One of the most authentic phở places in the US! Their broth tastes delicious similar to the ones in Vietnam. They also use fresh noodles so their phở noodles are thicker and chewier. One of their specialty that I haven't seen anywhere is their Tái Đập (raw pounded/minced beef), which is basically just your regular beef but got pounded many times to make the meat melt-in-your-mouth soft. Oh, then their trứng non (young/fertilized eggs) fills up to their brim, which I haven't seen anywhere also. Came here for a little get-together because the pho came highly recommended and I can see why! Everyone at our table loved their pho. The broth tasted super fresh, the noodles were perfectly cooked, and I loved all the fresh veggies that came with it. That said, I do not recommend the Bun Bo Hue. It wasn't spicy at all, and the broth was a bit too sweet for my taste--not exactly what I was hoping for. On the bright side, the sugarcane was a win, and at around $5 per order, it's a solid deal. Customer service? Very much "Vietnam vibes." Nothing over the top, but they're clearly trying to keep things moving and efficient. A great spot for pho on West Colonial. My friends love their original location and I wanted to try out their pho so we were happy to see that this location was here while the other one is closed. It's a bit further out than the other one and is a drive to come here but was worth it for us. The plaza its in is a bit unsuspecting and it's tucked away in the corner. The inside of this restaurant is big and spacious and was very clean. The service was super fast and we were able to look at the menu and order right away. I love how all the pho comes in any size bowl option you can think of. From a baby bowl to a king-sized one! I got a medium and it was pretty pricey but normal for what prices are for pho these days. He said it was the best pho of all the pho he ever had including his two years in Viet Nam! I had one spoon to taste. The flavor was just ok to me . What makes it so special was the sirloin meat cut in the pho. It falls apart and melted in your mouth my husband said. I had spicy beef noodle soup. I was above average; the broth lacks the lemongrass and mam tom flavor. Not a classic traditional assortment of toppings for the soup. A B+ rating. I'm gonna tell you that in my opinion the broth tasted a little thin and watery. But I've been told that the original location's broth is much better. This is their second location on the west side of town, with more parking and more room to accommodate a large party. Great authentic food, food comes quickly and fairly priced. I think his was P15. I ordered something to go for my son. When I got home was when I realized the beef included was raw. I'm kind of surprised by some of the reviews for this place as someone who has avidly been to the original location, this is the same taste! Not only that, but it's even better ambiance. It's double the size of the original location and has a modern look inside. This place is definitely authentic, my family can vouch that it is the real deal & the difference between here and other places is that they use really great noodles! The service was awesome, servers were very quick to come to the table & were attentive the entire time. I'm really happy for them being able to open a second location, if you are familiar with the other location, then you know sometimes the wait can be long especially on weekends! So I was craving Pho this day and I heard this place was excellent with pho and it just opened recently as their 2nd location. The original location is at East Colonial. This restaurant is on the same plaza as Boba Queen. Its on the outer curb facing the road by the pawn shop place. This place recently opened so I didn't expect much as far as crowds. They had 2-3 diners eating at the time I walked in and I was seated right away. They have a huge condiment tray on the table with different sauces, etc. The prices is based on the size of bowl and it do not matter which soup you get. I opted the medium bowl which was $15 and had the combo pho that had tripe, meatball, tendon, steak and brisket I think. I opted wide noodles. I also ordered fresh sugarcane juice. The sugarcane juice was pre made in a to go cup and it was $5. It was fresh sugarcane but they had already squeezed it out and placed them on cups. It was good and refreshing - No ice needed because it was already cold. Pho came in fast I requested the bean sprouts to be steamed or cooked. So the meat quantity was not much in my opinion thats why I gave less stars. I only ate 1 meat ball and it was small but to me that was the tastiest meat. The rest were thinly sliced. Service here was ok - They serve warm water bottle as your water service they didn't offer more water after I gulped mine up. I am not sure what to look for as far as best pho but for me the meat quantity was not enough for me. There are other pho places nearby I may want to check out. read more

I have been eating Pho for 30 years. Virginia has many great Pho restaurants including in Eden Center. When I tried Pho Houng, I believe this is the BEST PHO I've ever had! The filet mignon was outstanding, the vegetables were fresh and they had a huge selection of sauces. The owner was super friendly and made great recommendations. Amazing pho & bun bo Hue! This is my family favorite restaurant...always delicious and authentic!

Went to his location last week to try their bun Bo hue while husby got pho. Did not like it at all. Service was decent. They're fairly quick to bring out the food after you order. It would be nice if they gave you cold water instead of room temp. There was no AC. As soon as my bowl hit the table, I knew it was most likely that it wouldn't be good and I was right. The color wasn't there and it didn't smell like bun bo hue. Broth was lackluster and nothing about it told me there was lemongrass in it. I ate the whole thing while dipping the meats in hoisin and sriracha to get through it. Hubby's pho was a miss for me too. I don't know if it was because we were the first customers of the day or if this is typically how they make their food, but the broth is just too bland for me. I know that they're popular and would always have a wait at the original location, but after trying them 3x over the years, I don't know if I'll come back. The only plus is that for the amount of food you get, the pricing is reasonable. However, I think that starting your tipping percentage at 18% at a pho spot is a bit much. read more

Approved from a Vietnamese person and elders. We've lived in Orlando 25+ years and the Huong Lan chain is the closest you'll get to Vietnam. I had to leave a review because I was confused about the other reviews here. This place is definitely authentic and you can tell from the herb tray that they place out after you order. It's similar in decor, music, and flavor to places in VN, minus VN's oven climate and tiny chairs. The other guests also were mostly viet people. Service was quick and we were seated quickly. The only difference I noticed from Huong Lan 2 from 1 was that it was more spacious and had more modern decor. My mom and I got the filet mignon pho (pho tái) and ordered an order of spare rib tendon on the side. The kid's bowls were more than enough. Neither locations use the thin dried packaged pho noodles that are used in most pho places. I saw complaints about the broth and that confused me too. You're supposed to use the different herbs, jalapeños, lime, and sauces tray to flavor it to your liking. I hope more people give this place a chance because it's just as good as the other location. read more

This is my favorite restaurant in Orlando!! We eat here almost twice a week and every time we walk out happy and satisfied. I love the model of paying for the amount of pho you want. Our go-tos are the Bun Bo Hue and the egg roll (this is seriously the BEST egg roll I have ever tried. Everyone we take there also agree that this egg roll is something special).
