My wife and I have waited months to see this place finally open up as we both love Indian food and wanted more of it in Yakima. Bottom line: we were quite happy with our experience this evening. The building is small so it limits their seating inside, and they might be a little ambitious with the number of tables, but as long as you're okay with being close to your neighbors it shouldn't bother you much. The waitress was very nice and never let our water glasses run dry. The food was delicious and tasted fresh. I had the Lamb Tikka Masala and my wife had the Chicken Curry. We both liked the tikka masala sauce more than the curry, but the curry was still good. The portions are average and we left with full bellies. The Garlic Naan was very good as were the Vegetables Somosas. We will definitely be going back often. read more

I ordered the vegetable curry and it was delicious! All entrees come with basmati rice, I also ordered the garlic naan! soooooo yummy! Beautiful ambiance in a a small and cozy restaurant. The waiter was very kind and friendly. I went with 2 friends and we all enjoyed the food. Great service and there is a large selection of vegetarian options, which I love! Severao items on the menu had a symbol by it to let you know which items are gluten free, dairy free and/or vegetarian. A variety of options with meat, such as lamb, chicken or beef. It was delicious, wholesome, and filling. It came with a beautiful salad of cucumbers, tomatoes, onion, cilantro, and light lemon and gentle spice, which is a wonderful way to start the meal, aiding digestion. My first time to this restaurant, I ordered take-out. While the curry I ordered tasted great, I was mystified as to why it was mostly sauce, and just a small amount of chicken. I just ate here with my family and it was delightful. Altogether, we tried the mixed vegetable pakora, garlic naan, butter chicken (mild), chicken korma (medium), and the lamb tikka masala (medium). Everything was delicious and came out quickly. Both medium dishes had a bit of spice but were still pretty mild. As someone who enjoys slightly spicier curry, I will go with hot next time. They were happy to bring extra rice and checked in on how the food was a couple of times. The restaurant is small and the tables are a bit crowded, but it felt cozy. The atmosphere is nice, with good quality cloth napkins and wine glasses. At this time, they only have soda, coffee, and tea (and maybe lassi?) but no alcohol, pending receiving their liquor license. I highly recommend this restaurant. As big fans of Indian food, we're happy to have a great new option in Yakima! read more

We had gotten out from a three day conference and it was almost closing time. They offered to make our food to go, but upon seeing that we had a pregnant lady with us, they welcomed us to dine in. They were so kind to accommodate our party of seven. The food was absolutely delicious. The tikka masala was on point and the paneer and garlic naan are both a must. Our host was gracious and friendly and encouraged us to take our time. I regret that I did not get his name. If I lived in the area, I would definitely be a regular at this establishment. It's a chill lil place but they've done good with the limited square footage. The name doesn't lie -- the flavors are excellent. You can tell the staff has a good sense of heat and spice as the mild - medium - hot system has so far always been just right. I love both of the daals on the vegetable menu, but the tandoori chicken stands out as my favorite. Even the onions it comes with are so flavorful.
