If I could I would give them zero stars. This is the worst service I've ever experienced. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE; I repeat, DO NOT USE THIS STORE. I called in a prescription and my doctor called in another two this was almost a week ago for my doctors Rx order and I called my order in on Friday and was told it'd be ready by Monday or Tuesday at 11am. They are so bad at filling prescriptions and handling customers that I was unable to get anything because they hadn't actually filled the prescriptions and the line was too long to wait in. I work everyday during the week and can't stand in a two hour long line during my thirty minute lunch break. There is a major disconnect with what the customers are being told when calling in prescriptions and what is present at the actual store. This needs to be addressed and fixed. I understand there are staff shortages but have they ever considered that they have tried to cut cost by paying people less than they are worth and this capitalist approach is causing their stores to fall flat of performing their duties since they lack the staff that they won't pay for; make note that I said won't pay for because their lack of pay is the reason for the lack of staff. This is a major national corporation they have no excuses as to why they are simply unable to provide the service that is their main source of revenue. read more

Not sure what the problem is but this is most inept pharmacy I've ever used. Got so sick of the poor customer service I requested my Rxs be transferred to another pharmacy. Over a week later nothing has been done. They don't answer the phone and if you go in person all you get is bunch of bull s***. If I could rate Walgreens zero stars I would. We have had several issues with getting prescriptions filled in a timely manner, but this last occurrence is the last straw. I was scheduled to have surgery on a Thursday so my surgeon's office called in my postoperative meds the Monday prior. It is now Saturday, TWO days AFTER my surgery and Walgreens still has not filled my prescriptions. I have spent hours on hold trying to get through to a pharmacy representative. Today (Saturday) I finally found someone to drive me to the Walgreens on Franklin only to find out the pharmacy is closed on the weekends. I contacted the Walgreens on highway 20 to get my script transferred and was told my meds would be ready in 90 minutes. Three hours later and the script still has not been filled. This company has no right being in business if this is how they treat their customers. Shame shame shame! read more

Whatever is going on with this store corporate should be stepping in and helping at this level. They have closed their drive through pharmacy window... which is why most went there.. They have closed their photo department. Now they are closed on weekends and they close their store at 5:00 pm. How are people suppose to even do business with them??? I know i'm not going to anymore!! Everything is pointing to them closing period.. Upper management should be lending a hand at this level. This pharmacy is in woeful shape. And over the past 6 months it shows no signs of improvement. If anything, it has declined even further by limited store hours, closing the drive through and closing on weekends. The staff are doing what they can with what appears to be no support from Walgreens. Regardless of how/when your script is called in, there is simply no guarantee you'll have it filled unless you go to the store, wait in a long line and request it to be filled while you wait for an hour in the store. They should stop accepting prescriptions until they are staffed and organized enough to offer simply basic customer service. Or they should shut this place down until they can get themselves in order. There are many other options in town. Don't waste your time coming here. read more

Worst pharmacy service ever. Over 24 hours after my cardiologist called all my prescriptions in, I arrived to pick them up. After 10 minutes in a line of 4 customers, I was told that only one was ready, to have a seat in the waiting area & the others would be ready within 15 minutes. After a total of 50 minutes in the pharmacy, 2 of the 3 were ready. It's the first time in my life that I've ever complained to a manager. I really hope they can do something to seriously improve customer service. As of now, it is unacceptable. read more

Terrible!! I have a prescription that needs to be verbally called in, and I went without medication for days because my doctor could not get ahold of anyone. She kept being put on hold for 30 mins and then hung up on each time she tried. Will be moving all my prescriptions elsewhere! read more

Excessive refill delay for critical medicine. All without any good reason. I ordered a refill of high blood pressure medication on 6/9/21. After several days, I received an email saying there was an issue with the refill and I needed to call, so I did. The customer service rep, I spoke with, indicated that it was a clerical error and they were submitting the refill immediately. They said it would be ready in 15 minutes. I went to pick up the script about 30 minutes later only to be told it was just submitted and would take several hours to fill. Ok fine, sh!t happens. I left and waited for the refill confirmation text - nothing! 11 days later I get another email saying that Walgreens needs to contact my provider to complete the refill, even though it shows multiple valid refills for this medication online. I call the pharmacy and they have no idea what I'm talking about and then proceed put me on perpetual hold for more than 20 minutes. I filed a formal complaint with Walgreens corporate. This is not the first time this inept pharmacy has screwed up my refills. This has to be the worst pharmacy in Bend. I mean, 11 days delay on high blood pressure medication without any communication or valid reason? That is getting really close to law suite territory. I will be transferring to another company/pharmacy for my medication. Clearly Walgreens doesn't value my well being or health enough to refill critical medication in a timely fashion. Frustrated and annoyed don't even come close to describing my feelings about this utterly useless pharmacy! read more

