It was my first time trying this place so I went safe but let me tell you, I will definitely be back to try alllll the things!! The server working was amazing. He was kind, knowledgeable and accommodating! He answered all the questions we had (the company I was with had never had Indian food). The ambiance was small, quiet and intimate. They have only 9 tables so call ahead if you are planning a bigger group. BUT they are in the process of expanding to a much bigger dining area!! Which will be much more accommodating!! The food was AMAZING. It was so delicious and perfectly cooked! I cannot wait to come back and try more delicious dishes! Definitely worth stopping in and giving them a try!

The food was so delicious and the service was even better. Our waiter was so patient and explained the menu and how to eat the food we chose. He even checked in after we tried our food to make sure the spice level worked for us. Such a great place with great staff. 10/10 so so yummy!

Love love love! I've been passing by and been wanting to try and stopped in for lunch just for a bite and the food was amazing! The food was so flavorful and the portions were pretty large that we had leftovers. The chicken korma we got as hot and the cashew base seemed to mellow it out but it was so flavorful and delicious. Not pictured was the homemade mango kulfi, this was sweet but so refreshing. The Gulab Jamun was very delicious but verrrryyy sweet! the cardamom syrup was very strong and rich. The salmon was cooked to perfection! it was crispy outside but still moist inside. the rose(water) lassi was sweet with a light hint of rose but had a nice bitter tartness from the yogurt base. The chai was sweet yet very flavorful and fragrant. Overall the staff so super helpful and informative on the food. The food itself was outstanding and this may just be my new Indian spot for town.

Phenomenal place in the heart of Yakima. I moved away in August and really hope to return soon. The place is fantastic. I have been here twice so far and the food is top-notch. I always have the Chicken Coconut Curry. They put onions and peppers into the curry sauce, and the chicken is always tender. The naan bread is DELICIOUS!!! The restaurant is small - yet the quiet Indian instrumentals and the scenic views of the country on the televisions provide a relaxing atmosphere. Well done crew, I miss this place dearly.

I've been to so many Indian restaurants throughout the u.s and this one is pretty mid. The butter chicken and tikka masala is very bland, was lacking flavor. The cheese naan was great though but the cheese is very subtle, but overall good texture and good portion size. The rice was also a generous amount but it tasted like sink water to me. The platter sampler was $12 and all you get is 4 small pieces of meat, not worth it in my opinion, it was good though but overpriced. We probably won't be coming back. Taj Palace is the best Indian restaurant in Yakima.

Chicken tikka masala, palak paneer, plain naan, raita and the included rice.

We've ordered to-go from India House several times, but I wanted the full experience of the food…read moreand ambience inside, so I ordered the Mixed Grill--lamb, chicken, shish kebab, and shrimp--all marinated in Punjabi spices, and served over grilled onions, bell pepper and other vegetables. The portion size was more than two meals--yes, I took more home than I ate (see the pics). Punjab, in the NW area of India, bordering Pakistan, is semi mountainous and part of the largest region of goats in the world, and other farm animals. Tandoori style cooking is famous and all of the meats are represented. But the cream based Masalas of Delhi, and the simmered Vindaloo dishes of the southwestern India coastline are featured also. The owners of India House, Manoj Kumar and his wife, Deepika Dhawan, opened their first restaurant here in Wenatchee in 2013. Since then, they've expanded toward the Spokane and Coeur d'Alene areas for a total of six locations. Theirs is an incredible success story, centering on dishes from all over India. Based on the quality of the food and breadth of traditions represented, India House rivals the finest Indian restaurants in Seattle. Walk in the door, and the high-class decor is a tip-off. This is 5-Star dining at its best. (full disclosure: I'm an experienced chef, but I'm not associated with this business in any way, other than as a customer.)

The staff were attentive and helpful. Overall, it was great! Even our three year old ate a plate. If I had a minus at all it was the fact that the naan was on the buffet versus brought fresher to the table, but honestly, very minor. Definitely will be back!
