I love the Ribs here I have never tried anything else on the menu because the ribs are just amazing. But they do have wings fries and sometimes homemade desserts. We were visiting Bremond and my sister mentioned getting some rib tips. I don't get ribs but I saw that they had fried chicken wings so I got a wing basket. The prices are very reasonable for the amount of food to get. I got maybe 6 or 8 wings, fries, a slice of bread and a bottled water for $10. My sister got fried ribs for $10. I didn't expect the wings to be battered. They looked good. The fries were by far my favorite part. They were fresh, hot, crispy, and well seasoned. The wings were seasoned and crispy as well. But they weren't made fresh to order. Had they been fresh and hot they would've been even tastier. But it was nice that we got our food quickly. The lady taking our order was super sweet. She stands outside to take your order. It looks like they may have some outdoor seating. They also had a port o potty if desperate times are calling for desperate measures. Wow. Wings and ribs. Small shack in Marlin, it's a really quick stop off highway 6. Love the batter flavor. The seasoning on the fries is awesome. Dipping in hot sauce tops it off. Not greasy at all, I believe a sign says they use soy oil. Who doesn't want a happy tummy??? read more

I was so excited to tatse this meal due to the exposure it received from bigdawg.tv. Another IG blogger that overhyped the quality of a restaurants food. I drove almost two hours for something I could have prepared in my own kitchen that would have had more flavor. The establishment is corky in appearance, very reasonable in price, considering the portion size. The staff was truly genuine and friendly. Everything was lacking seasoning for my liking. Yes, the flour was hit with a hint of salt and pepper, but that was mostly the flour. The fries were overcooked and extremely hard. To be honest, I couldn't even eat them. The wing to rib ratio was off as well, due to the fact the meal only came with 3 wings. With the rest being rib bites, not true fried ribs. The only thing I wish I'd purchased more of was the tea cake. Now, whoever made that knew what they were doing. OmG...it was light and airy with a hint of cinnamon and sugar. Mannnn...the best two dollars I sent all day. This spot may be cool for the locals in Marlin or those driving from Waco, but it's not worth the drive if you live more than one hour away. After being let down by two other Marlin establishments, we ended up here. We pulled in the drive thru behind about 3 other cars. A nice lady came out & took our order...3 wing & rib combos with fries & a drink. About 15 minutes later, we had our food. It was hot & fresh & the grease did not taste old. After reading reviews, we stopped in Marlin specifically to try the fried ribs & wings. There is a good amount for your money and the people were nice. We called in the order, as suggested. Glad we did, as they were getting ready to close and it's so non-descript that we passed it on the corner by the freeway and went a ways before swinging back. The ribs & wings were ready and tasty, but the rib bone cuts were a little different from what I'm used to. It was a bit greasy for my tastes, but had good flavor. If you are passing through the tiny town of Marlin, definitely stop by here. The gentleman that runs this place is incredibly nice and even offers a sample before you can even ask to try something. Basically, fried ribs and wings taste exactly like you would imagine. You get a good amount of food for what you pay. Luckily, he keeps it simple by keeping prices nice and rounded. Bring cash only, it's much easier that way. UPDATE-- my second visit was much more stellar, the batter on the ribs&chicken was much more flavorful than the first visit. I was coming from Abilene on my way to Houston when I decided that I was in the mood for Bar-B-Q. Looked all over town and finally found Wagon Rib and Wings. Don't let the look scare you off, it stays in business because the food is great. It's super small and when I was there it was being run by an older husband and wife team, both super friendly. I told him I wanted and slice beef sandwich but he said that all they had was fried chicken wings and fried ribs. I was about to move on when he gave me a sample of their ribs, I could not believe how good it was. The coating was crisp and the meat tender and juicy. While this might not be listed under health food, if I'm gonna die I want to die with one of their ribs in my mouth. Great food great people. read more

Terrific little place. Spotted it as we turned East from 6 onto 7. Deep fried ribs were just plain yummy, and they piled on the food. We ate at a table under a tree in a cool breeze. The staff was also very friendly, so much so that we felt kinda like family. Retiree and delightful lady Dorothy came over for a nice visit!
