I have been getting my prescriptions filled here for a little more than 6 months and they are pretty quick and easy to get ahold of. If my doc sends in a script, I have been able to get my meds refilled that same day most of the time. When I call, I do have to wait on hold for a minute or two but I barely notice because it isn't for very long at all. All the staff I've interacted with have been on the friendly side, and they pretty much always have my medication in stock. In my experience, they are actually willing to help, too, and don't treat patients like an inconvienience. I think there was a period of time where a lot of pharmacies were understaffed and I think the negative reviews of this Walgreens might be from that era- and therefore a little outdated. I got a text telling me my prescription was ready for pick up. Then following that got a text saying the store was closed. When it reopened my prescription was no longer there. 3 weeks later it is still out of stock. It's a daily med that is crucial for my health. When I called to say I was down to 1 dose and ask when they would have it the young girl who answered the phone had a terrible, unhelpful, "I don't care" attitude. She seemed rather gleeful that I had a problem and made no effort to help me at all. She didn't even look in the fridge to see if it was there. She told me to call around to other pharmacies. I lost my temper because of her cavalier attitude; this girl has no business dealing with the public. Everyone else I have dealt with at that store has been lovely. When I called another Walgreens the woman who answered took a moment to search the computer for me and found 2 stores that have the med. -What the first girl should have done. One star for the two employees (one at the counter and one who administered the shots) that helped me as they were both nice; however, the pharmacy is severely understaffed. The process from actual appointment time for two shots to the time I left was 45 minutes. There was a line the entire time I was there and a women who arrived after me seated herself in the chair where shots are administered to wait; this also meant she helped herself to cut in line for her shot. Unacceptable considering the amount of time every person had to wait. Poor staffing and organization. I will not return. read more

I had a very difficult series of issues with the photo department. I submitted my first order for an 11x14 print. I received a total of four emails saying my order was ready for pick up. I went in twice and the photo had not been printed. I learned to call before driving there again, which I did two additional times. (By the way, the entire photo area is chaotic and disorganized in appearance and function.) The one exceptional employee I talked with, Bob, was very polite, concerned and apologetic. He explained that some equipment was down. He called me to follow up. Unfortunately, we never got a successful print with that order. Then, they "lost" the order in the computer. I was told to resubmit it. I had difficulty accessing the site, however I resubmitted it after 6-7 attempts, for same day pickup. I waited three days and went in. They could not find it. Again. I went out to my car. They called me before I pulled out and said that they had found it. I went back in. The print was made in the wrong orientation. At this point, I gave up and requested a refund, which they gave me. Why on earth would I EVER consider submitting an order here again? They are an utter mess. Be forewarned. read more

The pharmacy is like a screwball comedy. While I was there waiting for my booster two parents were turned away after having made reservations for their kids online. Another customer didn't get their Rx that was put in 5 days ago. There were obvious issues between corporate, systems, and processes that are making it impossible for the staff to do their jobs well.The customers are getting irate. The staff frustrated. It took over a half hour for me to get my shot. Plus the store is getting rather long in the tooth. Filthy walls and floors, fogged up plexiglass, and just a grungy feeling. read more

Walgreens advertises over night printing...yet i've been waiting 3 days to give a gift I was supposed to give 3 days ago.

I needed the drug my doctor had prescribed. Walgreens did not have it in stock but said they could get it in three days. I waited four days and called and listened to a recorded message saying they still did not have it. I tried to speak to someone live, and spent more than ten minutes listening to musak, interrupted by someone repeatedly picking up the line and hanging it up before I could say anything. read more

Took 50 minutes to pick up a prescription that was ready because they couldn't figure out how to run an insurance card. They don't have any clue what they are doing. Finally called insurance to call them to explain how to do their job. On top of that they were giving attitude like it was our fault. This is the worst customer service I've ever experienced! I have Covid, couldn't walk in the store and I tried to reach the pharmacist by phone, was waiting for 44 minutes, and gave up. Then he called to arrange a pickup of my prescription. We agreed I'd be there at a certain time. But they weren't there. There was no confirmation email or text so I couldn't let them know I was there. A rude employee basically said it would be at least 20 minutes. I'm sick, and it's cold! So I left. Then another person called who kept interrupting me. These people don't give a damn about customers; they are lackadaisical, rude, and unprofessional. Stay away! read more

The pharmacy tech here named "Maria" had extremely bad hygiene and smelled bad like she hadn't showered in days and appeared as if she was wearing her pajamas to work? I had to ask her name because she wasn't wearing a name tag. Her hands were dirty with dirt under her fingernails and she wanted me to wear their mask and she hands me this mask with her filthy hands wanting me to put that on my face? So disgusting. Also argumentative and unprofessional saying my prescription wasn't there even though my dr called it in and I had proof. Unhelpful horrible pharmacy I will be going to another pharmacy instead for my prescriptions from now on. Totally unacceptable unprofessional behavior and ethic here. read more

