So you put "pho" into Yelp and look at the 5 or 6 pho options in the Mills area. Then you choose the one with the most stars but it's closed on Tuesdays. So you simply go to the option closest to your friend's house to please her since all the remaining 4 or 5 options seem similar. Then you end up at Pho Vinh, unpretentiously, by chance. Then you leave there very happy. Reasons for our collective happiness: portion size, broth flavor, generosity of basil, lime, bean sprouts and jalapeño, nice service, fair prices, and the short wait. Pho Vinh is what you expect from a decent quality pho restaurant: flavor over fuss, efficiency over beating around the bush.
Pho Vinh was amazing from the moment we walked in. The smell alone was super aromatic. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, full of flavor, and the portion sizes were generous. The menu has a wide variety of options, so there's something for everyone. One of my favorite things we ordered were the grilled beef meatballs summer rolls! The pho was so good, it had tons of meat and noodles, and the broth was very flavorful. Our food came out quickly, and our server was friendly and helpful, which made the experience even better. It's a casual, laid-back spot with delicious food. 10/10, will definitely be back!
I haven't had a truly great bowl of pho since I visited Chicago years ago, but this Orlando spot has officially ended my long search! We came in on a cool day craving something warm and comforting, and it was the perfect choice. We started with the Fried Spring Rolls, which were incredibly light, crispy, and packed with flavor--a fantastic start. For our main event, we ordered the #85 (Tái nạm). The bowl was massive and arrived piping hot, accompanied by a fresh plate of lime, jalapeño, bean sprouts, and Thai basil. The broth was the true star: deeply rich and flavorful, offering that ultimate comfort without the heavy, salty aftertaste you sometimes get. The slices of medium-rare steak were tender, and the rice noodles were perfect. This is exactly what great pho should be. The service is friendly, and our food came out surprisingly fast. While the staff was great at keeping our water glasses full, they became a bit less visible after the meal, and we had to flag someone down for the check. It's a minor point in an otherwise excellent experience. With plenty of seating and no wait, it's a great, reliable spot.

Friendly service, got seated quickly and waters brought out. I also got a can of Sprite ($4) and the vermicelli with grilled shrimp, five came with a bowl filled with pickled carrots, cilantro and thinly sliced cucumber ($15).
Such a cozy location with great customer service. Their soup bowls are incredible as their summer rolls are as well. Very filling food, that leaves you feeling refreshed and energized.
My go-to spot for home style Vietnamese food! You have to get their caramelized braised catfish and veggie dishes. They cook the fish perfectly to where it's tender and fall off the bone, but not dry; and the sauteed water spinach with garlic is just like how my grandma makes. Both of these with some fluffy white rice hits the spot so good. The pho here is pretty good, but can be hit or miss sometimes; especially when compared to some other pho spots around town. Service is friendly and quick! They're very accommodating. The ambiance and decor is nostalgic and minimal, but the food is the main star here. Highly recommend!
Let me preface this review with, I love soup. All kinds, all times of year. Also, at any given moment I love Asian food, so all of that may be skewing my review. Pho Vinh is clean, decorated with some very specific Vietnamese paintings, and overall a decent place. It was clear that the to-go area was very busy. The pho was delightful and came with a very generous plate of Thai basil, bean sprouts, lime, and jalapeño. The broth was exactly what I wanted it to be and soothes the soul. We also ordered the lemongrass chicken and that was better than what I imagined. It was so tasty that I tried a bit of the sauce with the pho broth and OMG was it good. Darn it, now I want the whole meal all over again. Overall, a great spot and good food.
The food was okay. The space was able to accommodate us as a large party. The prices were also okay. I personally liked the dessert more.
Came here twice and I have to say that this is the best Vietnamese cuisine I've had so far in Orlando. They have a small parking lot in the back, two separate entrances. When you arrive they normally have you sit where you'd like. Quick service and Great service. The food not only looks amazing but it is amazing which is a 10/10 in my book. Very chill and relaxing vibe. I will always come back.

