I door dash and Uber eats their drinks a lot... with that being said, probably out of the 15 times I've asked for whipped cream on top I've actually gotten it maybe twice. It cost me about .30 cents extra and today I was so disappointed because I was looking forward to it. Once I went in person and the girl forgot and I asked politely to put it on and she said omg I always forget I'm sorry. I completely understand that, we're all human. It just happens quite often and with the charge I probably could have afforded another drink with how often its forgotten. I've been a loyal daily customer since WUC opened. Great employees for the most part...courteous & professional. But WUC recently "updated" (haha) their online system. Then began a total refusal to take accountability for collapse of their customer service system. Last week, my Customer Reward points (200 or 20 free cups)? Gone! Today I learned all my info had been deleted. Gone! I called the barista on the probelm - customer service has imploded and you're effectively stealing from people. Rather than solve the problem or explain why my points had been deleted, the manager was rude and refused to serve me. I was good for 325 cups/yr x $7 = $2,275 a year. Over the past 9 years that's nearly $21,000. No more! They lost my business for good. My money spends anywhere. read more

So this is probably my first one star review in a while, maybe ever. Came here for a lavender vanilla iced chai with oat milk. Usually I come here when I get a gift card from someone since it's so expensive her. Starbucks by my house closed so here I am today. Normally I order a large 32 oz lavender vanilla iced chai tea with oat milk and that runs me right under $9. Today I asked for a medium, looks like a 16 oz, and it cost me $9.61?! That is ridiculous. There was also little to no interaction while I was at the window and I'm irked they handed me their transaction machine asking for a tip. I asked for a pup cup for my dog and they didn't give me that either. I don't understand how a drink half the size is an extra $1 than what I normally get. These baristas are slow and inconsiderate. I waited in line for 14 minutes. Three cars were in front of me but the line didn't move. When the window car finally left, the girl taking outside orders was chatting with the second car, not taking an order, but joking about something that was apparently hilarious so they couldn't move up. They chatted for another 3-4 minutes and the car behind me gave up. I left shortly after. I'm now late for work and have no coffee. The freya shop manager Lily is absolutely amazing and I enjoy seeing her in the mornings!! She always greets me by my first name and asks about my Great Dane and current baby on the way every time I see her! She makes me feel very welcomed and I have enjoyed this location for YEARS. The get at the window seemed to be bothered to be doing their jobs. We were asking questions about dairy free options and she seemed extremely annoyed that we wanted to know if their whip cream was dairy free and that we needed a few moments to decide. I am not in Spokane often but I always come to wake up call for a tiramisu latte and they removed that flavoring from the menu. Wake Up call strikes me as a combination between a drive-through coffee stand and a Starbucks, with a modest British theme. The interior and branding are slick and composed in a way that remind me of Starbucks (eg consistent color/design scheme, screen menus, uniformity) as opposed to a funky, indie coffee shop with a chalk menu and mismatched furniture or a hipster pour over coffee bar with paragraphs describing the beans. The British theme I called mild because it is evident in some of the decor (the giant phone booth shape of the dine-in area, the names of the 4 or 5 house specials) but it does not govern everything. In fact, I suspect most customers orders have nothing to do with the British theme. Another notable feature are their long hours, my primary reason for stopping in. They open at 4am six days and at 5am on Sundays. I dropped friends at the airport at 4:30am and this was the only indoor (ie not solely a drive-thru) coffee shop I could find open at that hour on a Sunday. My visit started shortly after 5am and I stayed about three hours; I was the only dine-in customer during that time. There was a handful of walk-in to-go customers and a steady stream of drive-thru customers on both sides of the building. I sat at a small table with its own outlet and got a lot of work done on their internet. I ordered the Double Decker, which is a mocha with "real peanut butter." This is not gourmet coffee, but it was a good specimen for a flavored drink. The use of "real peanut butter" as opposed to peanut butter flavored syrup kept it from being too sweet. read more

