This is the second longest standing chinese spot on Uniondale Ave . Its probably the cleanest. The food is okay gets the job done some what. Wings are okay ...rice is pretty good, egg rolls are fresh...never sit in oil at all. The people who work ther are nice to the locals so their business is fine in my book. I've lived in this area for about 10 years and have frequently ordered from this restaurant--it's always been my go-to for Chinese takeout. However, my recent experience has completely changed how I feel about this place. Two days ago, I walked in and ordered General Tso's chicken with white rice and a side of fried plantains. When I got home and began eating, I discovered a bug in my food. I immediately stopped eating and called the restaurant. I was told to bring the food back for a refund. I brought the food with me to work the next day and stopped by the restaurant. I paid $24 for my order, but the woman at the front only gave me $14 back and told me I could leave. What followed was beyond unacceptable--I was met with blatant disrespect and hostility. The woman began yelling at me at the top of her lungs, and two men came to the front and also started screaming at me. I was completely shocked and disturbed by how unprofessional and aggressive their response was. After being a loyal customer for years, I am truly at a loss for words. This experience was not only disgusting due to the bug, but also traumatizing because of how I was treated when I calmly tried to address the situation. No one should ever be treated this way--especially not after something as serious as finding a bug in their food. read more

The previous management had an issue with stealing credit cards and the new management seem to have fixed that issue. You know how they say that NY bagels are the best because there's something in the water...welp for me there's nothing like New York City aka Brooklyn Chinese food. When I moved to Uniondale, I couldn't find a "cheap Chinese" place that just hit the spot UNTIL NOW . This did it for me! The fried rice is a hit or a miss. Order really late and I think you should expect it to taste like day old rice ‍. Otherwise, chicken taste great and broccoli is fresh and the ice tea is perfect! This restaurant is a disgrace, place is falling apart, food is mediocre and the skinny Chinese lady at the front desk has a nasty attitude. I ordered food by phone and the lady told me it would be ready in 20mins. I arrived to pick up my food 25 mins after and my food wasn't ready, all fine til she made me wait another 20mins for the order I had made on the phone 25 mins ago, she had the nerve to tell me that my time is not important and that they had many orders? But she told me 20mins?? How is that my fault? Plus she didnt even apologize with sincerity. I am not ever ordering food from this place as the food is eh! and the place looks like is not well maintained plus the back of the restaurant looks like they got some kind of infestation. I am staying away from this place and I would advice others do the same if you don't want to deal with disrespect as the lady at the front seems to treat everyone with an attitude as if everyone's hard earned money doesn't matter....I am taking my money somewhere else. read more

Love, love, love this restaurant! I always order delivery from here through Uber eats & their food is always tasty & the portions are great. Their steamed shrimp dumplings are always cooked to perfection & taste great. You don't even need the sauce that comes with it. The fried chicken wings are also tasty & delivery is fast & packaged nicely. This is my 4th time ordering from here & I'll definitely order again. Hopefully soon! read more

Also 10$ minimum on card if it's below the price they Charge a extra 50¢ nbd but my 7.75 order turned to 8.25 fast and idk I ain't like that. Ordered orange chicken and it was okay but when you bite into the meat it was mostly batter and not a lot of chicken. So I felt little robbed BUT it's Chinese food Made quick and without your tastebuds in mind. I love the BBQ chicken wings w plain fried rice from here or French fries w sauce on the fries. I don't like calling to order food because the lady who picks up never could get my order right she calls back to reconfirm and still gets it wrong so that's something they gotta situate. Been going here for years. Pan Fried Shrimp dumplings are 10/10. Chicken wings (fried hard), delicious. Shrimp lo mein, delicious! Broccoli in garlic sauce, Delicious. A few months ago the kids took over... they now accept credit card, are on Uber and have upgraded the restaurant. read more

Oh my lord... Misled by Yelp! I ordered dinner from here last night. Shrimp fried rice, Chicken wings, pork dumplings, cheese wonton. Epic fail. The rice was disgusting. Fried rice with shrimp and onion. No flavor, no bean sprouts, scallions,etc. Also, about half of the shrimp weren't deveined! So yes people... shrimp poop everywhere! The cheese wontons were okay. Not good. My daughter only ate 2 or about 10. They were super tiny btw... not what you usually get from the Chinese restaurant. The dumplings were the ABSOLUTE WORST! I couldn't have imagined it to be any worse. I saw these reviews raving about dumplings so I had to try it. So much dough around the questionable meat. These definitely weren't the usual dumplings. The dough was so thick and tasteless. There was some brown sauce leaking out onto my blouse with every bite. Just nasty. The wings were good. I'm not even a wing person but I have to give them that. I don't know what the heck they put in their food but the headache is REAL. I have such a bad headache and I know it's from this place and the food. People think I am exaggerating when I say this, but this place truly does have the GREATEST Won-Ton soup in the world. I always get won-ton soup wherever I eat Chinese food just to be sure, and so far this place is the lightyears ahead of everyone else. The lady at the front is very sweet and helpful, and the rest of the food is also incredible. I definitely suggest this place to any other in the Hofstra area. read more
