    WAGWEAR black boots

    I loved my visit to the WAGWEAR boutique on East 11th st. The sales girl was friendly, most knowledgeable about their product line and specific fit and she gave me her utter most attention. I purchased my first pair of WAGWEAR boots for my pup and he has been wearing them ever since!

    I was very disappointed with my experience at wag wear. I recently moved into the city and brought my two dogs to get fitted for their own boots. Upon arriving, the door was locked and there was not one single person working. I saw a little sign that said someone would be back within 15 minutes. I ended up waiting well over 25 minutes before a staff member showed up...The interaction with this staff member was very short as it seemed like she wanted me out of the store asap. On top of that, I realized that the actual boot itself was low quality and thin. Be aware of the fact that your dogs nails on the side may tug. Within five minutes of walking, my dog was whimpering and licking his paws. I would like to factor in that his nails are trimmed often. So, over grown nails is not the issue. It is clear that he was feeling some sort of discomfort and pain. I plan to return these boots... wag wear is not worth if people!

    My Brittany dog , Bonnie is pear shaped. It's cute but finding clothes for her can be difficult. She's a large in width but medium in height and length. Wagwear is where it's at for dogs like her. It's a cute shop with several sizes and fits of coats or sweaters. The sweaters look beautiful with cable knit designs in all sorts of colors. But I was shopping for a winter coat for Bonnie. The saleswoman was amazing at finding the perfect coat. We tried a few coats in different sizes and the saleswoman considered not only the best size but my dogs comfort. It's a bit pricey as the coat I chose for Bonnie was 75 but it will last many cold winters. It's worth her comfort !

    I really really wanted to love this brand, but there are definitely things that need to be improved. Our first experience was in the flagship store in NY on June 25th 2021. The door was locked (during business hours).. I can't remember if we rang a doorbell or just knocked, but we had to wait for someone to come and unlock the door. I thought this was very strange that we couldn't just walk in during business hours. When the young girl opened the door she welcomed us, but went straight to the back to sit down and browse her phone. I had questions and had to call her from the back area where she was sitting. I wanted to purchase wag wellies and custom bags for my large pups. We are new to NY and have seen other NYers fashion large ikea bags with 4 holes in the bottom so they could take their dogs on the train (There's a rule that your dog must be in a bag to ride the train) . I explained to this to the girl and asked if they would be able to customize a bag like that for us. She said they do customize bags and proceeded to give us a tape measure so we can get measurements from our dog. She wrote everything down and we paid for the order. After having left the store, I realized she didn't give me my credit card back. I had to walk back to the store and the credit card was still in the machine. Fast forward to over a week later, with no email confirmation of "we are working on your order" or anything of that sort I get a phone call from the manager of the store Vivian. She told me the girl had made a mistake to take the order of the custom bag and she didn't know what she was doing. I think that the girl... I forget her name, but if you look at the cameras for the afternoon of June 25th, you will know who she is... needs more training with customer service, being more attentive to customers, watching the store a little bit better, keep the doors unlocked for customers to not have a hard time to come in and learning what the company does and does not do. This experience did not sit well with me. As for the wag wellies, they are super cute!! I get stopped just about everywhere in Manhattan and people ask me where I got the pup shoes from. They even ask to take pictures of my pups in the shoes! They stay on very well! There was only 1 instance where one shoe slipped off, but luckily someone let me know so we didn't lose the shoe. My Golden wears size large and she does fine wearing that same size on all 4 paws, but my lab mix got a size XL and after trying it out for some time we realized that her front paws didn't fit the XL size and we needed to get a size up. Unfortunately they don't mix and match sizes so if your pup has different sizes you'll end up having to purchase 2 separate sizes which will run you $100. I ordered the XXL size on June 8th and didn't receive the order until June 22nd. There were issues with the size and color i ordered but I was not notified. I messaged the company twice and did not receive a response to these messages until AFTER I called the store and spoke with Vivian. She was apologetic, but again this was not a good look for the company. When I opened my order I realized they sent me the wrong size! Again another issue... They sent me XL instead of XXL... I messaged Amy Harlow which I believe is the owner of the company and she apologized and told us we could keep the set and she would get the right ones mailed out. The right Size came 2 days later on June 24th. Today is July 30th, and after having my pups wear the wag wellies daily, unfortunately they did not hold up... the bottoms wore down and there are holes sadly. These shoes didn't last long, but I truly love the design and wish they were more durable. I'm hoping that maybe the owners will see this review and try do something to make the shoes more durable. We haven't had the shoes long at all. :-(

    Wagwear has a great line of coats and leashes. They manufacture in NYC.

    Took 3 weeks to receive and overpriced for what you get. Customer service was hard to get a response from and no one replies to DMs.

    Bought a brown sling bag for my senior pup. She loves every minute of being in it. The bag is super cute and well constructed

    Tazz knows so incredibly much about pet nutrition and goes above and beyond for her clients…read more My dog PJ had been suffering from chronic acid reflux for years. After doing a food intolerance test I found he was intolerant to hundreds of ingredients and couldn't eat any commercial food. He also wasn't keeping home-cooked meals down. I was at a total loss before consulting with Tazz. She knew exactly what PJ needed and completely turned his health around. She gave infinite amount of advice during our first appointment for both food and lifestyle products and talked well beyond my allotted time. I am also impressed by how responsive she's been to my follow-up questions. PJ is now healthier than he's been in years. I recommend Tazz to anyone whose pet is struggling with nutritional issues or who's just looking to improve their pet's health. Thank you Tazz!

Even then her knowledge of nutrition was amazing.. and her thirst to learn more and more . It never stops I always asked questions.. what to feed which holistic products would help this or that, which doctors or practitioners. Sometimes too many... and Yes! she is very direct (see Malena's review). Extremely knowledgeable and intuitive too. I have referred her to many who have been very happy. I run a rescue and work with special needs dogs.. She has helped with so many Nutrition is so very very important to pets health and you will get the best advice here. It can be life saving. I really trust her.... always have
