My wife and I had some time to kill at the train station waiting to go to Brussels so we figured dinner was a good idea and Wagamama was where we decided to go. This restaurant is pretty massive, looks really nice, and even offers some nice views of the water from one side of the restaurant. The menu? It's got you covered with all the noodle dishes your heart desires as well as a ton of drinks and sides to go with them. I was feeling pretty hungry so I decided to go with the bulgogi teppanyaki so I could get a nice mixture of meat, noodles, and vegetables. The food didn't take too long to come out and we both agreed our food was alright. Nothing in my bowl had anything stand out about it and the best I could do is give it a thumbs up and say that nothing was and it was solid enough. Overall, Wagamama was solid for train station food and I have no real complaints about the place. The food was decent, the place itself looked nice, and the staff was friendly as well. This place is a safe bet. read more

Convenient location in Centraal Station near the canal. Ask for a table near the windows facing the canal. There you can people watch and view boats traveling the canal. Food service is quick. The overall lighting is a bit dark so reading a portion of the menu is challenging. Otherwise the food is tasty and presentable. read more

Wagamama is a chain, and this location lacks its own restroom, requiring you to go outside to a paid toilet. I got a table quickly, which I appreciated, and the service was efficient, allowing me to enjoy my meal without hassle. It's something I've found difficult at other restaurants. However, the noodles were soggy, so I'd recommend trying a different type if they offer it. The ambiance was okay, with large tables available for bigger groups, which is a plus. There are spots with a view of the water and it's conveniently in Central Station. read more

Thinking about my awesome previous experience at the London airport, I visited this place for lunch immediately after getting down from the train from Schiphol Airport but this place miserably failed in all departments of a restaurant - food wasn't that great, service was terrible and cleanliness didn't exist! Servers were very indifferent and almost rude bordering on racism though they also appeared not from here and having migrated from other countries! Much needs to done to spruce this place up for a better image it has in other countries! Location is simply fantastic and facing the North Sea as we can see it touches the restaurant! But for that one thing, nothing else to write home about. I won't go again! read more

I am not sure why this restaurant is called Wagamama, and what exactly does that mean? At the Amsterdam Centraal station, there are a bunch of eateries and shops at the bottom level and after we were finished with a long day of excursions and other activities, we decided to quickly eat here before catching the train back to our hotel. My kiddos love Japanese cuisine, especially sushi and ramen and they saw some photos and signs outside the restaurant, that arose their curiosity. I knew right away that I wasn't going to win that battle. As the restaurant was closing in approximately 30 minutes, by the time we arrived I told kiddos to quickly get some ramen and no exploring the menu. They still went ahead and ordered beef skewers for appetizers, beef teriyaki with rice, and couple of chicken ramen. The beef was finely sliced and more on the rare side when it was served as appetizer. The beef teriyaki was good. It was flavorful and easy to chew, tender and the rice gave it a good compliment. Lastly, the chicken ramen was good too. The broth was seasoned well. The chicken was flavored well and the entire dish was to my children's liking. read more

I felt they drop the ball on the menu. Big mistake to change up the original menu and replace the original cooking staff. I use to love coming in here for dinner, but now it's just something to hold your tummy for the moment. The soups are very disappointing. Don't bother ordering them as a meal. Customer service as far as the server --is ok but could be better. Manager seems very professional, despite the menu being somewhat disappointing to me. The station gets super busy, so they are on top of it when it comes to managing the busy crowd that comes through. read more

Wagamama - Pan Asian Near Me - Amsterdam, New Hampshire

While in Amsterdam, my friends and I met up with some locals in search of a place to eat at inside the Amsterdam Centraal Train Station. Since it was King's Day, a lot of places were closed or full because people had already made reservations in advanced. We came across this Asian joint that had immediate seating and specialized in ramen/noodle type dishes. This was perfect since it was a cold and breezy day. Majority of the folks in my party ordered ramen while I decided to order a beef noodle dish similar to "chow fun" which is a Chinese noodle dish. My food tasted just ok only because it was on the much greasier side so I'm rating it 3/5. Service left much to be desired here. Not only did the server mess up on another person's order in my party, my dish was the last to arrive when everyone had already gotten theirs and were basically done eating by the time I got my food. To top that off, the server hardly checked up on us throughout the meal. The only highlight of the meal honestly was dessert. They had Vietnamese coffee flavored ice cream which was creamy and surprisingly pretty good. Maybe the server was new hence the lack of attentiveness and order accuracy? All I know is they're good for their desserts but the actual food entrees quality is questionable. And someone help me understand why the restaurant is named "Wagamama"? read more

Absolutely good best ramen I have ever had and best pork not only that but it has the best service ever

