This gas station is really cool! They have all sorts of food and snacks from veggie dips, bagels, hot soups, fresh salads and more. I have never gone to a gas station just to eat before, but this one I have. They have outdoor seating and It is common to see people eating outside as you drive by. They have music playing outside where the tables are as well. I have heard really great things about this company so I'm happy to go and support them. I have found some nongmo products along with GF choices for food.

I like Wawa gas stations and convenience stores. This Wawa, like the others, has a fresh made sandwich shop inside, lots of beverages, snacks, candy, smokes, and must more. They have plenty of parking in front and in the rear of the store. And outdoor seating so you can enjoy the FL sunshine and your snacks. They have a large assortment of quick grab n go pre-packaged snacks and foods for the traveler needing to cure a hunger urge. The place was very busy when I was there, but the lines moved quickly and the place was still clean and looked nice inside and outside both. They were hiring for up to $13hr for all 3 shifts for deli workers during my visit there in Feb 2018.

Elvin, in the deli last night, was very helpful, friendly, & customer service oriented! However, when I ordered 1 sandwich...my son's regular...Classic 10' Italian bread, Roast Beef and Pepper Jack Cheese with Extra Mayo & pickles pepper & oregano..with more pickles on the side... the woman that handled my order, (who did not look like she even cared to be there, yet shes getting paid) forgot my side of pickles (as most do), so I chatted with Elvin while I waited. I opened the sandwich and found, once home, it was shredded CHICKEN, not Roast Beef inside...he ate it, it was too late to go back on a school night, but read your orders more carefully...other than that great job as usual!

Love this place.

I love this place. Can't wait til January so I can get my coffee and donuts. This place has just about everything you want including hand made sandwiches. A must stop. Don't just drive by you can sit outside if you want.

Palm Avenue Express - Who knew a convenience store could be fabulous?! Welp, this one IS! I have stopped in from time to time for chilled wine and post cards.

Much has changed over the decades since the Mira Mar Hotel was constructed here, back in the 1920s. During the hotel's glory days, it was a fav vacay destination for an American president. But mid-century saw Palm Avenue's decline. Even then, howev, the Mira Mar was the living, breathing (or maybe, at that time, just wheezing) embodiment of shabby chic, long b4 the term existed. When I was a teen, in the 1970s, I was enchanted by the hotel's by-then-hushed terraces -- dappled as they were in sunshine and shadow -- and the open architecture of what, at that time, were low-rent apartments. During those years, welfare recipients lived at the Mira Mar Hotel. Today, all that remains of it is a portion of the old hotel's Palm Avenue-facing facade. Meanwhile, a condo tower, under development for more than a decade already, promises residences priced at around $2 million. But even if u aren't a millionaire, Palm Avenue Express is likely to have what u require, including, for a few examples, chilled beer and wine, postcards, Advil, and Lord only knows what u may find on the shelves there. For an example, my darling daughter has a mane of unruly hair, and I found a box of big hair pins for her at the Palm Avenue Express. And when I stopped in there today, I found a bar of lemon-scented bath soap. This store is owned by the same fellers who own the adjacent Salon Forty-One. And on the sidewalk outside, small tables -- shaded by elaborate landscaping and bright-red umbrellas, which also protect against summer-afternoon rainstorms -- invite patrons to sit a spell.
