that I love. Destiny has helped me almost every time I go in and we always have a good visit when I do. She's kind and helpful and always gets me nice glasses that I can afford. Eleanor is very helpful too. I never feel rushed and I never feel they are only there for money, they treat patients like family. Dr La is an good Dr who takes time explaining my eye issues (I have a few) I give this place 5 stars for many reasons. read more

The phone service representative, chunky lady with red hair and facial piercings is a terrible employee, and a terrible human. Lied to my grandmother about her phone being broken, told her she had to buy a new phone, didn't give her any options for discount or trade in, and sold her a 750ish dollar phone. My grandma fixed the "broken" phone herself (it was stuck on zoom in mode) and tried to return the new phone. The lady refused to do it, stated it couldn't be returned there, and yelled at her until she cried and left. I had to get involved, I asked for help while she was playing with her phone, she rolled her eyes and sighed, I told her we wanted to return the phone and she rolled her eyes and sighed again. Made a lot of snide comments and had a terrible attitude and tone. She took it back, while lying to the person on the phone she had to talk to to do the return process of why the phone was being returned. Afterwards she told us she wasn't going to reactivate the old phone, and since we made her return the phone she's going to deactivate my grandmother's account. We immediately went to verizon and had them reactivate the old phone for us since she refused. We left verizon with the phone working and I thought we were done with the ordeal. The next day i tried to call my grandma and sure enough the lady was true to her word, and the phone line was disconnected. I Called verizon and they told me that it was disconnected today due to "customer request" even though that's not something we would have requested. I think she said her name was kaitlyn or katrina or something with a K. She's vindictive and awful for putting my grandma through that. I will tell everyone I know not to buy phones or anything else from walmart while that person is in the store. I am livid at the treatment that was received. read more

I really dislike my experience whenever I shop here, either onsite or online. I've had many wasted trips to purchase something that was supposedly in stock and showed online only to get there and find it was out of stock. The online delivery option is a joke. The item shows as deliverable, then when ready to make the purchase the status changes to undeliverable. EVERY time I've purchase a delivery item, it runs late. I will avoid shopping here at all costs. read more

Yesterday 09/16/2021 I headed to the Shelton Walmart to pick up an ATT Pre-Paid phone for my Grandson. His dad sent the make and model to get. After looking around Patrick came up and asked if I needed help. I said yes and we went to get the phone. The one we wanted was out of stock, so I went with the 2nd choice. Patrick was fun, knowledgeable, he had a huge smile and we chatted while he completed the transaction. I want to say it was the best experience I have ever had at Walmart except for the vision center which is a vendor and not part of Walmart. I have had good experience in this electronics department before. It is so refreshing to have someone help you that has such positive energy. The gal at the register with him..didn't catch her name was also very pleasant. At this time I would like to ask people to be kind to retail employees. I worked in retail for 9 years...before the Karen Era. Now especially at Walmart employees are subject to disrespect and at times attacked by entitled people. Practice K.I.S.S. Went into Walmart to shop this morning and there was absolutely no cheese, no lunch meat no bacon, no sausage. The shelves were completely empty. The Shelton Walmart just keeps getting worse. Their produce is disgusting. Anyway, I'm going to start shopping at Fred Meyer. read more

I have been to this Walmart several times over the years, while visiting family in town. I have always found what I am looking for, but it is usually the basics and nothing too crazy. This past trip I wanted to purchase an extension to my out of State fishing license and the clerk who worked that section was very efficient and got it done within moments. If I have any complaint it would be the front end cashiers are very slow with no personalities. It had been a beautiful week, so you can't blame dreary rainy weeks on end to get into that funk. People watching can take on a life of its own at this Walmart, especially after 10pm HAHAHA. Oh well, what can you do? This place is A-OK in my books. read more

Placed an online order for pick-up from this location just this past week and an hour later my order was canceled with the claim of it supposedly being out of stock. Walked into the physical location an hour later to find not one, but an entire shelf of the item there. Apparently someone just didn't want to do their job. But hey, if you want employees to harass you about showing ID when you're 1) 40 years old and 2) not making any purchases, this is the place to go. This pharmacy is GARBAGE. A script was sent to them around 3:30 pm. I went by at about 5:15 to pick it up and they hadn't even started processing it. Then they told me to come back in a half an hour. So I went back home. My grandmother received a text at about 6:15 stating her prescription was ready. So I went to the pharmacy again and they only had filled one of the two and told me it would be ready in ANOTHER 15 minutes. This was at 6:40. Talk about shit customer service. read more

I have had too many poor experiences at this location to ignore. I took my car in for new tires and my tire pressure sensors went missing (after being fully present for years). When they finally agreed to replace them after months of a run around with the issue (I was very patient) they provided aftermarket parts and then couldn't program them properly. Very dissatisfied to say the least and will not be using thier automotive services again. Additionally, while shopping for an above ground pool we were met yet again with poor customer service. It took forever to locate a person to help us with the oversized item. Once we finally found assistance and went to check out we discovered the pool wouldn't fit in our vehicle. We asked to leave it at the desk while we grabbed another vehicle from home. They refused and told us we would need to return the pool to the he shelf ourselves. We decided to purchase the pool and one of us stayed at the store while the other switched over vehicles. In that time the store closed. The kicked my husband outside as it was getting dark and quite cold... Needless to say we have been burned by this company too many times to want to return. If the employees act this poorly they must be treated poorly in turn. I won't be supportive of this business anytime soon as a result of my interactions. read more

