Pulled Pork bbq sandwich, garlic butter fries, mac n cheese

Pulled bbq pork sandwich dry with zero bbq sauce and hardly any coleslaw, french fries soggy, mac n cheese tooalienate dry with no cheese NOPE! Not authentic bbq!

We ordered the Mac and Cheese Bowl with a combination of the pulled pork and brisket. Since I like rice (Of course since I am Asian), I had my partner get half rice/half Mac and cheese. The Mac and cheese taste more homemade which is how we like it. The meat though is a little dry without the BBQ sauce on it. I wish we got more BBQ sauce on the side. They do give you a lot of meat though which is a good thing. The service is great. Price is reasonable.

Very solid choice at this food court! It's located next to Mahaloha and Mini Monster Cafe on the 2nd floor of the Royal Hawaiian Shopping center, in the main food court. Kiosk ordering - awesome. Love the efficiency of ordering and it was extremely simple. The employee was also very helpful and pleasant. Menu is extensive but not too complex. We got the Brisket Loco Moco and the Brisket Street Tacos. The loco moco was very good. Peppery, smokey, and perfectly not too sweet. A decent portion and generous gravy. The tacos were awesome. The brisket is crazy good! The meat is tender and smokey. The tomatoes on the side were OK. Wish it was more pico de gallo style as it reminded me more of lomi salmon without the salmon. But it tasted fine with the tacos. Honestly, this is the most solid choice in the food court besides fast food. The portions were great and the prices are justified! For what we got, I think we got our money's worth. I believe they are related to Teddy's, Tex's and Tio's - all solid restaurants so I'm really not surprised they opened up another gem, but also, you might be able to use the app to order and/or get points. If you're in Waikiki, highly recommend this place for a quick meal that's affordable, and tasty!

    Small coleslaw. 0/10.

Y'all gotta be kidding. How are you gonna charge $12 for French fries and then be hella stingy with the portions? I know it's Waikiki, I live here and I'm used to it, but this is egregious. Potatoes are practically free. And that coleslaw is wildly bad. Couple bites of what is basically just mildly rancid cabbage. I'll admit, portions were good on the meat and the mac. Brisket and pulled pork were acceptable, mac was mediocre. Overall, mid and over-taxed. Do better.

And boy were we both blown away (so much so that I believe she returned the next day with others!). The menu had been completely revamped and seemed to take on a more local influence while still being very upscale. Since we both enjoy "sampling" we shared two appetizer and a main. Everything was bursting with flavor! This is what we had: Starter salad from the seasonal menu of watermelon, strawberries, blueberries and greens served on a bed of yuzu infused goat cheese and drizzled with a shiso chimmichuri sauce. Yes, bursting with flavor! I would return for just this dish! Next shared was a tempura battered cauliflower served with a robust curry and yogurt reduction. Deeeelicious. I wouldn't say we licked the plate... but I won't deny it. Hahah. Finally shared the seafood in curry soup (think a lighter version of laksa) served with white rice on the side. Holy moly. No words to describe. Portions were generous enough to share still next time, I won't. That memorable you won't want to share. No longer serving volcano black rolls, tho absolutely serving amazingly wonderful dishes. Volcano black pancakes still available at breakfast. We kept on oooing and ahhhing and asking about the chef. Our servers Gale and Lily, who provided the most awesome service told us "Chef Lance" (as he is affectionately called) moved over from the Mariposa (Restaurant in Neiman Marcus) over a year ago. Further research revealed Chef Lance Kosaka has brought experience from noteworthy restaurants: Top of Waikiki, Merriman's, 53 By the Sea, and most recently Mariposa. I am hoping he will bring in a notable creme brulee that I loved at both the Top as well as Mariposa! Not wanting the deliciousness of Chef Steve's cooking to end, I also ordered a warabi salad to go for the next day. It was...just as wonderful as the other dishes we enjoyed. Thank you to Servers Gale and Lily, Chef Steve, actually...the entire staff who elevated a casual evening of dining to be a most memorable experience! Thank you to sister friend Karen who insisted we dine here, for the most wonderful company and meal. Validated parking in the building accessed on Seaside. Validated for either 2 or 3 hours depending on the promotion. Kamaaina discount of 10 percent given. Will we be back? Absolutely. And I won't wait so long this time to return!

When our party first walked in, we were a tiny bit skeptical because of the empty room (which was beautifully decorated). However as each course came out, we were blown away and didn't know how the restaurant was not way busier for a Saturday night! Each dish/course was well thought out and prepared to perfection. We were all taken by surprise in a great way. The head chef Anthony was very passionate and excited about his work and that was very refreshing! Overall a wonderful experience and we will be back!

Haha! * Pina Colada Granita - the perfect palate cleanser! * Pan-Seared Scallops with Corn Béchamel, Polenta & Fresh Relish: Amazing texture and flavors. Scallops were super fresh and cooked to perfection. * Double Cut Rack of Lamb with Charred Savoy Cabbage & Miso Red Wine Sauce: I was thiiiis close to licking my plate. Super YUM! * Lemon Crème Brûlée Tart with Summer Berry Jam: There's nothing like pairing lemon and berries... but to brûlée the top, oh man!! And as a special treat, we even got to pre-sample the dessert for the upcoming November menu - such a sweet sneak peek of what's to come! + Hint: Favorite Local Snack. Never thought id find another place similar to K & M Drive Inn when it comes to cheap bentos but…read morethis place has em! Its a few cents more expensive and the portion feels just a tad bit smaller but its still one hell of a deal. Lately I've been coming here after seeing some insta videos and I've been hooked on their omelettes. The price for their breakfast plates and Omelettes are very good and they open very early "0430". They serve both their lunch and breakfast menu at open but i havent tried their lunch items yet tho seeing from pictures ahhh def gonna try em before i Judge em. They also ask to preorder a day ahead if you want more than 5 Bentos. Cashier always friendly and just like K&M they tap the no tip option before asking you to tap your card A+ on that. They have a tip jar for cash tips if you want to. I though i should mention this too but just like K&M their spam and sometimes their other breakfast meats in the bento just have a weird funk taste to em. maybe its a different brand? Unsure so I dont get them as much any more but if its actually bad im sure someone would have complained or gotten sick. I had their spam omelette and it tasted just fine. So very weird.

Breakfast is served all day and the prices are extremely competitive compared to their pricier neighbors. I decided to go with the hamburger steak plate for $11 but added on roast pork for a 2 item combo which added an additional $5.... Which caught be by surprise considering the hamburger was a frozen patty most likely bought from Sam's or costco The stars I'm giving is for the portion size...I was highly disappointed with the servingo the roast pork I added to my plate, it was literally like fewest amount of shredded pieces, now I know roast pork isn't the most expensive thing to make, so a decent portion would have been nice. I know it's a little on the cheaper side for plate lunches but I feel like that should hinder on the portion size. The service was fast and friendly and the store itself is a tiny spot good for grab and go breakfast and lunches. I might end up giving them another shot but we shall see.
