I must say I am never impressed with coffee shop chains and have never once been willing to give a review about one but this one blew me away. First of all the coffee I was served is probably the best cup of coffee I have ever tasted. It has a good rich coffee flavor while not being bitter or sour. My baristas name was James he said he was the manager of this specific location and he recommended a caramel and hazelnut americano with cream. He said that it was his favorite drink and that one thing that set it apart from others was that Wake Up Call actually makes there own caramel sauce and hazelnut syrup. Aye Papi he was right. I have never had such a rich flavored and creamy drink. I was also super impressed with his speed and rigor while making the coffee. My girlfriend who was with me wanted to order a Redbull and was pretty upset about the fact that they didn't serve Redbull until she tried the Mad Hatter Energy drink that James was telling us. She was very surprised at how delicious the drink was. She has always been a die hard Redbull gal and she said she would switch to this permanently! This was just the drinks! When we first got there there was a line of 6 cars and I was expecting to have to sit there for atleast 20 minutes compared to any other place you go taking that long. They had one of the baristas I believe her name was Shannon come out and take my order to send it in on the iPad. I since not being there before asked to order at the window but was very impressed with the speed and efficiency this coffee shop showed. Every person working even through the mask you could tell was smiling we heard lots of laughter the entire time we were at the window!! I must say this is probably the best coffee shop experience in my entire life! I can't believe I hadn't been here before I will most certainly be coming back and telling everyone I know to come back also!!! Keep up the amazing work you guys! I have to say. I came through this stand a few times over the spring and early summer and it was not worth it. The wait times were always atrocious the coffee was sub par and the service was just alright. I have been going to workout at the planet fitness right there and decided to give them one more try as every time I am working out in the mornings I see that the lines are moving very speedy so figured something had changed. This stand has done a complete 180! I met the manager James and found out he took over back in August and I am so glad I gave them another try! The coffee was delicious! I got a frostbite with chocolate milk as an americano and it was a beautiful blend of sweetness and coffee all in one sip! I was also supremely impressed with the friendliness of the baristas and the speed of service! I sweat I pulled into line with 4 cars in front of me and was expecting to wait around 10 minutes. I had the sweetest barista come out into the cold and grab my order I believe her name was Shannon. I kid you not from the time I pulled in to the time I left the drive through window was less than 4 minutes and that was with 4 other cars ahead of mine! If I could give you more stars I would. hi my name is larrilyn and wake up call on northwest blvd is a great thing they are close to my house and I have been going there for three years and morgan and Jared and clare and elisia are just a few of my favorite girls and guy when they see my car in the line they already have my favorite drink ready with a friendly smile and also two dog treats for my fur children.I have never had a bad experience with with at this wake up call even when I dropped my drink once it was remade with a smile on there face and even helped me clean up my car they treat me like I'm family and I would highly recommend this wake up call to everyone I know cause it is the best on out there ive been to the one in the valley and I wasn't as happy as iam with the people at the northwest blvd one makes my day alot better every time I go there and see my girls they happy and always smiling kinda hard to have a bad day after seeing and speaking to them on those days read more

I go to this location at 5am and 5 pm every weekday. My favorite morning person is Anika. No matter which side I'm on she always comes and says hello. We have had some amazing conversations. She knows alot about me and still takes the time to say hello. Lol. I miss seeing her every morning, though Jared has really started to grow on me since he's there M-F. They both know what I order, but lately I've started trying new drinks and they make it perfect. As for evening crew the only one I know by name is Nick and one of the blonde girls know exactly what coffee I'm ordering being that it's for my son. Let me just tell you all that James is the best Barista. I just learned today that he is actually the manager also! Now this doesn't surprise me in the sense that he clearly knows what he is doing, makes amazing coffee, and has some of the best customer service I have truly ever seen. The reason it surprised me is that he is right down in it with everyone else in there. I have never seen him act higher than anyone else. I see him outside running cars in the cold and weather just like everyone else. I was so surprised! I am the type of person that never leaves reviews, especially when it comes to coffee stands. I work at a coffee stand, and sometimes decide to go to different places for something different. The man working here was sarcastic and very rude. I hope to never have to come back here again, because I was just smirked at and felt like an idiot. We had two separate orders, which I understand is never ideal, but he sighed and was rude from right off the bat. He forgot our order multiple times, and was not friendly at all. Before trying out wake up call for the first time I came here to look at the reviews. I am disgusted that the three most recent reviews are obviously fake. They're all written on the same day, in perfect grammar, going above in beyond about a barista named "Abby", and all spelling her name right. Not one mention of the actual coffee which is way too weird. It's clear it's either the actual person Abby writing these to look good or wakeup call is making fake reviews themselves. This store is amazing! I had come a few times over the last 12 months or so and I noticed a huge change in the employees and store when James took over. My drinks are always on point, the store is so clean now, the employees are so much happier seeming now and the line times have drastically improved! The gang and I were on our way to a fire at the orphanage (we're volunteer firefighters) when we got that mid day caffeine crash. My captain pulled the fire engine into the nearest drive through coffee shop. The coffee lady, Kaela, was very efficient and sweet, and the coffee was tasty. Wake up call on Northwest Blvd has been my go-to in town since i moved back to town. The morning team (James, Heana, Madison, Kaela) have learned my drinks and are always on top of getting my order and making sure it is correct.
