Tried this restaurant while we visit Orlando China Town. We were the first group to be seated once their doors are opened at 11am. Within 30 minutes, most tables are occupied- it looks like a popular restaurant in the shopping square. Customer service is great and we like the fresh home-made noodle on site! Cucumber salad is fresh and eggs are fine. Noodles are tasty especially we like fresher noodles. Drink has promotion that we got one free for ordering two and they are tasty! Worth a try for noodle lovers :). read more

What a find!! Came here with a couple of colleagues after a hard days work and it hit the spot. We were craving something comforting to cure our "blues" and the hand pulled noodles did just the trick! Walala is located in the China Town shopping plaza nestled in between other noodle restaurants. We decided to come here.. well one.. my coworker wanted to try it and two.. it had the most stars.. and three.. we were intrigued about their free noodle refills. We each started with their signature noodle bowls with beef. Our waitress asked how spicy we wanted our broth. I went with a little spice and both my coworkers wanted spicy ( one of them actually had hers really spicy) . My bowl came with 3 sides and we ordered a side of the handmade pan fried buns. The pan fried buns were so filling and so satisfying and pillowy soft. Definitely a must try if you ever make your way here. And the noodles.. mm mmm mmm! Made fresh and hand pulled. They give you a lot so make sure you make room in your belly or wear loose fitting clothes because you will get full. Did I mention that their noodles are gluten free? Thought I'd share that for those with gluten allergies or sensitivity. I like that they have 3 different types of noodles to choose from for the free noodle refills. You can sit at the regular tables to enjoy your meal or at the counter behind the partition to watch them hand make the noodles. Either way, I think you'd enjoy it here. I know we did! read more

I was able to sit at the bar and watch the noodles be made. It was a great experience. The only got 4 stars as the chicken soup broth had very little flavor. I did enjoy the pan fried bibs. The bottoms were crispy and had a flavorful sauce. They unfortunately forgot the fried "doughnut " with the fresh made soy milk, as I am not sure of the real name. The advice was impeccable from when you are greeted and offered tea to the waitresses taking your orders. The food came out fast The small place was extremely busy but that is a good thing for them but did not affect the service. read more

We were just here and sat for approximately 10 minutes with no one even looking our way to give us a menu. Meanwhile, there were two different groups of people after us that were seated that were able to receive their menu immediately. Unfortunately, although the food is pretty good, the service is absolutely terrible. The tables are dirty even when it's not busy and the service is atrocious making it nearly impossible to join. Enjoy service here. Will never come here again. read more

Fantastic hand pulled noodles. So fun to watch them being made while enjoying my soup. I asked for more noodles after I finished my first round, because as much as I was enjoying the flavor of the broth, I did still want more. They were so friendly and quick with my request. Can't wait to go back! Definitely a great, authentic noodle house. read more

this was our first visit and the food was unbelievable. cucumber salad was refreshing, boba tea was delicious, noodles were chewy and perfect...but the dumplings and the broth were out of this world. i cannot stress enough how good the broth was. the right amount of spicy and overall mouth watering flavors. great service and a calm environment. we will be back!! read more

I have to say, the pulled noodle bowls are very limited if you don't eat spicy food. The only real option I had was the chicken noodle bowl, and it was very bland. The chicken was very gamy-tasting and there was rubbery skin floating in the soup. I didn't like it at all. The dumplings were good, though. It was very misleading because the menu shows a red hot pepper under the soups that are spicy, or so I thought. But the waitress said, no, the meat is pre-marinated and it's spicy. I guess I won't be back there. read more

Me and my wife were looking for a new place to try ramen noodles and we came across this place on Google. We've never been to Chinatown of Orlando and found this place to be a perfect spot to get some good food and a casual setting. The service was very quick and they tended to our every need. The food was savory and delicious. My wife really enjoyed the pan fried buns. We would recommend this place to anybody. And we would definitely be back for more ramen read more

My husband had the hand pulled noodles with spicy beef shank. We split the chicken dumplings. The portions are humongous. It was so delicious and fresh and we had a lot to take home for another amazing meal. I can't stop dreaming of those noodles and can't wait to go back!! read more

Great food and service!!!! Chef makes noodles in front of us and the interior looks great!!!

Very clean restaurant. From manger to server, friendly and welcoming. Food is delicious and fresh. Highly recommend.

Placed my order to go and came back and my food was waiting in a high chair. That is disgusting thinking about all of the bacteria that is held in that high chair. Even if it is bagged it is unacceptable. Bacteria is disgusting and can spread. Do better. read more

This is the best Lanzhou noodle I've ever had in Orlando area! Their knife cut noodle is very authentic! I finished both noodle and the soup, yummy! My daughter ordered traditional spicy noodle dish which called Dandan mian. And it surprisedly tastes so good! Love this place and definitely will recommend to my friends and come back soon! read more

We came here on a Friday of the week the opened so they were out of a lot of things, but the meal was still fantastic! Their kitchen is completely open so you can watch the chef make your noodles while you're sitting at your table. We ordered the fresh hand made noodles because they were out of all other noodle options, but their fresh hand made noodles are very "Q". They don't provide a lot of protein in their noodle bowls, so I wish there was an option to add more protein. They have little jars of chili oil and black vinegar for you to add to your meal if you feel like it's not spicy enough. They also offer more noodles if you're not full at no additional cost. read more

Very nice hand pulled noodles w the best texture. Fast service and good food - the perfect combo!!