This branch of Wagamama is located in Central Station in Amsterdam, being familiar with the Wagamama chain as I'm from the UK, where they have 3 branches in the city centre of Manchester (my hometown) alone, I expected good things. Wagamama is quite small in the Netherlands, with only a handful of branches, four of which being in Amsterdam. Upon entering, I had good expectations for their gluten-free selection so I asked for their menu, I was surprised to be handed a long allergy guide instead, it did appear to be in dutch but most of the vocabulary was okay and easy to understand. My main issue with this isn't just how hard it was to find out the choice of being in a large book rather than a simple, quick menu which I'm used to at Wagamama in the UK but it was the condition of the book, it was wet, greasy and sticky and really not very pleasant to touch. Most of the items seemed to contain gluten anyway. The staff members didn't seem too helpful, they basically passed me the book and let me get on with it, rather than helping me and talking me through the menu and allergy guide, which would have been helpful. I've had so many cases during my time in Amsterdam where looks have totally deceived me, something or somewhere which looked nice, turning out to be far from it, despite looking modern and cool from the outside, the service, cleanliness and gluten-free selection here is so bad that I sadly feel Wagamama at Amsterdam Central deserves a one-star rating. read more

Today June 6 is their 2nd day since they've opened up. People have yet to find this spot, so it wasn't crowded at all. Consequently the service - albeit friendly - was - after I was served my curry - slow, they're chatty, which in the end is so much better than grumpy stressed out staff. The AC was however doing overtime, although i had my jumper on i was freezing (ok i was a bit cold). I had the vegetarian curry (yasai), my usual pick, and a japanese beer. More than I can handle, but worth it. I feel like walking it off. It remains a feeling that is slowly fading, being lazy helps ;) All in all, not much to say other than great added value to Central Station: foodwise, opening hours, service. Will be back! read more

Super rude and racist waiter. Seating other customers arrived later before us. Plenty empty tables but seated us in the conner. And refuse to change table upon request. My mom is not fluent in English, and the waiter answered her questions with very sarcastic tone. End up leaving the place. Do not go to this place, as no one deserve such terrible experience. Do not let it ruin your trip. I'd give negative if there is an option. The restaurant owns me an apology, and they should really pay attention to who to hire. read more

For a chain, this place is really good! I came here with two friends after a long train ride and we enjoyed our food. As always, Wagamama delivers excellent food, made quickly, with great service. I had a lovely, delicious dinner at Wagamama! They got lots of variety in their menu. I chose my personal favourite: Wagamama Ramen (nr. 21(?)), Spicy Squid and Wagamama Pork Ramen. The place is nice and the service is great, but the food is just okay. My fried chicken tastes like it was refried. The rice tastes like it was made hours prior and just sitting in the cooker overcooked. Just go to Albert Heijn and warm up the food you buy there and you'll be good to go. read more

My friend and I stopped on our last day in Amsterdam to satisfy our ramen cravings and to rest our feet. We did not know what to expect, but it turns out that shop is well-decorated, comfortable, and has great service. The waiter nicely explained the menu to us and served us in a very timely fashion. The food portions are large, which is great if you're hungry. I feel that the ramen could have had more toppings; it was lacking in texture because there was not much variety. But overall it was still delicious and we were happy that to find a ramen shop like it in the Netherlands. read more

Great food and very tasty. The service was really good and staff were friendly. Prices were reasonable.

I had the Wagamama Ramen. The broth was so salty, it was basically inedible. Husband had Katsu and it was only 3 very small, over fried pieces of meat with a ton of white rice. Meal was very expensive for the portions. read more

We went there yesterday for breakfast - first and last time. I ordered the vegetarian okonomiyaki, my girlfriend the regular one with meat. Our waitress even specifically asked the chef which of the dishes was which (their kitchen is open) - then we started eating. A few bites in, I wonder why mine tastes funny and my girlfriend tells me that they seem to be quite stingy with the meat. The plates were swapped! I almost threw up. When we told the waitress, she looked honestly upset about their mistake and she took my dish off the bill. As we left, we saw her storming over to the chef... The dishes themselves make it impossible to tell the difference, if it wasn't for the fact that the garnishing was different. So to be frank, it was an honest but very avoidable mistake. One I am not willing to forgive, unfortunately. read more

Came here after our train from Paris. It was a gloomy afternoon and Japanese soul food seemed like just the right thing. I ordered the duck gyoza and chili ramen with chicken. Both were very flavorful, and the chili chicken actually had a decent kick to it. I felt that it was kind of expensive though. The ramen is around 15 and the gyoza around 7. So not really a cheap place in my opinion but I was definitely happy with my choices! Had a nice view of the harbor area as well. read more

Was really skeptical because of the amount of stars but I really enjoyed this place. In America, ramen broth is usually super heavy and oily. The broth for the ramen was delicious and light. Of course, I wouldn't count their ramen as authentic ramen. It's more of a cross between pho and Chinese noodle soup but I thought it was pretty decent. The ramen came with plenty of veggies, the portion was big, and the dish was not overly salty. Very filling without making you feel gross and oily afterwards. Great service and they reimburse your bathroom ticket at the train station. read more

I'm a Wagamama customer for 15 years, but I will not return after today's experience. I ordered glazed pork ribs, which should be served caramelized. They were served black and looked burned. But they were fine for me if they were just not burned. I tried several pieces and they also tasted really burned. Some had quite a big burned layer. So I returned them at the counter. And then another waiter came to me and told me that they should be like this. Quite rude if you ask me. And you can tell me a lot, but I know how food should be cooked since I'm a pretty good cook. Instead of offering me another portion of pork ribs, the waiter asked me if I wanted something else. So I ordered fried chicken. And he asked if I knew what I was ordering. I was like: Seriously? read more
