Pumpkin soup with enocki mushrooms, cucumber, duck and pomegranate seeds
Juliane D.

Delicious and casually elegant all at once. Located in a quaint farmhouse out in the middle of hoofddorp, it is well worth the trek. Service was spotty but the food was delicious. Wine selection is very good. Perfect for large groups and events

Pinot Noir, Caesar salad, frites with house-made mayonnaise and the wonderful steak tartare. Bon appetité!

Maybe I'm just floating in my jet lag but this place has been absolutely amazing start to finish. I came 7ish on a Friday by myself. Gorgeous seating looking out onto the fields and near the garden they use for fresh veggies. After procuring a glass of wine I wandered around the outside. While the flight path of the airport is near, it couldn't dampen my appreciation for the outdoor area. Lots of nature to look upon as you enjoy which made the meal even better as you feel "part of the place" instead of being in a restaurant. Being single and not hungry I got the steak tartare, side fries and side Caesar. Fries were on-point with a delicious mayonnaise that must've been made in the kitchen. Caesar was good but kind of de-constructed with big chunks of egg and some lovely anchovies. Not my favorite style of Caesar but still packed with flavor. The steak tartare was amazing! It was the perfect amount of food for me and every bite was delicious, sometimes the crunch of the fresh chives stood out, sometimes the pickled onions made an appearance, sometimes the capers. Each bite was gorgeous. Finished with an espresso. Delightful, especially the treat that came with that tasted like a Danish Butter cookie made into a spongier treat. WOW...

I've been to this restaurant a couple of times for dinner as its pretty close to my work place, so this is a combined review of multiple visits. The restaurant is located in a converted farmhouse, beautifully done up and you absolutely need to make a reservation to come here, as they get super busy. I was told that the Chef is from an ex-Michelin star restaurant, but wanted to downsize and heck yeah, we reap the rewards when he made this decision, cause I can sum up this place in 4 words: Excellent food and service! Honestly, my recommendation is to get any of the fish dishes. They are beautifully cooked and just the right amount of protein to carb and veggies ratio to make you full, without feeling stodgy. So far I have had the Catch of the day, which came with this amazing langoustine sauce and then also the Pike Perch, which had crispy skin that was so good! Also recommend getting a basket of the Chips on the side cause the ones here are awesome-sauce! The Duck Liver dish too has been unctuous without any gaminess coming thru in the taste. Drinks are on point and I also got some great ginger tea - it was very fancy with a pick thru chunky ginger pieces. Also the desserts are light as air - had the Mille Fuille and it was pretty darn good! I want to also give a shout out to one of the servers, Madeline is super sweet and gives great explanations of the food. But everyone I have encountered has been indeed very friendly. Definitely plan to keep coming back. Yelp 197/ 2018

This restaurant recommended by my assistant in Chicago, and I stopped here on my first night in after traveling back from New Delhi India. I was pleasantly surprised at the ambience and the beautiful decor of Den Burgh, but what was really exceptional was the quality of the food and the wait service. I really enjoyed eating here! My order of ribeye was perfection medium, tender, with a prawns garnish: a delicious touch. The wait staff was attentive, not obtrusive and detail oriented. I thoroughly enjoyed a quiet dinner at 5:30pm on a Tuesday night - the restaurant became noisy and crowded after 6:30pm. Den Burgh is a great, reasonably priced restaurant near Schiphol Airport, its menu is highly recommended, worth taking an Uber out from Schiphol to experience it.

Had dinner this time. Great weather so the aperitive outside was good, remember thought that being right under the airport runaway you do not hear much birds twitting :) The food was great. Stake tartare was super. Ribeye good. Coffe as earlier. I just downgrade to 3 for the very long wait for food to get on the table. It was a bit too long. Over all great food.

A very nice building set in the middle of an office block and airport vicinity. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Went for lunch, it was quite busy and (I'm told) it's difficult to get a table usually. I went straight for the Australian Beef, a juicy, well-seasoned and nicely cooked cut of fine meat. My guests had soup or a fish and broth soup that I'm reliably informed was "very good". Overall and good visit and I'll book again.

Extremely good. The rissoto was extremely good, white asperagus was awesome, I highly recommend eating here
