I would strongly caution anyone considering this dog training program…read more While the person who initially set everything up was very friendly and seemed knowledgeable, the actual training experience was extremely disappointing and concerning. The trainer who worked with my dogs appeared inexperienced, and the results were the opposite of what was promised. After several weeks in the program, both of my dogs came back worse than when they left. One of them was noticeably underweight because they were so anxious they wouldn't eat. That alone should never happen in a professional training environment. I also learned that they were being kept in an apartment with children and other dogs and were kenneled for most of the day. This is not what I expected when I paid over $5,000 for what was supposed to be professional, structured training. This was a very upsetting experience, and I regret trusting this program with my dogs. If you're considering sending your pets here, I strongly encourage you to ask detailed questions about who will actually be training your dog, their experience level, and the daily living conditions. I would not recommend this program.

When I…read morebrought him home, he had major separation anxiety, and I was concerned about his behavior around other people . I contacted several certified dog trainers, and they all told me that there was no hope for this type of behavior- that's just the way the dog is. They wanted to medicate him. I found Wag Mates and spoke with Bianca and expressed my concerns and she said they could absolutely help me! Luke entered a six week board and train program and they assigned Carlos as Luke's trainer as he specializes in separation anxiety and aggressive animals- Carlos picked Luke up and he provided videos of Luke's training every step of the way-Luke finished his training and was returned to me this morning. Luke is a completely different dog. He is full of confidence & so obedient. I am so glad I chose Wag Mates and they chose Carlos to be Luke's trainer. He actually trained us both. He went above and beyond. I needed a crate for Luke and no way to pick it up-Carlos picked it up for me and installed cameras for me in my backyard. He addressed and handled every single concern I had! I highly recommend Wag Mates!

If you are reading this, your search for dog training stops here. This is the place you need and…read morethey will change your life! This sounds a little over the top BUT I'm not lying. I tell our trainers Katie and Nicole all of the time that they are life savers. We brought our puppy here at 1 years old - a small wild, energetic Jack Russell who knew every time I was on a video meeting to bark his head off and embarrass me EVERY TIME! Walks were out of the question since he would pull on the leash to the point he would choke himself... sitting on the deck was a nightmare in our own backyard because he would bark at the wind (yes, the wind), the leaves moving, the birds and obviously the neighbors. Does this sound familiar? I questioned my decision of getting a puppy and then I found Max K9. We did a 3 week Board & Train where I was super hesitant of dropping him off (because no one wants to leave their baby anywhere), but they were so good with sending video progress and pictures and including my husband and I in the process. I joke with everyone that I think they implanted a program into his brain! Lol! The transformation was unreal. We were instantly able to communicate with him and actually go on a walk.. outside in the real world. What a breath of fresh air, literally! Max K9 has given us the ability to live an active lifestyle and have our pup enjoy it with us. Hikes, traveling, morning walks, trips to the store, brewery visits, long car rides out of state... you name it. I would do it all over again if I had to without a question. So if you've made it this far, thanks for reading. I hope this helps you make your decision to having a better relationship with your pup and enjoying life with them every step of the way.

We were having trouble trying to help him adjust from living in the south on a large property to living in a one bedroom apartment with cats and a smaller back yard. We were set up with our trainer, Jim, he educated us on how to handle Keiko properly (from basic obedience to different enrichment), build a better bridge of communication and help with his confidence. Our last session Keiko even decided he was going to try one of the obstacles from maximum K9's agility course (no prompting from us) shocking both me and my fiancé. Safe to say Keiko loves Maximum K9 as much as we do . Since our training we have been able to do so much more and get Keiko better involved in our activities (which we know he loves). They also have so many great treats, toys, and training tools for those at varying levels in their store portion.

Absolutely the Best Place I've Ever Taken My Dog - 10/10 Experience!…read more If you're looking for a place that will treat your dog like family, look no further than Cozy Noses. I cannot express enough how grateful I am to have found this facility, especially for my unique situation. I have an almost two-year-old Belgian Malinois named Athena. She's incredibly smart, loyal, and protective--but she also has a history of extreme aggression, which makes finding a safe, understanding, and well-equipped boarding facility a real challenge. I was going out of town for just under a week and had no friends or family available to watch her. Naturally, I was anxious and stressed about where she could stay, especially since I'd had bad experiences in the past with places that didn't understand how to work with dogs who have behavioral issues. After doing a ton of research and getting referrals from family and friends, I came across Cozy Noses, and I'm so glad I did. From the very first phone call, I was met with nothing but professionalism, kindness, and an honest willingness to help. I probably called them four or five times before even dropping Athena off--asking everything from what vaccinations were required to whether her specific needs could be accommodated--and every single time, the staff was patient and thorough. They never made me feel annoying or bothersome for calling so much. That alone gave me a great first impression. I let them know up front that Athena has had incidents of aggression in the past and that she should be marked as "do not touch" or "do not approach" for safety. The staff took this very seriously, and they handled it with so much professionalism and care. On the day of drop-off, the process was smoother than I could've imagined. The kennel was freshly cleaned and ready for her, and the environment felt calm, organized, and welcoming. While I was away, I called in regularly to check on her--and not once did I feel like I was being a burden. The staff was always ready to give me updates on how she was doing, what her temperament was like that day, and whether she was eating and resting well. They truly catered to her individual needs and made the entire experience stress-free for both of us. Knowing she was being looked after by such competent and compassionate people gave me complete peace of mind. By the time I picked Athena up, I could tell she had been well cared for. She was calm, clean, and seemed surprisingly at ease considering her usual behavior in new environments. I was absolutely blown away. This facility is clean, organized, and clearly run by people who genuinely love animals and understand their needs--especially those with more challenging temperaments. I truly believe Cozy Noses went above and beyond for us. I now have complete trust in them and wouldn't hesitate for a second to bring Athena back in the future. If you're a pet owner--especially one with a high-energy or reactive dog--you know how hard it is to find a place you feel safe leaving your fur baby. Cozy Noses is that place. I cannot recommend them enough. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! -- Hailey & Athena

However due to health concerns and my dog now being a senior and needing medication I was concerned how he would fair this time. Cozy noses accommodated his special needs and always updated me on his status. I was able to add an extra day at the last minute with no problem. When I picked my dog up he was in good spirits and had no adjustment issues afterwards (upset stomach, agitation, change of appetite). I am so thankful for the care and service Cozy Noses gave my special boy over the years and especially now as a senior. Their prices are reasonable and add on services like a bath is always a treat. I strongly recommend Cozy Noses to any pet owner looking for outstanding and personalized care for their dog.
