This is a great spot for classic diner food with awesome service and great prices. Come with a group and squeeze into the booths, and eat your hearts out! They have so much to choose from on their menu, whether you're not super hungry and just want some eggs, or if you're ready to conquer the Iron Man Challenge and destroy some shit. I found that the Iron Woman breakfast was the perfect amount of food to get me through a moderate hike and tide me over till dinner time without putting me into an immediate food coma. True to their name, the waffles here are awesome. But everything else is great too! The hash browns are especially good (ask for them to be fried extra crispy), the bacon is thicc, and it all comes out super fast with some of the friendliest service. My friends split a Sasquatch breakfast and I snagged a piece of the country fried steak and can verify that it is 10/10. Same goes for the eggs benny. You seriously can't go wrong here! read more

Initially went here bc it had great Yelp reviews and of course, I wanted waffles! It was so much more than what I expected!! Staff was amazing, great atmosphere, very inviting, and above all else, the food was extraordinary!! Yum Yum indeed . Had breakfast here since we were staying next door at the Days Inn, wasn't expecting much but the breakfast was actually really good! And that's coming from a person that doesn't typically eat "breakfast" food. I would eat here again, good prices and really good food. The staff was quick and friendly. As far as classic American diners go- 5*. Service is good food is great. I had a plain Belgian waffle with whip and couldn't eat much more. It's not in the best neighborhood but it is probably some of the best classic American breakfast you are going to find anywhere! One of Yakima's hidden gems of a hole in the wall. Love it! read more

Well I listened to the advice of one of the reviewer here to bring our own rug, I brought a wet ones instead and the tables was really sticky even if they have cleaned it already so I wiped it with my wet ones and after the table dried up. it was still sticky, so I think it's the table, maybe they used some kind of wood stain or something coz the other person beside us complained about ihis table being sticky too. Anyway, the food was excellent, it's just too much, maybe next time I will get the senior meal. I feel so bad that I only ate quarter of the food in my plate and if we dont have to go somewhere else I will bring the 3/4 food I left in my plate but we have to go somewhere else. The service was past and the waitress checked on us many times to refill our drinks and asked if we need anything else. All in all the experience was good and we will probably be back if we are in town again. Hubby ordered Meatlover scramble which he said is very good I ordered Country fried steak, and it was very good. read more

As we were checking out of the hotel we asked for suggestions for breakfast, Waffles Caffe was suggested so off we went. Talk about going into some sort of time warp. I seriously felt like Marisa Tomei in My Cousin Vinny. The table we are seated at had leftover pancake or waffle crumbs on it and I just couldn't bring myself to sit down until someone came and cleaned the table which finally happened while everyone in the dinning room was staring at me. So being the obnoxious person I am I said in a louder than a whisper "sorry I'm a city girl I don't sit at dirty sticky tables." There were lots of items on the menu to chose from I wasn't sure if I wanted to try their waffles or pancakes but GBF#1 reminded me we were going to go to Essencia* to pick up a sweet before heading home so I went with a ham steak and eggs. It was huge but it was good. I forget what GBF#1 had but he liked his too, we were both happy even though I had to stand up like three times to let people get out, it was a tight fit back there and wheel chairs and walkers can't fit around chairs and apparently only city girls are kind enough to stand up and move out of the way for those with walkers and wheel chairs to get through. I would definitely come here again for breakfast, I'll just bring my own rag to wipe the table so I don't make a scene again. * We walk up to Essencia and find out they too are closed for Labor Day weekend so I didn't get my sweet after all. :( WTF is up with Yakima places being closed over Labor Day weekend?!?!? read more

It's always tough when you assign stars to a place like this. The food is not on par with breakfast in Seattle or another large city....but I don't expect this place to compete with "local 360." I ordered the chicken in a bisket. Fried chicken breast smothered in gravy served in a biscuit. There was nothing particularly inspired. Typical diner white sausage gravy. Fresh baked biscuit. Crispy fried chicken breast. It was good...better than expected even. The service was outstanding! In truth, I can't justify a 4th star. I feel a little bad though. It is what it is.
