The atmosphere in this restaurant is very nice and it's clean .. There are lots of big screen TVs with an assortment of sports on them ... it was nice seeing the Mariners win over the Cubs. . ...we are locals but this was our first time to dine at Tailgaters Oh yes .... There is a nice fenced area outside They have a nice menu ..lots to choose from I ordered a BLT and Tater Tots ... the BLT was very good but they didn't bring Tots... just fries ( I don't care for fries) a few minutes later the server did offer to get the tots .. Hubby had a Burger ... just a basic cheeseburger ... ok so he doesn't like the extras like tomatoes and onions, etc so it was a basic cheeseburger... you'll see in the attached picture you'll see just a glob of mayo ...with the melted cheese ....a difficult task for the cook to spread it ?! Ok ...that's the only negative stuff ... The server was very nice and hubby enjoyed his bottle of Blue Moon with its little orange wedge. Had dinner with friends at Tailgaters last night - place was super busy! Their staff worked hard to be sure we had everything we needed. Our meals were a little slow getting out due to kitchen being busy but they let us know and got the meals out as fast as they could. Food was delicious as always- three prime rib dips and a chicken BLT. It was very nice they offered a complimentary dessert for our inconvenience. We had their cobbler and it was awesome! This is a another review a few years after I did my last one. Tailgaters is my Wife's and my favorite place to go for a quick meal and a good brew. They always have the beer I like on tap and the food has been prepared well 99% of the time and tastes delicious . The service is good but the room can be noisy if the restaurant is full . We go early in the afternoon to avoid the crowds and noise. I recommend this place for food service and the beers. read more

Food was good, service was good....however...we had a party of 8 and no one told us there would be a 20% gratuity automatically added to our bill. The other thing I was not prepared for was $10 for a shot of EJ Brandy (cheap brandy) which I asked for in coffee, and they charged me $2.75 for the coffee too. Came for dinner and the service was horribly slow they didn't offer to refill water had to ask each time. It was not overly busy, almost walked out before ordering because it took so long for them to come to our table. Our party had a very upsetting experience at this establishment. There are 16 of us in town for a softball tournament. The women in charge (owner or manager) was quite obvious that she wasn't interested in our business. We were offered the back patio but told we could NOT move tables together, and although there was a heater and fire table back there, they were not on (it was chilly). We were still grateful to get a seat and accepted. Our server tried her best, and treated us with kindness. We appreciated her. At the end of our meal, we were approached by this same manager and told that our daughters dumped out the garbage in their restroom and made a mess. I immediately knew this too be way too out of character for the girls we were there with. After asking our daughters, they adamantly agreed that the garbage was on the ground when they went in. I assured the manager that our girls did not make a mess of her restroom, but she repeatedly insinuated that she was sure they had. This women has a long road ahead to learn professionalism and guest relations. She ruined our experience after spending hundreds of dollars collectively at her establishment. Disappointing. After living in selah for 4 years- this is my regular spot. The food and service is better than any sports bar you'll find in the valley. Plus their bartender Chris, servers Sky and Christina are amazing. All the staff is great honestly. Whether I come in for a quick beer or stay all day to complain about my life and get sloshed- it's always a great time lol. I love that they have a special of the day menu and that's usually where the hits are. I had the pulled bbq pork sliders once and omg they were seriously killer. The fresh jalapeño made them amazing. Went in and saw the special was prime rib sliders and thought oh perfect sounds great , I ordered them and come to find out there a a small piece of shaved prime rib on a hamburger bun smothered in nacho cheese , not anything what I expected. The service was terrible as well , waitress was more concerned about rolling silverware and chatting with other workers . Our experience was with takeout so some things aren't as good as when eaten in the restaurant. I will say it was really good for takeout, especially the clam chowder and French onion . Majority of their food is great. However, I don't recommend their mac n cheese. Their employees are very nice and knowledgeable. Their service is pretty quick majority of the time unless they are packed. The environment in Tailgaters is really cool and exciting. They always have football on the tvs around the restaurant. My Wife and I go to this business several times a month. The service is always very good. The food quality is excellent. Their BLT sandwich is one of the best around and they usually have a homemade dessert to serve.They have a good selection of beer on tap. Cold Smoke Porter is my favorite. The only downside about the place is that if busy it gets noisy . We usually go earlier in the afternoon and it is quiet. read more

We were in town for one night looking to find a place to watch a SoundersFC game (I know...the Mariners are making a playoff push) and this place seemed like it might do the trick. It was very full when we arrived (always a good sign), with most TVs showing baseball, but we asked anyway. After about 15 minutes of trying, they came by to apologize about not being able to get it. During our conversation I said something that triggered a thought and they tried one more route (another 5-10 minutes) and this one worked. I am so sad to have to write this review but I have never been so disappointed in my experience at Tailgaters today for lunch. I have been dining here since they 1st opened. Every meal I had here has been well prepared & worth the money. Today however I ordered a guacamole burger & could not believe they would serve that to anyone. It was smaller than usual & had a pile of lettuce thrown on. The lettuce was all from the center & bitter. The waitress offered to have it remade, but I removed the lettuce. The waitress was non apologetic & didn't offer to compensate any part of the meal. It will not be my go to restaurant anymore. read more

We have always loved the food and service at Tailgaters. They recently opened back up for outdoor service and they continued to provide only the best. In fact, before we left, we ordered fish street tacos to go and, when we got home, we found steak tacos instead of fish. Being that they were extremely busy and because we had always had great service there in the past, my wife called to let them know about the error and placed an order for us to come and pick up. When I arrived, the staff immediately acknowledged me, apologized for the mistake, and let me know that the order would be ready to go shortly, as they were still really busy. While I was waiting, two more staff members checked on me and apologized for the error. When my order was ready, I offered to pay, but was quickly rebuffed, with another apology to follow. Not much else happenin' in Selah on Wed nights I guess. I went in at the urging of Yelpers. You were right. I ordered the "encrusted green beans". Green beans are healthy, right? They were also very good. They paired nicely with my 22 oz Black Butte Porter on tap! The french dip w/peppers/cheese/onions was real good. Maybe could have used a bit more meat. I had onion rings instead of fries. That was not a mistake. I like their take on rings being tempura battered (or very thin beer batter) and with chipotle aioli dip. And there was a large pile. The bartender was attentive and friendly. All in all it was a good idea to come in here. I will be back! read more

Disorganized. Servers were arguing over who had what table. Nobody knew what the specials were, the prices, and had to keep asking the kitchen if they had things (like marinara). Only reason it's getting 2 stars (and not 1) is because the drinks and cheese curds were good. Wish I had been able to order my meal though. They asked and because my significant other orders apps for his dinner half the time they didn't even ask if I wanted anything (even though I had the menu out and looked ready to order).
