We got a pint of corn casserole and an individual size of mac & cheese. Everything was so good!!! I love the sides here. They don't sound like anything special but they're super tasty. The meat is really good, juicy, and flavorful. The parking lot was full but there wasn't really a wait once we got inside to order. You order at the counter and they prepare your tray as you go down the line. For a group of 5, the total was only $75 which is not bad! There's plenty of seating outside and it felt pretty good in the shade. The employees were really nice and friendly. A couple of them stopped by our table to ask how things were.

Today they had a one pound eight ounce Beef Rib available so I ordered it. Five sauces are available and I chose Lost Dutchman. It is a mustard based sauce which I think is perfect. The order was brought to the table and it looked like a dinosaur bone attached to 7 inches of beef. I lifted the bone and it easily separated from the meat. The first bite told me that it was the best I ever tasted. I ate as much as I could at the table and took the rest home for dinner.

The atmosphere and ambiance were excellent, making it a really enjoyable place to sit down and have a meal. We started with the loaded baked potato, and it was delicious. The potato was cooked just right, not too hard and not overly soft, with just the right amount of butter and toppings. We also ordered the ranch salad. The lettuce was fresh and crisp, although I would have liked to see a few more cucumbers. The jalapeño cheddar sausage plate had just the right amount of spice. The flavor was good, but unfortunately, the sausage was a little too rubbery. It seemed like it may have been cooked just a bit too long. Still, it had good flavor and was enjoyable. And if you like sweet tea, theirs definitely lives up to the name! It was sweet. Overall, the food was good, the atmosphere was great, and the prices seemed very reasonable. Definitely a place I'd consider coming back to and trying something else from the menu.

I did like how grabbing bread and the pickle bar is literally open, and the variety of sauces was a very nice touch. Unfortunately as delicious as the food was, I did feel it's a little salty, almost requiring the bread. I would very much recommend the brisket if you swing by here, definitely worth the $3 upcharge getting it in a combo plate.

I was immediately treated with a friendly smile and an introduction to the lunch specials, which was exactly what I was looking for. I ordered a brisket sandwich, Mac and cheese side, and was convinced to try a Johnny cake as well. The brisket was tender and smoky, augmented by the spicy bbq sauce (not too spicy, they have a sweet one as well). Mac and cheese was dense with cheese and very obviously not out of a blue box :). The Johnny cake was excellent, their mix includes some maple syrup. All in all I had a great experience and will need to explore take home options for family dinner.

I don't think I've been so obsessed with a food item until now. Just thinking about it now has mouth is watering. The first time I visited was on July 4th, we got there right at opening and the line of service they have going was a well oiled machine. Their setup is a walk in, get in line and order almost similar to Subway, but better tasting. I got a side of Mac and cheese and cornbread (not pictured, I ate it too fast). It's self seating and they had a ton of options! The second time I visited I ordered at the to go window and got the baked potato again. The window service was fast and the wait wasn't long. They packaged up my food safely and I happily went on my way. I'm honestly looking forward to my next baked potato encounter at this location! Please give them a try, it's so stupidly good here. I can't wait to give their root beer float a try.

I ordered the Hot Sausage, Pork Ribs, and Mac and Cheese, for that 2 Meat meal. I loved the Mac and Cheese, and loved the Hot Sausage. The ribs weren't my favorite, I didn't like how the sort-of-crust didn't leave much tender meat left on the bone, but I know that's just a preference. The cornbread came with the meal, and it was fine, but nothing crazy. The maple butter is very tasty though. I also ordered a slice of Root Beer Cake to take home, it was pretty funky and definitely root beer flavored, probably wouldn't get it again. But overall didn't feel greasy, was pretty busy but not unbearable, and would come back again.

And the brisket should not be room temperature since we ate it right away. The Cream Corn came out hot and delicious. The complimentary bread were nice as usual. You can choose white or wheat bread.