Very clean well maintained pho restaurant located in Downtown Orlando. The servers were friendly and attentive and portions were big enough to fill me up even with the regular size. Broth was deep and flavorful. In my opinion, debatably one of the best pho restaurants in Orlando for sure. Recommend checking it out when you crave Pho!
Saw this place on Phuc Map's vlog on YouTube thanks to Ricky Ly! The Bun Bo Hue was recommended and said to be pretty authentic. So we had to go! This is a very nice restaurant and not a "noodle shop" if you know what I mean. I really liked the paintings on the wall. Also they grow papayas in their front lawn so you know you are getting ultra fresh papaya! I wonder if they grow anything else there. Service was perfect. Spring rolls (you get 2) came out immediately and then the soups 5 minutes later. The spring rolls were standard as was the dipping sauce. They brought out a huge plate of toppings. Look at it! Tons of fresh everything. Hard to see but a huge pile of bean sprouts is below the greenery. The pho broth was very good. Definitely can't go wrong with the pho here. Totally solid. I went for the spicy bun bo hue. Wow! The broth has a nice bite to it without being overpowering. They do have the standard siracha, hoisin, and chili sauce on the table but I opted to eat it as is. I read that true authentic would have a side of fresh chili sauce but none here. I used a little lime but it really didn't need it. One thing I love over pho is the noodles are thick like spaghetti. Next it had a TON of beef and pork in it. Waaaay more than most places give you. The beef was a bit fatty which I don't like but I could eat around some of the big chunks. I know some people love it as is. It also comes with a very unique pork sausage which is kind of spongy. I also read that authentic will have some congealed blood cubes but none here. Don't know if you can order it with. Overall, we really enjoyed Pho Vinh. Definitely deserves a spot in the top tier for soups. Have to try some entrees next!
I got take out and the food was packed well. The fried egg rolls were very good too but I feel like the large portion does not give you much more than the regular portion of pho. Pho tasted good too. I did not like the chili sauce they give you in place of chili oil. If you like siracha mixed with ketchup with a hint of hoisin sauce you might like it. read more
Great find! On a trip to Orlando and ran into this family-owned establishment. Prices were reasonable, portions were really large, and our waitress was so friendly. Ordered a spread consisting of: - Spring Rolls (3/5). Probably the let down dish. A bit too small and generic tasting - Com Tam Dac Biet (4/5). Huge! This dish is a combo platter and really filling. Pho Vinh is always a solid place to go for good Viet food in Orlando. Lots of seating and spacious, this is a great place to host a large gathering. Service is always friendly, fast, and efficient. I love getting their rice vermicelli here. Always a solid choice, especially during a hot summer day. The noodles and the vinegar and fish sauce based sauce is just so refreshing, along with the crunch cucumbers and pickled carrots and radish. Pho Vinh has been an Orlando staple for many years and was my "go to" spot when I use to live near Colonialtown. Now, since I live a bit further away I don't get to go as often anymore but had a chance to stop by for lunch this past week. After a full year hiatus...the food was just as good as I remembered. Located near the intersection of Primrose and Colonial Dr this restaurant is easily spotted from the road by their huge sign display. Parking can be found in the back and there is a plentiful amount of spaces. Upon entering, you are welcomed with warm colors and Vietnamese inspired decor along the walls. We were greeted and seated almost immediately. For food we opted for the Banh Xeo (Vietnamese crepe), pho, and bun bo hue (spicy beef noodle soup). Since it wasn't as busy during that time... our food arrived almost immediately. All the food we ordered was delicious! The broth of the pho and bun bo hue reminded me so much of how my mom makes it. It was super flavorful and rich, which really hit the spot. The banh xeo was probably my favorite, it came out very crispy with a whole garden of fresh herbs which is my favorite part. Needless to say that we ate and left no crumbs lol. Our server was very attentive and make sure we had everything we needed throughout our visit! The prices were not bad, a tad bit higher then other Vietnamese restaurants.... but hey you're definitely paying for quality so I did not mind. Overall, I would highly recommend Pho Vinh for all my pho lovers out there... definitely check it out the next time you're around the area! read more

Been coming here for around 10 years now. It's still the most exquisite Pho in the greater Central Florida area! Number 88 & 74 are my favorites. This place is like if the phrase "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" was a soup shop. read more

This is one of my favorite Vietnamese restaurants in Orlando. The food is consistently great, and the service is efficient. The inside is a bit dated but it is clean and well-maintained. Prices are average and typical with what you would expect at other Vietnamese restaurants in the area. For this visit, we ordered 2 Pho Xe Lua which is a large bowl with all of the different meats. Another favorite of mine here is the Com Dac Biet. Compared to some of the other Vietnamnese restaurants we go to, their noodles don't compare (I think it's the shape of the noodles that we love lol). read more

Plenty of parking behind the restaurant, originally we were going to go to sevenbites but since the line was so long and we were so hungry we decided to go here instead and I am glad!!! Really nice inside, the menu is huge! We got the Vietnamese ice coffee (strong and delicious), the spring roll (crunchy, so good), and the pork and shrimp summer roll (fresh and really good also). I got the beef and meatball pho, soup was so flavorful, so delicious. One of the best pho I have had in orlando! And husband had the combo cold noodle, he loved it. So many items on the menu I want to try and it's just delicious!!! read more