First time going here it was really delicious the second time I liked my choices but my 2 friends didn't like it I guess the one they chose wasn't all that good. But service was ok. They told us they will not be selling no more Reman. Kinda weird so I guess they need to take it off the menu. read more

An unexpected treat on our way out of town. So worth the pitstop. 10/10 recommend visiting. Very traditional Asian dishes and the broth with the ramen was fantastic ! The noodles are hand made and you can certainly tell from the taste to the lack of pasta bloat after. Tried milk and eggs in sweet fermented glutinous rice soup for the first time which is a dessert and it was also delicious. read more

The fresh noodles did not disappoint, soups were tasty. I never had cold edamame though that was didn't. Services was good,

I've spent over 7 years living in China for work and totally fell in love with all kinds of Chinese food, especially noodles. Lanzhou Lamian (兰州拉面) was always one of my top picks--those hand-pulled noodles with a rich broth are just unbeatable. So when I spotted a place around here with Lanzhou Lamian on the sign, I was stoked. My office moved to Pine Hills over a year ago, and I couldn't wait for this spot to open. A whole year of waiting later, I finally saw that open sign and ran in to check it out. Right away, I was welcomed by super friendly staff. The place is not large, but it is welcoming, and you can watch the guy hand-pull the noodles right there in the restaurant while you eat! I tried the classic beef noodles and dumplings on my first visit, and since then, I've also sampled the dry noodles and the la tiao (Chinese donut). Every bite took me back to wandering through my old town in China and stumbling upon those perfect little noodle joints where I'd leave with a happy, full belly. I'm ecstatic this place is nearby and already know I'll be a regular. Watch out, Yelp-- a new Duke has come to town. read more

Walala has a delicious chinese hand pulled noodles soup that is perfect comfort food for a rainy day. The host as you enter is friendly and gives you a good estimate to how long a table will be. I went just recently during their soft opening, so please be patient as the restaurant has officially open just this week. The atmosphere is relaxing and if sat close to the kitchen, you can see one of the chef creating the noodles. Now about the food, I had never had Chinese hand pulled noodle soup and it honestly so good. I'm just thinking about when I'm going back. What my bf and I ordered was, Appetizer-chicken and pork(Dumpling Combo 水饺拼盘）-白总出肉3个，西芹车肉4个，當菇对爽3个 3 Pork Dungling, 4 Beef Ourping: 3 Chicken Dumgling Main course- Braised Beef Boneless Short Rib Stew Hand-pulled Noodles 红烧牛肉原汤牛肉面 Hand - pulled Noodles with Large Sliced Beef Shank 大片牛腱子原汤牛肉面 I highly suggest trying the restaurant if you're looking for something new and full of flavor. I can't make comments about the desserts or drinks because since I went during the soft opening, they weren't quite ready since they were waiting for their shipment of things. They are fairly new please be patient read more

The hype is real and if you are looking at this place on Yelp, just go ahead and go. ! I saw this place on Instagram and a friend had mentioned liking the food there, so we decided to try it. I'd had good ramen before but never authentic Chinese noodles. I got the beef shank and my husband got the braised short ribs. Both were so good! I added the spicy stuff to the beef shank and it was incredible. We also tried the pan fried buns , and those were great too! Neither of us can eat much in one sitting so we are excited to enjoy our leftovers for the next few meals. I saw they provide free noodle refills and can't imagine being hungry enough to even need that. Service was efficient and ambiance was cute, bright and well done. Oh also the teas and boba!!! So good. read more

Excellent noodles and broth! Service is a bit uneven but I highly recommend because the food quality is stellar!

The food was very bland. My girlfriend and I ordered two of the most popular things on the menu, and neither of us were happy. We also ordered dumplings, which surprisingly, were very good, but 4 for 10 is a little much. I also ordered a tea egg and it was overcooked into oblivion. Also, when they served the egg, there were so many broken shells in the egg itself that it made it very difficult to eat. The price is pretty good, but it is mid. The service was below average. All of the servers, for some reason, were staring my girlfriend and I down and it was extremely uncomfortable. In the kitchen, there was a man who was taking bites of something. I was not sure if it is food they are gonna serve to customers, but it made it very unsettling. The ambiance was horrible. read more

The ground beef with noodles (I don't remember what they called it) is delicious! Also don't miss the Mango Drink/smoothie. We've been there twice and wish it was closer.
