2 pound ribs with coleslaw and mac n cheese

A-MA-ZING!!!! We shared the 2 pounds of ribs with 2 sides (Cole slaw and mac and cheese) and I literally did the food happy dance in my chair! It was our first time in, and chose this place to stop at for dinner on the long road trip from Bend, OR back to home about 35 miles north of Seattle. The directions lead you to the location they JUST moved from (owner said it was only day 3 in the new place) and the sign that led us to the right place was perfect. We found it and went in. Cool mine shaft vibe. The bar area was where it's at!! Game was on, beer was so ice cold, and the food!!!!! Yum!!! I declared that this had to be a regular stop now. We will definitely be back for more!!

This place is most definitely a dive bar! Don't let the aesthetics ward you away from trying the food though. The BBQ at this place is delicious! I ordered the Pork Belly Mac n Cheese and the Pulled Pork sandwich. Both were amazing AND more than reasonably priced. The server was also friendly, fast, and didn't miss a thing with our order. I will be coming back.

An incredible dump. Terrible food. Poker game is a joke. Looks like a great place to buy meth however.

The staff is really rude and awful. The food sucks too. If I were you, I would avoid this place at all costs.

I have to say that after coming here for a friends 40th birthday, this is the type of spot we would hang out! We came on a Saturday evening for karaoke which started at nine and went to the wee hours of the morning. The cuddled up to the bar and some friends played pulltabs for something like two hours. They have a decent beer selection including some local stuff and a number of pool tables and dartboards on the area opposite the karaoke. The bartenders were all very nice and took really good care of everyone here, despite it being crazy. I didn't have a chance to sample any of the food, but they had a rather extensive list of burgers and sandwiches. I think it's a sort of spot we're going to need to come back to for lunch someday! Pulltabs are definitely not my thing, but for those that enjoy them, they had something like 20 different options. A good spot to check out if you're looking for somewhere to hang or dive bar at which to do karaoke.

Quirky Irish themed decor, strong drinks, and a surprisingly killer menu. Have been popping in here periodically for 30+ years (in the 90s it was our go-to for cocktails when the now-defunct dance club was next door). Last weekend we were looking for somewhere to wind down on a Sunday night to watch the Seahawks game, have a couple drinks and some dinner. The super friendly bartender seemed to be masterfully running the whole front of house alone. Never disappointed by the food here: Hubs had the corned beef & cabbage and I had the Blarney Burger (double patty with a fried egg) side of delicious potato salad. The portions were big so we took enough home to have for lunch the next day. Local favorite!

First, I walked in the door, and wasn't sure what to do, as it looked as though the dining room was not in use. I walked to the bar and it had quite a few people in so I asked the bar tender should I sit anywhere. She told me sure, she'd be right with me. She seemed busy and very distracted (having bar tended I know what it can be like) however, when she finally came up wait on me she seemed annoyed! She didn't have any clue what to recommend for cider (come on, its an Irish pub), again I heard the table next to me ask for Irish beer, again she seemed annoyed and told them they won't get anything like that here (really, at an Irish pub)! Not impressed! However, the reason I gave 2 stars is because of the decor, and Frank, the server who took over after the first waitress left! He was great! He was attentive, very friendly, and an excellent waiter. Now, to the food! Gross! I pulled my fish ssnebich apart cause it was so greasy I almost couldn't eat it! The halibut was way over cooked, it was tough and the outside with soaked with grease! For me, this is the nail in the coffin! As a chef, and food critique, I know I'm picky, but I would never have allowed the sandwich I was served to leave my kitchen! The decor, and the quaint wee dining room was a great place to eat lunch! However, the music was too loud, and it was classic rock, which in other atmospheres would not be an issues, but again, this is supposed to be an Irish pub! What this actually is, is an American bar that maybe at one time was run like an Irish pub, but it's not anymore! Makes me sad cause I thought maybe I found a place to go when we are in Yakima! Not so much! I hope they make some changes, but it seems there are lots of locals who are not there for the good and instead are there for American beer!
