Today, that happened again when I came back to Albany. I couldn't of complained; it served my needs in more than one way; not only did I get a successful (no frills gas fill up) with my GasBuddy card here, but I also had to come in and use the men's room. I am a fan of ordering online on their app and then going in store for a seamless pickup. As is the case, I went into their Latham store today and discovered how difficult customer service can actually be. Or should I say the lack there of. I walked in as normal, heading directly to the pickup counter and stood there unnoticed for at least 10 minutes. I then saw that at least a handful of customers on the checkout line were helped. I tried to get the attention of a salesperson on the floor and he made eye contact with me, telling me to wait a second and someone would be right there. Unfortunately after another few moments, I had to interrupt the girls at the checkout counter. I was told by the salesgirl that she was assisting those on her line. The other girl who jumped in behind the counter to take customers then looked at me and told me to hold on and she would be there shortly. I am a patient person but being ignored as I am standing there just doesn't sit well. It would be nice if they had just acknowledged my presence and told me straightaway that someone would be there in a moment. Also, it was not as if there was a lack of sales staff as I saw several that seemed to walk in different directions and were not willing to assist. Needless to say customer service is not the same at every Ulta store.

I tried to work with two other companies prior to them to get my power wheelchair. Neither company could accommodate my special requests. Kristine, Jeff, and John at the Prime Care office had no issues working with my special requests. It is difficult for me to communicate via telephone due to not only my disabilities, but also a poor cell signal at my house. They had no issues at all communicating solely via text and email. They took care of all the paperwork and communications with my doctor and insurance company to get the proper forms filed. They were all courteous, polite, and professional every step of the way. They kept me informed of where we were in the process and what I would need to do in my home to get it ready for my chair. John worked with me to get the chair delivered when it was convenient for me. At delivery he explained all I needed to know and answered all my questions. Truly a great team at this company. I definitely recommend them if you need a power wheelchair, or any other medical equipment.
