Base before start nice they have map of different trail routes, free pamphlet exact routes, and nice warnings for bears. Thankfully not cross one. lol. We started with the group cause different loops some intersect but most start base loop. Some parts single track but most part all pretty wide. I love taken care of see pine tree fell over they cut it down clear the path. There even few bench saw chill and soak up nature. Busy trail runners, walkers, bikers, and groups. The owners are very attentive, which I appreciated with our small dog, however, there was one dog that was obsessed with her. She would not leave her alone and she did not get a chance to pee. The owner was great and kept trying to redirect her dog, but her dog must've still been a puppy. We pooped and got the hell out of Dodge.

If your dog doesn't play well with other dogs, take it to another park that has different sections and work on training your dog before letting them run rampant while you just say, "He's more bark than bite." Not funny. Other than this, I used to LOVE this dog park. If you maybe get lucky and run into well behaved dogs, this place is small but fun with a beautiful view of Golden and the mountains!

My pup and I live in NoCo so it's a bit of a drive for us, but I love taking her to new spots so she can explore new places and scents. I'm glad we made the trek here to check it out. We visited on a Monday around 1pm and there was plenty of parking available; It's also free to visit! There's a couple portapotties at the entrance and spots to grab some baggies if you forgot them at home. It's an open natural area so there's signs at the trailhead with warnings of rattlesnakes and coyotes so keep that in mind as you're exploring to keep an eye on your pup. We stayed for about an hour and she loved every minute of it, but it was a really windy day so we called it a day earlier than anticipated. I'm thankful we spent the afternoon exploring this beautiful area together.

Dress warmly through April Dogs are smiling while scampering greeting other dogs. People are smiling while walking or speaking to other dog lovers and how wonderful this park is! With lots of balls rolling on the ground. Great features: there is running water throughout the year. This is a "Locally Held Non-Profit Dog Park" with people who are designated via volunteering, cleaning up, adding bags, ""Donation Drop offs (PLEASE DONATE)"" Fencing and equipment checked regularly. The city of Arvada ran water lines through the multiple watering fountains. Lots of bowls to be filled and cleaned (please!) Anyone may volunteer through the non-profit or simply help clean while your dog/s are happily running off and playing with other dogs. There are many informative signs for everyone's protection including your dogs! Please adhered to them. Easy entrance way for two large fenced off parks with multiple covered sitting areas, some with running water and LOTS OF DOG BOWLS, please consider cleaning. Many leave their dog-leads on the entrance fences, there are 3 gates to bring your dog into the area, one to take off the lead and prepare to enter the huge running area where people are smiling - saying hello- and walking briskly as a workout.