So inefficient, they make you wait 30 min to tell you that your scrip isn't ready (despite their app informing you otherwise) and then another 30 min when you return. Always delays. I have waited in line for over 45 minutes on two separate occasions after being told that my prescription was ready for pick up. Once I managed to get to the pick up counter, I was told that it was not actually ready and that the false notification was due to a "computer glitch". My doctor sent in the prescription three and a half weeks ago and I still don't have it! read more

This review is specifically for the pharmacy. As a healthcare professional I am disappointed by the shameful service offered at this pharmacy. I watched a series of elderly people, some leaning on their canes for over an hour, be told that their prescription wasn't ready and they needed to come back. I waited in line for an hour and saw only one or two people out of 10 actually leave with the prescriptions they came in for. Everyone else was told they need to come back. If you need a reliable supply for a prescription medication then this not the pharmacy for you. Try a prescription delivery service instead. read more

Walgreens pharmacy hwy 20... Do not go here! The worst reviews here I promise it's all very accurate. They delete account information. They also enjoy deleting your regular prescriptions so you are forced to get them rewrite. These guys are a joke. A really bad knock knock joke. Ring ring joke perhaps? Ring ring! Who's there? Walgreens you have meds to pick up! And after you get all the way there. They then tell you you don't have anything to pickup. If everything thing they do is to go out of their way and go as far as sabotage people's medicine, safety, and wellness. You guys [Walgreens] should go prison. Would give 0 stars if possible. These guys are HORRIBLE. Won't answer phones calls have lost my insurance information literally every time so I'm stuck waiting an additional 30 minutes for them to run my insurance again. Just had surgery and was told we don't know if your prescription will be done today when I HAVE TO HAVE IT or risk getting an infection and they had 5 hours to fill it. I'm amazed by the bad reviews here. I live in Bend, and this place is great. The pharmacy staff goes above and beyond to help, and the pharmacists themselves take extra care to make sure you're comfortable with your prescription. About the only negative thing I have to say is when you call in to refill the recording advertisement is really annoying. It's super clean, great selection of brands, and doesn't usually have long lines. I'd recommend this place to anyone looking to not deal with the gross pharmacies like Rite Aid and Walmart. read more

I used this location in the past and was happy with them, but lately the wait times have been outrageous. For the past several months it has taken 1 week+ to fill any meds, plus I usually have to wait in line at least an hour to pick them up. Finally I switched my medications to a different pharmacy because I cannot afford to wait weeks for my heart medications and epipens. Today when I went to my new pharmacy to fill my medications, I could not get them because Walgreens had billed my insuprance without actually filling the medication, so I have to wait for Walgreens to cancel the order or fill it before I can transfer. I understand that staffing is a huge issue, but so is having medication when it's needed. read more

I was really disappointed this morning in this Walgreens. I scheduled an appointment for a flu shot through their online system and called the morning of to confirm it. "Yes, we have you in here, no problem," the upbeat woman on the phone confirmed. When I arrived, I joined what became a 30 minute line behind a coughing (thankfully mask wearing) fellow customer. When I got to the counter, the lady told me she had a different person scheduled for the same time as me. She went to check the list and returned. "You don't have an appointment," she said. "That's odd," I said. "I called this morning to confirm and was told I did." The lady went on to tell me that she had just talked to a co-worker who had confirmed that she had told me I had an appointment when I called. "We couldn't find the list,"she said. "I don't know why she would tell you you had an appointment when she couldn't find the list". I was astounded. I expect honesty. If the lady on the phone couldn't find the list, she could've said so instead of telling a bold-faced lie. She said they could fit me in, but I'd have to wait "at least another half hour " behind the walk-in people and other scheduled appointment. Ordinarily I don't mind waiting for things, but I let her know I wouldn't have time to wait (now over an hour) and still have time to get ready for work. When I asked if I could leave and come back in a half hour, she said I'd have to start all over at the end of the line. Sigh. I'm most upset about being lied to by the employee I called to verify my appointment. I drove an hour round trip to get there and would not have done that if I didn't have an appointment. Don't assume you have an appointment even if you confirm it. Allow 1-2 hours in your schedule if you wish to get a flu shot here. read more

