Egg and bacon sandwich plus taters
Christopher T.

Note: I actually when to the Victoria Station location not the the Notting Hill one. That said, the place is pretty cool. Small, walk up place. Service is fast and friendly. Good amount of choices on the menu. I opted for a relatively standard bacon, egg, and cheese. That said, the sandwich was excellent. The bread is soft, the bacon is slightly crisp, and the egg is cooked to perfection. The breakfast potatoes were quite good a well. They are round and hash brown like. All in all, a great experience. Would return and would recommend. N*joy!

So yummy!!! The space was a little small, but the food did not disappoint. Quick and good, what more can ya ask for.

I don't get the hype. Scrambled eggs to me is already quite mushy. Add it on a brioche bun that melts easily, it's just a blob of fluff. Don't get me wrong, it's tasty especially with the amount of butter they put in the scrambled eggs.

First Time Trying Eggslut And It Did Not Disappoint But What Made It A 10/10 Experience Was The Customer Service From The Worker Sofia To The General Manager Abraham. (He Was Amazing And Genuinely Wanted Honest Feedback, His Hospitality Was Top Tier!) Definitely Hit The Portobello Location In London

If the name won't get your attention, the sandwiches will. I ordered the Fairfax sandwich and hash browns with duck fat for delivery, and holy hell. I think I have diabetes now, but it was worth it. The sandwich is delicious, but heavy and quite messy to eat. I wish they toasted the bun a little more, but that's my personal preference. The hash browns were crispy, greasy and delicious. I don't think I've had anything fried in duck fat until now. It either tastes similar to truffle or they add truffle to these b*st*rds and they're so good. Cold brew gave me just enough caffeine to not pass out after such a heavy breakfast. It's probably a great place to order from after a long night out. It's a tad bit expensive, but well worth visiting at least once. I don't think I can visit for a while lol, but I surely will again!

My wife and I are Americans traveling in the UK. We stopped by at 8:15am for breakfast and ordered 2 bacon, egg, and cheese sandwiches but subbed out the ketchup for the Sriracha mayo. The service was pretty good but not amazing. The restaurant was empty aside from us and one other person. The sandwich were great! They had runny yolks and American bacon. It was just what we needed to start the day of exploring London. Also the coffee and cold brew were great! Would return.

Ordered the fairfax burger and it was one of the best egg sandwiches I had! The flavor was wonderful as it came with a bit of siracha mayo. However, the burger was a bit on the big side and we wish it was smaller to fully enjoy it without being too full. Service is also great and they bring it up to your table.

On vacation and found this place while walking around one morning. Amazing food and service. Highly recommend if you are ever in the area, you must give this place a try.

OMG THERE'S AN EGGSLUT IN LONDON!!! People of Notting Hill: You don't know how unbelievably lucky you are to have an Eggslut! I hail from LA where Eggslut originated and I have stood in the OG Downtown location line for HOURS to get a breakfast sandwich. There are now a few locations sprinkled throughout LA (and even one in Las Vegas) and they are all equally busy. I happen to now live within walking vicinity of this premier UK location and have made it my mission to eat every single thing off of this menu BECAUSE IT IS DELICIOUS AND I CAN! Get here before people learn about its existence and it starts to get crowded because you are in for some breakfast sandwich heaven! My favorite sando is the Fairfax--but I always add bacon. I like that the bacon is American-style and they make it super crispy because it pairs perfectly with the ooey goodness of the whipped egg with chives and sriracha mayo. My brother adds avocado too but that's a bit too much for me. Turkey sausage as an add on is good too but there's something about the bacon that is so well-balanced that does it for me every time. The Slut is something you should try if you want a light breakfast. It's whipped potatoes on top of which sits a coddled egg. I like watching the runny yellow yolk drip out when you cut into it with your spoon (if you have that food fetish like me). You can pair it with bacon or the turkey sausage to get a little more protein in there. I like playing with my food so it's fun to dip the toasted bread in the creamy mixture or make little open-faced sandwiches with each of the toasties. For those of you non-breakfast breakfast people, the cheeseburger and the Gaucho are AWESOME. The cheeseburger is a good ol' diner burger (reminds me a bit of Cassell's) and though that block also hosts an Honest Burgers and a Five Guys, I would hands down get the Eggslut burger. It honestly doesn't need the egg but it's from Eggslut so that lil' egg needs to be everywhere. LoL The Gaucho is specific to this location and is essentially a delicious steak sandwich with an egg. I'm a big chimmichurri and red meat fan so this sandwich ticks all of the boxes. Plus anything on top of that brioche bun is a winner. For those of you low-carbers, you can also get anything on top of a salad so you can get your fix while also maintaining your figure. Seriously, come here and try all of the items on the menu. For first timers I would recommend the Fairfax. For those who like more basic breakfast, you can't go wrong with the Bacon Egg and Cheese. And those who want something more lunch-oriented, go with the Burger or Gaucho. You should try the Slut at least once, but I know some people take it or leave it and would rather have a sandwich instead. That is all. I'm coming back tomorrow.

Was very surprised by the food here. I was craving some breakfast food and stumbled upon Eggslut. The sandwich was pretty good but the truffle hash browns are to die for! I highly recommend getting the hash browns. One of the best I've had ever.

Really good egg sandwich. Fluffy eggs and crispy bacon, the sriracha adds a lot of sweet/spicy to the whole thing. Tho it's expensive for what it is £9~. Had to order 2 of them in order to feel full.

Prep area gauchos was one of the dishes many tasted on the grand opening

Love the soft buns they use for the egg sandwiches and having the soft yolks was indescribably better that hard cooked eggs.

