Part of the reason I go there is because my daughter is a pharmacy tech at a different Walgreen's. I myself have worked in a pharmacy, and a doctor's office, so am not unfamiliar with both sides of what happens at both. The past few times I have gotten prescriptions at the store, I have regretted it, but anything that is not long term, I do not use mail order. First I have to say that there are several nice people in this store, and the pharmacists are very pleasant. However, after several visits with another tech, I will be using a different local pharmacy. Rude, condescending, talks to you like you are stupid, and extremely unhelpful. My husband had the same experience. While in the drive up line she talked so loud I could hear her with the person in front of me, then on the phone when I got to the window, and they received the same treatment. None of the parties involved were rude, nor deserving of the uncalled for treatment received. No doubt they will not miss my measly business, but there are numerous other choices in town, and I am sure they will welcome new business. Sad, to leave when others are nice, but have had enough.

Sometimes both as is the case for their "manager" Rebecca. I've made a few pick-up orders here that have all gotten marked as picked up when they were not picked up. It feels scammy at worst and at best is a complete waste of time. Once it's marked picked up, there's no longer a link to use to mark you're at the store waiting. This then causes you to have to sit on the phone in the awful queue system until you can reach a person. It then takes them time to find it and get it out to you. It has never taken less than 15 minutes of me waiting in the parking lot for what should be a simple and quick pick-up. It's incredibly frustrating when you're sick/have sick kids waiting for items. The Pharmacy is quite possibly even worse. Numerous times my Rx was marked as ready to pick up online and yet when I get there they tell me it's not ready and treat me like I'm the jerk for asking why my app is showing it is. That's if they can even fulfill the monthly re-occurring Rx's! It's gotten so bad I've moved all my reoccurring Rx refills to another location 30 minutes away - because that's more convenient and easier than the one near my home. Shame on Walgreens, shame on the management.

The Port Orchard Rite Aid cost me $700 today. One of my prescriptions was up for refill last week…read more(2024, under my old insurance). They didn't notice they were out until it needed refill, so they had to order it. A full week later, I'm finally able to pick it up, but now it is under my new insurance. The difference in cost is $700. Since I have no choice but to take this drug to avoid strokes, I had to pay. If they'd been competent and filled it when it was due, I would have time to figure out an alternative under the new insurance. Not only is the pharmacy erratic and untrustworthy, half the shelves in the store are empty. One would they they were in a going out of business sale. I'm transferring all of my prescriptions.

The pharmacist is on the phone FOR her with her doctor's office trying to help, and the entire time she is yelling, cutting in line, and trash talking these poor employees (who are unbelievably nice). Anyway, watched this busy pharmacist stand up for his techs and basically shut this woman down. This woman was horrible and I'll be upset if this guy gets anything but praise from corporate. I'm not one to fight the crowds in order to shop inside the store. Usually buy my groceries online…read morefor delivery. Very strongly advise that you do not buy ANY produce online. 99.99% will turn rotten in two days or less. Once was delivered rotten lemons at delivery. Bought brussel sprouts a few days ago and already turned yellow/black. Also bought green pepper and was badly wrinkled and had to use same day or trash. However the pantry and dairy items are safe. Meat is either a hit or miss. Suggest buying name brand meats only. Sometimes bread comes in bags that are ripped or sliced open. Another risk at hit or miss. I've learned to shop at different stores for different items. Saves money but does take time off busy schedule.

When I asked the lady behind the counter about it, she said "oh I'm just trying to get out of here." Your deli should A, never be out unless unforeseen circumstances and B, there REALLY shouldn't be burnt dried out food at any hour in a store that charges such high prices compared against its competitors. Safeway makes yall look like a joke and they're only slightly more expensive than Winco.

I have been coming to the South Park Pharmacy for years. They have three pharmacists who work there…read moreand give personal service to patients. I like this pharmacy over Walmart or Walgreens because it is the way all hometown pharmacists used to be, they get to know who you are and give you good information on your meds as needed. They also are good at answering any questions you may have. I also like looking at the many gift items they offer for sale. And find it amusing the way they display their items. Because I swear someone very OCD is responsible for lining up the gift items in the whole store, very monk like in spacing items so they are exactly the same distances apart. And they are always dust free and moved around from day to day it seems. OK. If you need sugar free candy here is a place to get them. They carry a good assortment of sugar free chocolates and hard candies here, I like the Baskin Robbins sugar free candies myself. The store itself needs major updating. Some new carpets (currently the carpet looks worn, dirty and ugly 70's orange) and a new counter at the pharmacy (their counter is peeling apart) would help improve the places looks. But I come here for the service which is more personal than a Walmart or Walgreens drugstore.

Every time I go to this pharmacy since rite aid closed ,they never have enough help and I always wait in very long lines. I now transferred my script to Walgreens. They have been extremely helpful. There is now usually a line of seven people waiting to pick up their medications, some of whom are there are because they are sick. Others, like my husband (who has PD) cannot stand still that long. (There is always an empty register - perhaps hire more help with the windfall you're receiving from the new Rite-Aid customers.) The only reason I gave this review any stars at all is because, once you actually get assistance, the pharmacists are very caring and speak with you about any new medications you are receiving, especially if it is a replacement for one you are currently taking.