Everytime I come to fill a prescription at this location, I hear someone in line upset with the service here. I can understand that people can feel frustrated with the wait or if their medication is on back order but I must say, the staff are working their butts off and if they could work faster, they would. They have always been kind and you can see that they are doing their best and always keep their cool when customers lash out at them and treat all customers with respect even if it's not reciprocated often.I wish more people could see past the inconveniences that covid had thrust upon all industries and acknowledge that the pharmacy staff are doing a great job. Our world changed so much since 2020 and that's not their doing. The had to pivot and make adjustments just like everyone else.Other pharmacies have closed in town causing them to take on the extra load and more people are utilizing medications than ever before.I'm grateful they still remain open and I hope they know that they are important and valued. read more

HIRE SOME PEOPLE IN THE PHARMACY! I am looking for another place to get my prescriptions. When I take the time to drive down there I am always faced with a long line either inside or out. I don't have that long to wait and always have to come back. It's particularly frustrating because there is more than one cash register in the store but only one person without much authority to handle the large line. There are many people filling prescriptions but the pick up window is a bottle neck. This is such a great pharmacy. I have had to come here now 4x in past month. Every time, although I have been irritated, they have been beyond kind, considerate, professional and gone beyond what I would say is expected. Tonight was no exception! I called, a little panicked as I was switching blood pressure medications and realized that the dosage was very different. Concerned after I popped a pill, I called at 9:57 pm, 3 minutes before they close. Keith answered the phone and I was soooo grateful! He kindly reassured me that it was the correct dose and didn't make me feel rushed to get off the phone as they were closing. In the past they were great, doubled the price of my prescription without telling me. Said it was my insurance companies fault. My insurance company told me to go to the westside pharmacy, and they would price correctly, Wallgreens was running rogue and not giving discount. Won't be doing business again. read more

PJ and Matt were very helpful at the photo kiosk. My husband and I were on a road trip, and decided to process our photos at their store. I personally find this technology confusing and complicated, and when our pics disappeared from the screen, I panicked. I thought they had gotten erased. Matt came over and found them for us. They had simply relocated their position on the screen, and we didn't know it. Both PJ and Matt were very courteous and understanding. Nice store, Staff offered to help us as soon as we walked in. Thank goodness for Walgreens in Bend. I just came from horrible customer service at Rite aid and was greeted by a friendly face who was willing to help me with a smile. She got me connected so I would be texted when they had my prescription filled and handled everything with transferring the prescription over from California to Oregon. Rite aid told me it was lost and to call my doctor! Anyway, Walgreens texted me about 20 minutes later to tell me everything was complete and I could come get my meds. I've always enjoyed going into this store,and have always been warmly welcomed and received nice and friendly service. That's why today threw me for a loop. As we were leaving the store the first time today we witnessed a homeless person urinating on the garbage can,by the front doors. Gross. No fault Of Walgreens but I suppose it's on camera. Went back a second time to pick up more photo prints. While we were there we added milk,candy for each of the 3 kids I had with me,as well as a 22 oz beer on the counter. The cashier demanded we all provide I.d. As we all looked under 40. Well I appreciated that and gladly showed my I.d. However,I had my 13 and 9 year old daughters,as well as another 9 year old with us. They don't have an I.d. He made no sense with his "store policy" answer,in which the manager(PJ) backed up. Did they really think I was buying this one beer to divide among these 3 children? It was very strange. He wouldn't sell it to me. Not only that but we noticed when we got home that 4 of the photos weren't printed and he didn't bring it to our attention upon pickup. read more

After a day of visiting with family, we decided to stop at Walgreens (Bend, Or) for some Vitamin C before returning to our hotel for the night. We noticed all the lights were on and only a couple of cars in the parking lot. As we walked through the front door, a clerk behind the counter, said firmly "we close in 1 minute". No other greeting. We found this extremely rude. They asked what we needed to shew us along. I can appreciate wanting to leave a job on time, but I also think this could be handled much better. As we have family in Bend that we visit regularly......I don't see that Walgreens will be the choice of store for us to shop. read more