One eventually came to our table after sitting awhile. I of course had to try the fish n chips. A couple of veggie burgers were ordered and a regular burger. Surprisingly happy hour was still on at 8 o'clock so drinks were ordered. The food all came at the same time and everything was cool. The fish had a nice flavor from the fried batter. To me it was similar to Long John Silvers as far as the batter is concerned, but slightly better quality overall. The fries were standard. The only thing horrible was the very bland mashed green peas. They should be omitted from every pub across the country, but I think it is a traditional item included with the fish. The cocktails were good as well as the price. The sticky toffee pudding was something else I was advised to try while in London. I must admit it was really delicious. It came with a scoop of ginger ice cream and a warm buttery toffee sauce to pour over. It was delightfully warm and sweet and paired well with the ice cream. The cake itself was moist enough on its own with notes of brown sugar and molasses. I could have had seconds and thirds of this desert. Yum! The majority of my party didn't think the food was fantastic. The burgers happened to be somewhat alright. This was a first for me having pub food and I would have more again as long as I stick to the basics.

This restaurant was absolutely amazing from start to finish. I ordered the beef roast, and we also shared a side of the creamy cauliflower, which was to die for. I truly cannot sing the praises of this restaurant enough. The service was personable and welcoming, making it easy and comfortable to ask questions and try new things. One of the managers (apologies I don't know her name) checked in on us several times and even encouraged a few of us to try additional menu items. The food came out quickly, and once it arrived, the table went completely silent because we were all too busy enjoying every bite. I highly, highly recommend this spot to anyone visiting London and even the locals. A solid 10/10 experience!

I was a fish person, and I am SO HAPPY I did! The fish at this restuarant will live in my head forever. Im not joking. I live in the US and I almost want to fly back to London just to have it again. The roast looked great too, many of my friends saying the meat was great and the gravy was flavorful. The staff were ALL so friendly, even offering the charge a phone that was dying! The place itself feels like it's straight out of a movie, a true london pub. I cannot stop thinking about this fish. Mall Tavern, if youre ever in Minnesota, please send me the recipe.

Ice-skating bowlers rejoice! What a great find this place is!! On our last night touring London,…read morethe hubs and I decided to check out this spot and were completely amazed to find a decent-sized rink and lots of bowling lanes, not to mention a bar and lots of restaurant seating. The hubs wanted to bowl, but they were slammed and didn't have any lanes available for well over an hour, which was no biggie--I decided to skate in the meantime. It's been YEARS since I rented ice skates, so I was a little nervous about what I would find. Thankfully, the rental skates fit fine and were much lighter than the ones I recall from the 90s. I was easily the oldest person at the rink, but it was super fun. While we were there, they had only half the rink available for skating (the other half was being used by amateur curlers who seemed to have no idea what they were doing but were clearly having fun), so skating was half price at £8.50. Not bad! Some skaters were holding hands, falling regularly, and generally obstructing traffic, but it wasn't too terrible and I was surprised that I skated for nearly an hour before my stomach started to tell me it was time to eat. After returning my skates, I checked out the bar where I ordered the Inedit Damm "spiced" lager at the bartender's suggestion. It wasn't at all what I would call spiced, but it was good enough, so I had two. It was almost time to bowl, but when I learned there was only a limited menu at the bowling lane that didn't include any of the dinner items that the hubs and I had been eyeing (delicious chicken wings/monkey fingers, fries, onion rings, fried pickles, hot dogs, etc.), I asked my friendly bartender if I could order take-away. He said no problem and then asked where I could be found when my order was ready. I sheepishly explained I'd be bowling and he said it was no trouble to bring it to us there. Great service! Bowling is a different story. It's quite pricey to bowl--about £20 for one game, no matter if you have one or four people. When I found the hubs at our lane, our names had already been entered on the screen by the front desk, so all we had to do was bowl. The bowling ball weights were in pounds, but all we could find were 6- and 10-pound balls (I prefer 8 lbs). Right away a server approached and the hubs ordered a white Russian milkshake. Hands-down the worst part of the night was that we had FINISHED our game and he still never received his drink! I felt so badly for him (also because I beat him pretty good in bowling and he could not cry in his drink because he didn't have one). We asked what the hold up was on the drink and learned the server never put in the order. WHAT?! Yeah, I got and finished the second beer I ordered but he got nothing. We wanted to play another game since we still had plenty of food to eat and he was waiting to get his first drink of the night, so I went to the front desk. Since there appeared to only be bowlers at every other lane, it seemed we'd be able to play another game right away (for another £20--ouch), but the front desk said it would be nearly another hour before the next open reservation. I went ahead and purchased the game since I didn't want to risk waiting any longer, but when I delivered the news to the hubs, he was bummed and we knew neither of us really had the energy to bowl another game when the morning alarm was going to be coming soon and the train to Heathrow was departing early. I got a little pushback from the front desk when I told them I'd have to cancel the second game, but the manager was friendly enough and recalled that I'd spent an hour on the ice before we got to bowl our first game, so he was somewhat sympathetic and gave me the refund with no issues. This place would do well to make the bowling more efficient and ensure bowlers are actually using their lanes at the appointed time. It seems wasteful that so many lanes were dark and empty while we sat there ready to play but couldn't. While I certainly had a fun night and would recommend you check out this spot, even if it plays to mostly a young local crowd, I recommend you temper expectations with the bowling and drink table service (the hubs was pretty ticked that the check included gratuity without our permission, especially with the serious screw-up).

But the food somehow doesn't taste as good as at their Soho branch. Maybe it's just that it doesn't have the vibe. But neither the wings nor the dead hippie burger are what I remember from the soho branch. It is however a good option for burgers in Queensway - better than all the others in the area. Plus it's quiet in the afternoon as not too many people seem to know about it's location in the basement of the Queens bowling arcade.
