This is by the worst Pharmacy I ever seen in my life. Your prescription is ready, but they never text you and let you know the customer people working in the Pharmacy are very rude., and when you go at 9 o'clock, they're supposed to be open. They do not open the door. They open at 9:10. read more

He also ACTUALLY called me back when he found a medicine that he didn't think they had. REALLY? I kept waiting on hold and after 16 minutes each time the line disconnected. Finally just drove there to talk to a person, got my meds and went home. Was given less than I was supposed to and no way to measure the liquid. read more

I travel a lot. Their stores are conveniently located. However the information on their app is often incorrect and confusing. I advise going direct the store to face to face. Otherwise the service is bad. read more

DO NOT COME FOR A PRESCRIPTION GO TO CVS INSTEAD !!!! i love walgreens prices for the products but there pharmacy absolutely sucks and there low staffed and everyone acts slow like its there first time on the job. A lady with curly hair and barely speaks english makes me so angry like even i could go back there and do what they do my self and i have no experience. i've been trying 2-3 months to get this prescription cream for my baby and yes its been 2-3 MONTHS !!!! i'm not even the one to write a review but i'm truly disappointed and angry and will be contacting HR about her. First time i came here for my sons prescription she is working at the drive thru window like every time i come here and i give her the slip and she tells me to come back in a hour to pick it up and that's what i do so i come back and then she tells me that there wasn't enough description on the note even though i told her exactly what my sons doctor told me and she still couldn't give it to me. when she didn't tell me that a hour before hand when i came and could of called his doctor to send over more info so of course it's now a hour later his doctors office is closed. 2 days ago from today i went to pick it up again after calling his doctor office and having a trouble reaching them for months and the pharmacist making me play telephone and before i go on the pharmacy acts like they can't pick up the phone and if they do they don't say anything and will put u on hold. so i go to pick up the prescription again after his doctor said it was ready and then they tell me my son doesn't have health insurance when i know he does because he's 11 months and we're going to make pay 70$ out of pocket. mind you this is all the curly headed women fault that speaks no damn english. so yesterday i went back and waited almost a hour at the window and even put my sons health insurance agent on the phone and this mf here wrote the wrong info down because they had trouble putting it in the system but the whole time she didn't even write it down correctly and made me wait a hour at the window and then made me come inside and wait another 30 mins. they told me to call back today before i came in to get it and they tell me they info isn't right or not working bc they told me last night that it could be because there system was down from the rain so im completely fed up and never going back here again like i've tried being nice to this lady for the sake of her poor english but clearly she doesnt know how to do her job and needs to be fired like this is so ridiculous they don't care about the customers they just want a big fat check. read more

this store is horrible. i give them my insurance card. the person at the front desk is putting in my new benefits and tells me my insurance card not valid. call my insurance company. it is too valid! did not even punch in the right numbers total incompetency, i hate this drugstore. i cannot wait to go back to express scripts for all of my medication's. plus my prescriptions were calling yesterday morning. one of my prescriptions still was not there. they said it was on order or i could go chase around to another store. i am not a courier service. i expect to go to one store and pick up my prescriptions not driving all over town and chase for them. read more

Called about the new Easter squishmallows and were told a couple days ago they would be out today. I called today to see if they were out yet and the lady was very rude and seemed annoyed about me asking. If you're going to work in customer service you shouldn't be rude to the customers, no matter if they have asked a lot. Very unprofessional. read more

I ordered a refill on a prescription that unfortunately due to my schedule, I did not pickup in time and it was put back in stock. I had totally run out of the medication and needed to take one right away. I called Walgreens on West Manatee and spoke with Brianna. She was so pleasant and did not make me feel bad for not picking it up in time. She was professional and was able to get my prescription filled in record time while I waited in the drive-thru. Both her and the pharmacist, Theresa were great! I truly appreciate the good customer service. Thank you ladies. read more

I keep returning to this stupid store and every time I ask myself why...the service is super slow and i often skip to the cosmetics department to get out of there in a decent amount of time. They can't turn their rewards card scanner around to face you so you have to give it to them...mine is clipped with a million other rewards cards to the outside of my purse. A pain to remove holding the line up even further. Go inside for your Pharmacy purchases because the drive thru takes forever. They like to rearrange the aisles a lot so you can't find anything...spend more time in the store. It is clean, though, and usually if you can find an employee on the floor they are helpful. Register people? Not so much. read more

My doctor called in Scripts to treat my Covid which I was diagnosed with yesterday. I called the pharmacist at Walgreens because I had gotten a weird computer message that there was a problem with my prescription and quite frankly I was a little scared not to get my medicine started this evening as this is a serious disease. I don't know the pharmacists name, but he was very nice, checked on it for me and said that although it showed there were none in stock they found one on the shelf of what I needed and were able to fill my order. Whew, what a relief. Also, the pharmacist kindly explained that I would have to use the Walgreens app to order other items that I need so I don't have to go into the store and expose anyone to Covid. I saw quite a few negative reviews for this Walgreens but I can say that I've never had a bad experience there. I used to live in town about 15 years ago and recently moved back. They were always very nice there and still are. read more

Very unfriendly to bicyclists. They refuse to serve bicyclists in the drive-up lane, claiming it's a safety issue. I have flashing strobe lights on my bike, and it's the safest place I am when riding my bike. It is no different than if I were on a motorcycle, in fact, it's probably safer since I don't turn off the strobe lights. This 'concern' is nothing but trying to protect themselves. Walgreens employees are typically very unfriendly, based on experiences in several stores. The ONLY advantage is that they have a drivethrough (which generally takes forever to use, no matter what mode of transportation you're using). But if that's not available for my choice of transportation, it's time to move my prescriptions elsewhere. read more

What to say about the pharmacy...Go anywhere else, but DO NOT come here. I have yet to get a prescription that costs what it is supposed to cost. I go to two other pharmacies while traveling, and both are the same price. I come here and am charged triple the price. Answer is always: "you'll have to contact your insurance company." Pharmacist THY. It's true what they say. It's hard to forget bad experiences. I dropped off a prescription for my wife's post c-section medication at 6pm. They told me it would be ready for pick up in 35 min. I had some things to do so I came back in two hours. When I got there the pharmacist, THY, said that they needed clarification on the directions from my wife's doctor. So I asked what the doctor said when they called. Surprise, THY never called the doctor. So THY, the pharmacist, rushes to call the doctor at 8pm and of course they didn't answer. I asked THY why she hadn't called earlier when she found out they needed more information and she began to argue with me. There was either a 1 or a 4 in the directions which stated take, 1 or 4, by mouth every four hours for three days. So because THY wasn't capable of using her years of schooling to figure that there's no way a doctor would tell a patient to take 4 pain pills every four hours, or could have called the doctor when she saw the issue, my wife is stuck writhing in pain until I get to a capable pharmacist. It's really ridiculous that THY would try and argue with me when she could have had this whole thing taken care of within the two hours I gave them to fill the prescription by making one phone call. This is really disappointing. THY should not be in a position dealing with customers and their much needed medications. She's not capable of admitting fault or even trying to understand where someone is coming from. Tiss tiss THY horrible taste left in my mouth. read more

What a joke the pharmacy is, don't depend on them to do there job on getting refills for prescriptions on time, and or contact you if your scripts expire.. morons said they tried time and time again, but they will not contact you if there is a problem so it can get fixed.