This review is specific to the Pharmacy. The rest of the store and employees are great, pleasant and helpful. I have been using this store/pharmacy for many, many years, The last few years there has been an obvious change in the level of pharmacy service. Drugs not available, no follow through on contacting providers or insurance, open minimal hours and let's not forget the middle of the day closure for lunch. Sure, we can blame some of this on the Covid outbreak, but come on, seriously, every time I need something from the pharmacy it is a total pain in the ass. I tried to use the "Express Pay" to save wait time and the cashier told me to go to the back of the line. I refused (it was a separate window/line.) He started bad mouthing me to the customer he was working with right in front of me and everyone else in line! He finally called someone else to help me. If you don't want someone using a service, DON'T OFFER the service. Today was more of the same; I have an automatic refill due a week ago. Status Update keeps saying delayed; for insurance issues. As I am going out of town Tuesday I put on my big girl panties and went to the pharmacy. The cashier took my insurance cards and put in the info. This took a bit of waiting as he kept leaving the computer and doing other things. He finally comes back and says the insurance needs to be contacted and he would call them "later this afternoon." Now keep in mind I've been waiting a week already while they are supposedly doing this very thing. I said I would come back on Monday to get the prescription. He responded, "Oh no, ma'am, it takes at least 3 business days." Today was the tipping point for me. I transferred all my prescriptions to another pharmacy. Right after that the Walgreen's Pharmacist called me about the insurance. I told her I'd already requested all my prescriptions be transferred to another pharmacy. Pharmacist was rude. Scheduled an appointment for a covid booster and she accused me of not getting the first two, even though I was standing there with the first two written on my vaccine card. She continued to talk about me to the other pharmacist like I wasn't standing right there and had customer service skills of a whiny high schooler. I was turned away even though the other Walgreens where I received my first two was able to confirm that they gave me the vaccine. Overall frustrating experience that was handled poorly. read more

Store had a cramped feeling. I consulted the pharmacy staff to inquire as to if they were one of the pharmacies that offered AAA card holders discounts on prescriptions. After the staff member informed me that I needed a special AAA prescription card as they couldn't use my regular AAA for the discount (CVS totally just references the AA card) they proceeded to be vague as to if Walgreen's actually recognized this program. When asked point blank if there was a possibility that I could get a discount with the special AAA card the staffer indicated that they didn't know. Think I'm just going to suck it up and drive the 38 miles to the nearest CVS. read more

Some of the pharmacy employees are very nice but others are pretty rude and not helpful. My prescription keeps getting changed to different generic brands and although the active ingredients are the same, people can have side effects from changing brands. I suggested they have their employees discuss the prescription every time it is picked up (which they should always be doing anyway) because I had no idea they gave me a different brand and now I am unable to return the medicine to fill my prescription elsewhere. This Walgreens is pretty small but they always have what I'm looking for. Pharmacy staff is really nice and helpful. Look for Samantha in cosmetics. She is super helpful and knowledgeable about the whole store and I always check out with her when I can. Only problem is they aren't open 24 hours and sometimes that's s bother but over all great store. read more

I've lived in New England, the Mid-Atlantic States. West Coast and in several locations in the Boulder-Denver, Colorado area, but I have never found a better, more caring, or more responsive Pharmacy than the Walgreen's on 30th St. In Boulder! The rest of the store is well stocked with all of the Best-selling products you expect to find at a drugstore and help is easy to find when you need it. Its Walgreens! The workers are a little more friendly than the ones that I used to frequent in Indiana or Florida.

This Walgreens is like any other, stuffed from floor to ceiling with housewares sodas and chips, "as-seen-on-tv" items, makeup, toiletries, socks and t-shirts, cleaning supplies etc. The staff seems nice enough, tolerating the artificial light and towering shelves well. I usually go to get a deal on chips, soda and other snack food when I'm having a tv-nite get-together. read more

This Walgreens doesn't even deserve the one star that I gave it. It is outdated and kind of dirty. The staff is rude, but the pharmaceutical staff is ridiculously disrespectful to customers and unmannerly. Twice now I have tried to have (the same!) prescription filled at this pharmacy, and both times they told me that they were out of it and would have to order it. Now, this medication is very important, and it's something that I personally need to have on hand all the time due to severe asthma, and although I understand that they can't stock everything...this is a very common drug. My biggest problem with it however, was that I called to have the prescription filled (through the automated service) around 5 hours before I came to pick it up...To me it was very frustrating that I wasn't called to be told that they didn't have it (so I could go to a different pharmacy!) but instead the old woman (with poor, broken english) told me that it wasn't her problem, and that she'd order it so I'd have it tomorrow or the next day. This was at 5:50 on a Sunday (they close at 6:00), so I had no choice but to drive to Thornton to the 24 hour Walgreens (which is 30 minutes outside of Boulder). Don't waste your time with this Walgreens and their rude, incompetent pharmaceutical staff. read more
