The food here is fantastic and always piping hot. Everything is good here; boneless spareribs, eggs rolls, any kind of soup, dim sum, everything. It's also always ready in 15 minutes like they say. No matter what you order, it's ready in 15 minutes. I'm giving 3 stars because the woman who answers the phones and hands you your bag of food is so rude, it's incredible. She hangs up the phone before you're done speaking and never says thanks. If the food wasn't so good here, I'd stop ordering because of her. I decided to try this place because I had never been before and I wanted to try a new place for Chinese food. As a native New Yorker, I've had my fare share of Chinese takeout. By far, this is the worst Chinese food I have ever had. I ordered a half a chicken with pork fried rice and got three (very tiny) pieces of chicken. The "pork" was almost absent completely. The chicken tasted like rubber. My jaws literally are in pain from eating it. I got through one of the tiny pieces and I couldn't eat anymore. No crunchy, crispy skin, no juicy, thick meat. For "half a chicken" at almost $8, this is a joke. The rest of my order (a $33 dollar total!) was terrible. Customer service was terrible! I mean, granted I don't expect much from Chinese takeout, but we walked in and waited to make the order and then the lady said "you have to call!" So we literally walked outside and called. We were put on hold for 10 min then she aggressively took our order. My 14 year old was making the order for us and I could hear her over the phone saying "WHAT ELSE?!" after everything he said. I call to kindly just get a refund and the women on the phone refused to do so after Repeatedly telling her that we don't want more food. On the hunt for an new regular Chinese delivery spot and my first time ordering here was a bit of a mixed experience with good and not so good elements. Things I like about this place You can order online with or without a credit card. They show you on the map the exact delivery area for the restaurant. Delivery came earlier than promised. Prices are very good and the portions are generous. For example you get 8 steamed dumplings for $4.95. Most places I've seen had 6, or they were more expensive. Besides typical Chinese dishes they also offer a few Thai dishes, but perhaps not as many as a Thai restaurant. The rice was very good, nice and sticky yet fluffy Things I didn't like so much The crispy noodles were stale The wontons and dumplings were a little too "doughy" for my liking. The dipping sauce for the dumplings lacked flavor The Chicken Massaman ratio of liquid to solid ingredients was way off - making this almost a soup with the lack of chicken and potatoes. General Tsos was a little over done and the sauce was a bit on the sweet side - could have used a little more heat to balance the sweetness. Overall I would say my experience was more towards Clark Kent than Super China. It gets the job done, but perhaps not in the way the name of the place implies. read more

I spend more money here than I'd like to admit. While food is really good and delivery quick, I am getting seriously fed up with the woman on the phone who takes orders. She is rude and impatient EVERY TIME! If you should pause to ask a question, or heaven forbid , modify your order, you can hear her almost exaggerated huff and puff, even her getting loud. She's like the 'Soup Nazi' from Seinfeld. I don't mean for this to be funny, it's really not. When a customer has a question about YOUR menu, you should be able to answer patiently. I completely understand, I get it, they're busy with calls. However, without customers, they'll have a lot more time to work on their people skills. Last thing I need after a long day, is to stress over ordering food and then giving my money away to a seemingly unappreciative business. I appreciate that Super China has a few Thai offerings. The Panang Curry was solid. However, the crab rangoon appetizer left something to be desired. It was mostly dough and very little filling...and the dough wasn't light and crisp, so not very enjoyable. I asked for extra spicy General Tso's chicken, but it was almost sweet with no heat at all. Found this place while searching for a new Chinese delivery place. Unfortunately, even though Yelp's delivery features says that they deliver to me, I'm definitely outside of their delivery area. Their own online ordering website lists delivery up to 2.5 miles, and I confirmed this by calling the restaurant. However, everyone on Yelp loved it so I had to try it out, and a pick-up order was placed. Everything here is pretty solid, but not perfect. I really love the chicken with broccoli; the brown sauce is thick without being gooey, and the meat is cooked well. It is probably my favorite chicken with broccoli in the area. The accompanying rice is sticky and not dry, which I also love. Boyfriend likes the general tso's chicken, and likes that the combination platters come with plain pork fried rice made without egg. The appetizers are good as well, but not as good as the entrees. The dumplings are very doughy, as Mike S. has pointed out. The meat is wrapped by a very substantial layer of dough, and it's a little overwhelming. The scallion pancakes are delicious but sometimes are laden with grease. The crab rangoon isn't too laden with grease, and the stuffing has a nice flavor, but there isn't enough of it. Overall, I really like this place. I just wish it was a little closer so I could order more often. read more

Maybe because they have a boost in reviews but they have an attitude, impatient on the phone and their food began to lack- not sure if management changed. They used to drive to my area with no problem then all of a sudden said no- clearly they can see that I've ordered delivery many times in their computer system- but nope. And when they did decide to send a delivery guy my way- I checked my bill and noticed a small delivery fee without any notice beforehand. I'm sorry but if you are charging me for delivery then the delivery man shouldn't be looking at me for an additional tip. And when you don't give a said tip- the driver literally curses you out in his language. Completely messed up. Found a new spot closer to me and their food is 10000x better. read more

I was in search of Chinese food during the pandemic so I resorted to local chat rooms. Many people recommend Chef Wang on Jericho Tpke. I tried it and it was terrible. Super China was also recommended and much closer to my house. I ordered online....selected pick-up option versus delivery. They called me to confirm that it was indeed pick-up versus delivery which I thought was an impressive start. I also indicated some special requests on two of the items.....and they honored those. I saw all the great reviews here on yelp and decided to try this place to satisfy my Chinese takeout craving. The food was as the reviews claimed! It tasted fresh and delicious! What's more, it wasn't overly greasy and didn't taste like it was dumped with msg! My boyfriend and I ordered scallion pancakes, roast pork buns, singapore mei fun noodles, and general tso's chicken. Yummy!!!! The only thing I didn't really care for was the roast pork buns...but I'll let that go as this isn't a dimsum place anyways. Otherwise the food was great--great taste and great portions!
