Unfortunately this was the worst Chinese take-out I've ever had. My husband and I wanted to try a new place local to us, as we always tend to order from the same spot but shame on us for doing so I guess because this place really sucked. While customer service was very nice, and the order was delivered quickly, somehow our food was barely warm, and lacking flavor. We ordered a staple item, being the sesame chicken. How can you possibly mess that up? Well they did. The sauce was tasteless, and the chicken had so much batter that there was barely any meat in it. Really such a shame. Chinese at the mall food court tastes better. Even Panda Express tastes better and I thought they were the worst! I DEFINITELY do NOT recommend this place. Nor will we be wasting our money here again. Mama Food and Chef Wangs have never done me wrong, and I guess they really are the only good places in the area. read more

I don't know what to do anymore for good Chinese Take-out. Its one thing to have good take-out...its another to have a choice between the lesser of two evils when wanting to order. I ordered here last week for the first time. I will say that I was not entirely disappointed, but I wasn't jumping to save the menu for next time around either. If I could give a 2.5, I would, but again Yelp just has not given that option yet. First off, let me start by saying that the best local chinese food i've had in VS was Kim Wong, which burned to the ground (not literally) a few months ago and has not since re-opened. Very disappointing. That being said, I am in pursuit again for edible chinese food in Valley Stream. I found a place up on Hillside Ave that was amazing, but will leave that for another review as it is way too far for a quick Friday night pick-up for take-out. Ok, General Tso's...way too sweet, no spice. Hot and Sour Soup: Eh...One piece of tofu, Mushrooms...holy mushrooms they put those things in EVERYTHING!!! Not that great. Not bad, just not great. Shrimp and Garlic sauce...just eh...not enough flavor, very watery sauce. Bland. Chicken wonton soup...bland. Wah-Luck Dumplings: I had a piece of bone in EVERY dumpling...seriously it was like they strategically placed a piece of bone in every dumpling...maybe someone doesn't like their job too much. My parents and I decided to order Chinese we had recently moved to FS so we didn't know of any Chinese places around the area so I decided to google Chinese restaurants and they happened to pop up on search and we decided to give them a try... Firstly they took FOREVER to make the delivery... Secondly the delivery man came I handed him his money and a tip .. He looks at his tip and says, " that's it? That's all you're giving me 5 dollars?" I was surprized that he answered me that way! Excuse you ? I'm giving you a tip! 5 dollars for a 2 min drive down the block seems pretty darn reasonable to me... How rude ! And unappreciative of him! Food was okay, but my biggest complaint is that I had to ask the delivery person more than three times for my change back. Yes I intended to tip the man so I don't know what he was worried about, but I should not have to ask for my change. I already had his tip in my hand so I don't get what the problem is. I as a customer should not have to ask for my change more than once, it should be given to me back automatically. Then when I got my change he shorted me a dollar. I did not notice this until he was already gone with my tip money and the extra dollar in change that I was owed. All I can imagine is that this delivery driver is doing this to many people in the back of my mind and ripping people off. That is seriously not okay and this person probably doesn't have a lot of integrity. I have been eating Chinese food all my life, I have yet to find better! The quality is always the same which is a big deal when it comes to local Chinese restaurants. The kitchen is very clean. In the past I have even made bets with friends that they make the best lo mein. I have yet to lose. As a vegetarian, I can only vouch for a few choice items, but I trust Wah Luck and my family has been ordering there for years. Scallion pancakes are great, fried rice and vegetable lo-mein are also delicious. Right from the start I knew this place was going to be awesome. I followed this restaurant from their old location on Hempstead Tpke. to it's new location 2 blocks down and still quite satisfied with the excellent quality of the food as well as their friendly staff. From the dumplings to the Triple Delight, the food is always consistent and tasty. The delivery people are usually on time and always throw in a free bottle of soda or two, which is a friendly gesture as well as a great way to the business. My family loves this place and we will continue to eat here, even though there are quite a few choices of Chinese takeout in the area. . .just not as good ! read more

Not the best Chinese food in Franklin square but it's not terrible. The fried rice was bland, egg foo young gravy was chicken gravy but again not awful. If you want good crab rangoons go to jasmine house! Gave a free two liter soda though which was nice. read more
