With so many good choices of foods to eat at Maltby Market, it's hard to figure out what to spend your stomach space on. This waffle place looks pretty tempting with fresh waffles being made on the waffle makers in front of you, and the displays of chicken + waffles, waffles + berries, and a few other interesting looking combinations.
The waffles and toppings were fine, but you can get similar elsewhere, so unless you're a huge waffle fiend or you're craving waffles, I'd get something more unique that's harder to find in most places. The waffle we got was fresh and slightly crisp on the outside and a little chewy inside, and it was fresh. The berries and the chocolate sauce and honey on top were good, and the greek yogurt was a nice alternative to whipped cream. It was good but not amazing and it was little on the expensive side.
If you have a waffle iron at home and berries at home, you can probably make something similar at home. Get a flavor that you can't recreate at home or skip this altogether and get something else at Maltby Market. read more
