If you are reading this, your search for dog training stops here. This is the place you need and…read morethey will change your life! This sounds a little over the top BUT I'm not lying. I tell our trainers Katie and Nicole all of the time that they are life savers. We brought our puppy here at 1 years old - a small wild, energetic Jack Russell who knew every time I was on a video meeting to bark his head off and embarrass me EVERY TIME! Walks were out of the question since he would pull on the leash to the point he would choke himself... sitting on the deck was a nightmare in our own backyard because he would bark at the wind (yes, the wind), the leaves moving, the birds and obviously the neighbors. Does this sound familiar? I questioned my decision of getting a puppy and then I found Max K9. We did a 3 week Board & Train where I was super hesitant of dropping him off (because no one wants to leave their baby anywhere), but they were so good with sending video progress and pictures and including my husband and I in the process. I joke with everyone that I think they implanted a program into his brain! Lol! The transformation was unreal. We were instantly able to communicate with him and actually go on a walk.. outside in the real world. What a breath of fresh air, literally! Max K9 has given us the ability to live an active lifestyle and have our pup enjoy it with us. Hikes, traveling, morning walks, trips to the store, brewery visits, long car rides out of state... you name it. I would do it all over again if I had to without a question. So if you've made it this far, thanks for reading. I hope this helps you make your decision to having a better relationship with your pup and enjoying life with them every step of the way.

I am SO thankful for Sherry at Maximum K9. I don't know if I can put into words how helpful she has…read morebeen in training our Stormie. Stormie is a rescue who we adopted in 2019 and underwent 2 surgeries in 2021 due to bilateral CCL surgery. She was cooped up for an extended amount of time during recovery. We were unable to take her outside without her reacting to other dogs and sometimes even people. Stormie even gave us difficulty when we wanted to go for a short walk. It was so frustrating and difficult taking her out in public that we needed help. We have heard of Maximum K9 from many of our friends and even the great reviews I've seen on dog groups and online. I called to inquire about the types of training (group vs. individual) and it was clear that we needed to take private lessons. We signed up for a package of 6 lessons with Sherry that were one hour long for 6 consecutive weeks. Our first day, Sherry got to know about Stormie's behaviors - positive and negative, what we were having difficulty with and what our goals were. Sherry worked with us each week when training Stormie (and me) on how to modify or progress a skill. We learned how to heel, which we never were taught from another trainer elsewhere, and the importance of heel. We were given homework on what to practice from the training sessions to continue our work outside of the facility. Sherry helped Stormie become less dog reactive in a safe manner at Maximum K9. Stormie was slowly exposed to the board and train dogs in the facility that had various levels of size and temperament. Each week, Stormie learned how to follow her commands and not react to different dogs. With Sherry's consistent training, Stormie was able to heel with me in a circle with other dogs and sit next to them without any reaction at all. I cannot find the words to thank Sherry for helping Stormie and myself. I came into Maximum K9 with Stormie trying to pull my arm off and reacting to dogs in the lobby to now leaving with my arm back intact and her in a nice heel. I will refer all my dog lovers and friends to Maximum K9 and Sherry going forward! Thank you again!

I have grown up with dogs my entire life! I have always wanted to have my dog become a service dog!…read moreI purchased my puppy, a Yorkshire terrier the day after I put my 12 year old yorkie down because I was heartbroken. Selina at the time was 11 weeks ago and weighed 2.8pounds! I immediately contacted Donna and within two weeks, we had our first consultation with Selina at 13 weeks. Donna took the time prior to meeting baby Selina by speaking to me on the phone and via text. I felt the immediate connection and knew this was the perfect fit. When Donna arrived to my home to meet Selina, they had a bond that was super special unbreakable bond that is hard to explain . Donna is beyond professional and skilled at what she does! She has A natural gift and every time Selina hears her name or voice, she looks and will not leave Donna's side. I have to admit was nervous and a bit overwhelmed becuase I wasn't sure how I would get Selina to do what Donna did each session. Dogs know that Donna is the best around and immediately give her eye contact with or without treats. Donna not only trains your dog, but trains you to be the best canine parent around! Donna allowed me to tape each Session, and practice with Selina. Donna is positive yet firm and her love and passion is poured into each session. She is the best of the best around. Fast forward, Baby Selina is now 9 months old and and full trained where she is ready to go it to phase 2 of service training once CoVID-19 numbers are down. Get ready because donna opens your eyes to a whole new training to give your pup the best life. Selina is Beyond obedient because of the guidance, support and training that Ms. Donna had provided to me! I honestly am I awe and living my dream with Donna by our side. I promise you by hiring Donna you will see within One minute her passion, and the bond she will create with your pup! Donna is always there for you! Donna is a dog whisperer! Hiring Donna is a life saver and I promised you will not be disappointed. In fact, you will each session with more love for your pup. Whenever we pick him up, we always hear about positive interactions and despite him being very upset going he always seems happy when he's picked up. I along with several other pet parents did late pick up. Highly Recommend

Absolutely the Best Place I've Ever Taken My Dog - 10/10 Experience!…read more If you're looking for a place that will treat your dog like family, look no further than Cozy Noses. I cannot express enough how grateful I am to have found this facility, especially for my unique situation. I have an almost two-year-old Belgian Malinois named Athena. She's incredibly smart, loyal, and protective--but she also has a history of extreme aggression, which makes finding a safe, understanding, and well-equipped boarding facility a real challenge. I was going out of town for just under a week and had no friends or family available to watch her. Naturally, I was anxious and stressed about where she could stay, especially since I'd had bad experiences in the past with places that didn't understand how to work with dogs who have behavioral issues. After doing a ton of research and getting referrals from family and friends, I came across Cozy Noses, and I'm so glad I did. From the very first phone call, I was met with nothing but professionalism, kindness, and an honest willingness to help. I probably called them four or five times before even dropping Athena off--asking everything from what vaccinations were required to whether her specific needs could be accommodated--and every single time, the staff was patient and thorough. They never made me feel annoying or bothersome for calling so much. That alone gave me a great first impression. I let them know up front that Athena has had incidents of aggression in the past and that she should be marked as "do not touch" or "do not approach" for safety. The staff took this very seriously, and they handled it with so much professionalism and care. On the day of drop-off, the process was smoother than I could've imagined. The kennel was freshly cleaned and ready for her, and the environment felt calm, organized, and welcoming. While I was away, I called in regularly to check on her--and not once did I feel like I was being a burden. The staff was always ready to give me updates on how she was doing, what her temperament was like that day, and whether she was eating and resting well. They truly catered to her individual needs and made the entire experience stress-free for both of us. Knowing she was being looked after by such competent and compassionate people gave me complete peace of mind. By the time I picked Athena up, I could tell she had been well cared for. She was calm, clean, and seemed surprisingly at ease considering her usual behavior in new environments. I was absolutely blown away. This facility is clean, organized, and clearly run by people who genuinely love animals and understand their needs--especially those with more challenging temperaments. I truly believe Cozy Noses went above and beyond for us. I now have complete trust in them and wouldn't hesitate for a second to bring Athena back in the future. If you're a pet owner--especially one with a high-energy or reactive dog--you know how hard it is to find a place you feel safe leaving your fur baby. Cozy Noses is that place. I cannot recommend them enough. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! -- Hailey & Athena