Under stocked and understaffed all of the time, dirty, unknowledgeable employees that can't tell you where anything is and don't offer to help, cashiers are often rude & have you lift items in your cart so they can scan and are always complaining of not having a break and how terrible their mgmt is and doesn't listen. My experience with the mgmt there has been the same as well. They are rude and make excuses blaming each other. It's a terribly run store where no one seems to care. Although the only place in Shelton to find all your necessities in one place, I've opted to shop at Fred Meyers and Safeway and travel the distance or order online elsewhere. read more

I am 79 years old and handicapped , so use an electric scooter. At times I could use help reaching higher shelves, but, most "associates" pretty much ignore people and go about their business. Other customers usually ask if they can help me! There are very few very friendly checkers , so I try to get in one of their lines. This morning I was treated very rudely by an "associate." I got large item in garden department, no checker around, saw "associate" in next dept. so went and told her there was no checker...all she said was "There should be someone there all day" and walked away and continued stocking the shelf with shampoo or something. I rode the cart around garden dept. looking for a clerk, found one young lady putting plants out, she said she didn't work for Walmart. Went back to first clerk and asked her to please find someone to help me. This time she said "Well, just go up front" to which I said "But,I don't want to go up front. I want to purchase this large item back here and take it out to car before doing my grocery shopping." She just stood there with her mouth hanging open....I finally said " Well, screw it...I'll just put it back" which I did. read more

Walmart is what is expected. They honor price matching, good selection of food and produce. Sometimes takes a while restocking of items, (2-3 weeks). Staff could be more hospitable, especially in electronics department. The older latino greeter and older gentleman who works the site to store are wonderful! read more

this is for the vision center in the walmart store in aberdeen wa. i went there in march to get some new wire frame glasses. didnt know what to expect. i had gone to america best in lacy wa. and had a very very bad experience. will never go there again. anyway i met a lady named jenni, a lady named jaime, and christine. all were very very knowledgeable, and so so nice. all three helped me find a nice set of wire frames, no pressure, i took my time. i gave them my eye exam to put in the lenses. these folks treated me like family. they are my friends now. about 5 days later i picked up my glasses. jenni helped with the adjustment. she was so professional and quick. i felt very blessed t o have this center closde by, only minutes. she told me i had 60 days toi decide whether or not i wanted to keep them or exchange them for another pair of frames. i thought id give then a try. a few days past i came back in and told jenni they were sliding down my nose to much. she suggested some nose piece supports. i decided to try those and they were 95% better. i thought real hard if i really liked these frames or not, and decided id rather have gold metal frames, rather than black. i went back and christine was there and told her my issues. i looked at some gold wire frames and found a much better framee than what i had. i was there about 2 hrs. teresa had to leave and jenni was back and she helped me further. jenni put some nose suppports on the gold frame and made some ear adjustments and these frames fit much better than the black ones. jenni was so helpful and very pleastant about the who procedure. she sent the gold frames off to have the prescriptions put in them, ill get my gold wire frame glasses in about a week. the experience i had here was far better than what i eexpected. these people, jenni, jayme, christine were very very patient and professional and now are my friends. i would give this vision center a 100 star rating if i could. in the future, ill come here, its only minutes from where i live. im getting 2 pairs of glasses here. i wont go to america best again. ty, walmart vision center for a very very good visit. you guys are my friends now. pdeace and love always tommy k read more

We waited at the jewelry counter, wanting to buy a Timex watch from the locked cabinet. No staff in sight in the middle of the day. My wife went to Customer Service and asked them to send someone over to the jewelry section; they said they would, but nobody showed up. We left after another five minutes, and are ordering the same watch from Amazon at about $5 cheaper and no hassles. Yep, it's a Walmart. The best place on earth to get all of your cheap made in China junk that we can't get enough of. This Walmart has your typical offerings but the produce section and DVD selection sucks. If you need laundry soap, Top Ramen, and other stuff for daily household use, chances are they'll have something to fit your needs. Some employees are great, some wander around like the walking dead. In typical Walmart fashion, the check out lines are too long. The clothing selection and outdoor section is smaller than most Supercenters I'm accustomed to. I prefer heading across the street to Freddy's for produce buy hey, still glad there is a Walmart nearby that stays open late. This is your best bet for holiday and seasonal merchandise. Throw on some dirty sweat pants, spandex, too small t-shirt, and flip flops to fit in. I made the mistake of wearing a polo shirt and some people looked at me like I was growing a purple hand out of my forehead. A friend mentioned that their tire prices are the best in the area. Over the years my distaste for this Walmart has grown. It's never been very customer friendly, and that has only continued to get worse with each year. Covid put me over the top though. Walmart makes everyone jump through all these hoops. They shut down all but one door, because making everyone funnel through one space during a time of social distancing makes total sense right? We are required to wear a mask, which also makes no sense, because everything else cancels it out. It is the ONLY store that I have been in during covid that NEVER has anything to clean the grocery cart. This is something I've always done before shopping, because ... gross. I've asked the last 3 times why they don't having anything and the answer is "we are out". There are stores who have spray bottles and paper towel to wipe down carts, but this giant corporation can't figure out how to sanitize a cart???? I could care less about what door people go in, or even if they are wearing a mask, but I want a clean cart. I'm over this store. read more

Plenty of displays and boxes.... but when I brought everything up to the counter and wanted to check out I was told that the phone wasn't even in stock!