I never thought I'd miss coffee until I moved to the west side of the state. Starbucks is nothing compared to wake-up call. Every time I go to Spokane, I make sure to stop by for a strawberry shortcake. One thing I can guarantee is that you'll have consistancy with every order. My only negative comment is that they havent opened up a franchise in the Puyallup area! I'm sure they've heard my rant in other reviews I have posted lol. If this was my area of expertise I'd really consider my own franchise in this area. read more

Our family loves wake up call! We recently moved to the south hill and frequent this location every week day on my way to work. I don't know what it is about this location but holy smokes there is no customer service what so ever. I've had multiple basic drinks messed up and when trying to bring it up they treat you like garbage. I get work can be stressful but it shouldn't seem like you are absolutely miserable and like you don't care about your customers. read more

Be clear on your order when going through the drive thru. I asked for a white choc and peppermint americano triple shot and was given a soy frostbite instead. I had gotten a soy frostbite from a previous venture there for a friend, its not that big of a deal as they then tried to correct it since I was confused about being handed a soy drink. They then made a regular frostbite instead of as an americano. The girls were nice and I just went on my way since they were busy. Just be aware that previous orders show up when you give your phone number and to be clear for them when requesting your drink preferences. Now I have 2 milky drinks I don't want haha. read more

We order here all the time, About 4-5 time a week at least and we love the drinks and the quality! But as far as the service we ordered the last 4 time we haven't gotten what we asked for which is very unfortunate. -we always ask for cream and received none every time sadly -we almost never get straws with our drinks either which im not sure if thats on your end or something else but regardless we shall be trying the Pines location from now on. read more

This place is so slow they are always backed up out into the street. I am surprised someone has not died yet, and on top of them being so slow they will get your order wrong pretty much every time. I am so disgusted with this company! I used to love them but for some reason (probably greed) they switched jalapeño bagels to some cheap nasty Albertson's brand. The previous bagels were soft and loaded with jalapeños and had cheese on top. I believe they got them from Lilac City Bakery. I tried the new Albertson's bagels several times and they just don't compare. Today I received a hard, overly toasted jalapeño bagel that had 1 1/2 jalapeños on it for $5.13!!! I took it back...never again. I wish I would have taken a picture of it with one and a half jalapeños and burnt cheese sprinkled on top. Wake up Call...you totally disappoint me once again. You used to not order enough jalapeño bagels and every time I came they were sold out (because the previous bagels were amazing). I used to come through several times a week for the past few years. Stopped at this place to get some personal admin stuff done as I'd been on the road with limited access. Noticed they had inside seating and wifi, so gave it a shot. I'm boring and just ordered an Americano, though they have all sorts of drinks available. The americano was a little weak for my taste, especially compared to their competitor a couple of blocks down. Personal preference probably. This place can get really loud inside. I thought Starbucks was loud. Between the blenders, a staff who clearly like where they work, it was really really loud. I've lived in Spokane for 2 weeks, worked as a Barista for 2 years and let me tell you...WakeUp call is superb! The staff are friendly, outgoing, freaking quick (no one that I saw waited longer than probably 2min for their order). Very clean lobby (especially the bathrooms), small lobby but plenty of seating when I went. I've been to both locations and ordered the Nitro Cold Brew. Get it. Smooth, crisp, very well balanced and has the consistently of a stout beer. It's for sure my go to drink. And get this, they offer refills. WHAT?!? By far the best drive through coffee shop I've ever been to. WakeUp call, you guys know what your doing and you do it very well. Check them out! Also, they have a great selection of food, pastries, and a HUGE selection of drinks. If you're looking for a quick stop for coffee or need a bite to eat on your way to work. Swing by either location. the staff was very friendly and service oriented. The coffee was ok, I was hoping for a richer bolder coffee.

Asked for an Iced Caramel Macchiato with caramel drizzle around the cup. Barista had such a attitude and took forever making the drink. When I got it she didn't even look at me, was just faced the other way waiting for me to grab it. I looked at the drink and couldn't even say this wasn't what I asked for because she wasn't even paying attention. Basically payed for a latte with such light ice and all the caramel sauce down at the bottom not even mixed with the milk. $5.70 for a drink I didn't even ask for. Horrible service. I'd give it 0 stars if I could read more