I've been the Pho Vinh many times. Most of the time, when I go, I get either one of the pho or rice vermicelli dishes. On this most recent trip, I made the effort to try something on the menu that I have never tried. I wound up with #73 bun cari ga, the chicken curry with rice vermicelli. The curry tasted very good with the addition of coconut milk, and I was surprised how good sweet potatoes went with the dish. I went with a large group of friends, and service for ordering and refilling drinks was good. read more
Our last meal in Florida before flying home. Visited this mom and pop shop for Vietnamese food. Waiter and owner were very friendly and greeted us as we came in. I had the BBH and wife ordered Hu Tieu Mi. BBH was very flavorful but was missing the pig feet, in my opinion is the best part of BBH. Wife said her soup was a bit bland but overall everything was good. They have a pretty extensive menu and a lot to offer. Come show your support if you're in the area read more
Rarely do I say "this is a really good Vietnamese spot." After growing up near San Jose -- home to some of the best Vietnamese food outside of Vietnam -- Pho Vinh stands on evening footing to what you'll find in San Jose. Banh Xeo is perfectly crispy and reminds me of what I ate at home growing up. Bo Tai Chanh is citriusy and a carnivore's delight. I love the pho. Simple as that. I usually go for their big bowl Xe Lua and it's the best option if you're starving. I visit from out of town but whenever I'm here, I will always come here at least once a visit. Pho Vinh is my favorite pho place in Orlando and it's by a landslide. This restaurant has been around forever and is truly authentic Vietnamese food. I started coming year over 10 years ago, and it always solves my ailments LOL it brings me back to life after I've been sick, hungover, or suffering from an upset stomach. My go-to is their Pho Tai and spring rolls. I normally take it to go but I love being able to eat in the restaurant and drink their delicious fresh lemonade. The restaurant is extremely clean (you smell the cleaning products when you walk in) which is always a plus for me. Once you order, the staff will likely stand back and give you your space so keep that in mind, and don't be scared to call them over in case you need anything else. read more

#73 Chicken Curry Pho Vinh Yesterday I asked for recommendations for Pho Vinh off of Colonial Drive. Facebook recommended the Chicken Curry. At this point anything this group recommends.. I will trust and try. The staff at Pho Vinh were incredible. Kind, chatty and informative. My chicken curry soup arrived to the table pipping hot. It was absolutely delicious. Sweet, creamy and loaded with lots of chicken and noodles. To my surprise there was several chuncks of sweet potatoes. Absolutely decadent. 11/10 I'm exited to try more! read more
This review's been a long time coming, because for years now, I've considered this place to serve the king of all pho in Orlando. Now, if you're from Orlando, you know that's a pretty big statement. There's lots of Vietnamese food here, and lots and lots of pho. So the battle is always on to see who has the best. But let's go ahead and lay it out there. Pho Vinh serves the best pho in town. (Ahn Hong close second.) They also serve other delicious menu items and can be considered a very tasteful, sort-of-elegant Vietnamese restaurant compared to the more hustle-and-bustle kind of places like Pho 88 and Little Saigon - both of which are designed to handle massive lunch crowds. Pho Vinh, however, is tucked away in a poorly landscaped little restaurant building on Primrose, packed in the middle of a little triad of between Il Pescatore and Pho Hua. It's really kind of off the beaten path and is almost on the eastern edge of the neighborhood known as Colonial Town. But that's ok, it's still close to downtown and is worthy of a visit. On this occasion, I ordered the pho with rare steak, tendon, tripe and flank steak. The portion is huge of course, with fresh greens, very tasty and fresh meats and other animal parts, and the best pho broth in town. The summer rolls, which are a must-do appetizer at any Vietnamese restaurant, are super yums, too. Well made and served with a perfect peanut sauce. One more interesting detail about this place. The decor is consistent throughout, and by that I mean consistently odd. As every painting on the walls in the place, are all about the same size, appearing to be hand painted originals, and all feature som mellow dramatic scene of an Asian woman engaged in some sort of passive activity. Truly weird. But, it's better than giant TVs everywhere - which most restaurants are defaulting to these days. Anyway, best pho in town. And that's worthy of 5 stars. read more

The restaurant is usually clean. It's in a good location with decent parking. The menu offers a good variety of authentic dishes, and the service is usually friendly. My fav is bun rieu, canh chua cá kho to. If you're looking for a clean, reliable spot for pho. read more
This was our first time visiting Pho Vinh, and we really enjoyed it! We went with a group of friends on a Tuesday evening and had no problem getting a table for 8. This is a no frills, family-owned Vietnamese restaurant, and we were definitely the loudest bunch in there. I was really impressed by how much flavor all of their dishes have. To be honest, I wasn't super in the mood for anything soupy/brothy at that time (I know, then why would I go to a pho place?!), but they actually have a ton of other great noodle and rice dish options as well. We started with the fried wontons -- crispy, amazing goodness and the meat inside was seasoned so well. For my main entree, I got the #115 Bún Chả Giò Thịt Nướng (Rice vermicelli with charbroiled pork and spring rolls.) The pork was lean and thinly sliced (just the way I like it) and packed with flavor. I added some spice and sauces to my vermicelli noodles just to jazz them up a bit. There was a good mix of vegetables and a crispy spring roll in the bowl as well -- I ate it all and it was very satisfying. I did get a little slurp of the broth in the coconut curry chicken soup and WOW, it's magical -- definitely getting that next time when I'm in more of a soup mood. The service was quick and efficient, and they didn't seem to mind that we stayed to hang out long after our meal was done just chatting (they weren't busy at that time). They also allow you to bring in your own wine to drink with your dinner (there may be a small corkage fee, but I'm not sure). Parking is convenient in the back of the building, and you can enter the restaurant through the back as well. With more chilly days approaching, I think we'll definitely be back to cozy up with some hot soup soon! read more
