Came in for dinner advertised their BBQ which is hard to find in this state. Worst food I've ever had. The pulled pork was dry and hard, the brisket as well and the ribs were also hard and stuck on the bone.. The Mac and cheese was atleast two days old and the chili. As well inwpuld guess the meat was reheated atleast three times. Not fresh at all.. Too bad considering the sampler BBQ plate was $44. The food was not good for comsumpeandnill probably get food poisoning.

Entryway is creative, feels as if you're walking into a mine. Liked all the antique pictures and open interior. Waitstaff were attentive although a little confused at times (there was a new ordering system). Our appetizer (garlic tots) arrived last and were ok, could've used more garlic. Son got a cheeseburger which was standard. Husband got the prime rib which was good. I got country fried steak which was tender, tad salty. Our baked potatoes were on the dry side and could've used more butter (husband poured brisket gravy from my steak on his).

Server was very nice and suggested different foods and specials. The 6 cheese macaroni and cheese was amazing, very tasty and cheesy. Fish was great. Steaks seemed a bit small but tasted amazing. The dining area has great ambience with the old western pictures

    Not a bite left thank

Great food, great service, great people, great serving time. They were able to edit the food last minute for my friend who can't eat pork (they serviced me first I realized there was pork and they changed it in a matter of seconds) there wasn't a bite left. BEST RESTAURANT IN SELAH

Good food and service. Looks the same as it used to. I'll go back. A little outdated, but that's ok, it's clean.

Sometimes, you just want a sandwich…read more TL:DR - generous, well-constructed sandwiches, meats freshly sliced, and good value. This place is a gem amidst a sea of corporate chain sandwich shops. I was running errands around lunchtime and, feeling peckish, I thought about something to eat. Now I had many more errands, so road food was the order of the day. But how many burgers can you eat? There are even some pretty good independent burger joints, but sometimes, you just want a sandwich. Now, for context, our progeny ate a school lunch maybe a half dozen times, total, throughout their school years. Most of the time, I made lunch, and the centerpiece was the sandwich. Carefully selected meats, fresh veggies, a wide variety of sauces (they can't even eat a roast beef sandwich to this day without a bit of horseradish in there somewhere) were combined with excellent bread. That is what I wanted. That is what I got. The bread choices are white or brown, but that's because the emphasis is on the interiors. The Italiano, with pastrami, salami, and pepperoni, is a classic combination, with provolone, pepperoncini, and "all the fixins" (In response to whether or not I wanted "everything" I replied "Fuck me up, sandwich sensei!") because I firmly believe in allowing the restaurant to present you with their wares, and let you decide if you like them. Now, the-woman-who-lets-me-live-with-her (thanks Mike), cannot stand black olives, but in this sandwich, they provide such a tempering influence of slightly salty, slightly bitter counterpoint to the sweet bell peppers, that it would have been poorer without them. I thought I was only going to eat about half and then save the rest, but I just couldn't help myself. I ate the whole dang thing. The vibe is classic sandwich shop, there is someone at the end of the line freshly slicing more meats as needed while two people turn out submarine deliciousness for an anxious crowd. Do not miss this place, it is a gem.

While visiting Yakima a few weeks ago we decided to try Sub Shop based on reviews. I have recently…read morebecome gluten intolerant and was happy that Sub Shop offered a gluten free bread. The homemade gluten free bread was delicious! You seriously can't find gluten free bread in the store that tastes amazing like this! I can't wait to come back for another sandwich! My daughter had a sub and hers was amazing as well! I've seen a few bad reviews regarding what time this place closes. That is not a legitimate reason to leave a bad review. If you want to eat here. Come during business hours. If they are closed, then they probably had a good reason.
