I had ordered mocha coffee, that came out without chocolate flavor, and, no hint of sweet flavor, and, they would not replace it with a new one. And, they would not give the receipt, or refund for my coffee, and, would not apologize for the poorly made coffee. The waffle awe had was okay, but, the price is quite steep for what it is. And, it is not like the real Belgian Waffle with chewy texture, but somewhat bready. Even though we asked for the fork and knife to cut the waffle to the bite sizes,, they pretended they did not hear our request. The nasty attitude of the cashier (short male) was intolerable. When I tried to call the company head office, next few days,surely, no one is taking the call, and their voice mail box is full for days. That is the shady company work ethics that hires shady staff who barely spoke English and argumentative. There are about 6 choices of waffles with customisations of what type of chocolate you'd like to cover your waffle and they also have options of just getting scoops of ice cream. Simply put, it's a great place to stop and grab a sweet snack to go as there is no seating. And the waffles...they are great!! Very tasty and hits the spot! One down side is trying to eat it with a fork whilst on the move. A fork doesn't really cut it properly and you'll be struggling to cut it into pieces whilst watching where you are walking. Maybe I came on the wrong night or maybe Parisian Belgian waffles are too good, but I was sorely disappointed by this waffle place. My friend and I were craving a sweet dessert and we yelped places that were still open at 10pm. When we got there, we realized it was a "store front only" place with no seating anywhere near the vicinity. We ordered the "Go Bananas" which had sliced bananas, dark chocolate drizzle, whipped cream and nuts. This sounds like it would be a really good, but the lukewarm and kind of stale waffle ruined the experience. Also, the customer service was pretty terrible. My friend tried to order the peanut butter chocolate but she had to tell them 3 times before they realized she didn't want just chocolate. When we ordered the waffle, I ordered dark chocolate drizzle, however they added milk chocolate instead. When I pointed this out, I had no offer of a new waffle but rather, the guy said he might've told the guy in the back to add milk chocolate. We were two of 4 people in line, and really, the reasonable thing would have been to just make another waffle. All in all, for 4.40 pounds and the long walk this definitely wasn't worth it. This place does not get enough reviews and surprisingly so since so many people come here! I always see queues during the day but my friends and I went around 8:30 pm when it wasn't so busy. I tried the cookies and cream one and its SOOO delicious. What sucks is you have to pay about 80 pence more to get the waffle warm but it's so delicious I couldn't complain. You get to choose what kind of chocolate drizzle you want on the waffle and it is all freshly made. read more

Really terrible experience all around and I'm dumbfounded by the 4.5 star rating. First off, there is no seating. So, if you're not one to eat and walk or if you don't love standing and eating in the frigid London weather at night, don't expect any comfort here. Secondly, the staff is all completely indifferent and no one spoke English. They couldn't give a crap if you waited in line for ten minutes, they rush you. You can't see any sort of menu and you can't see what they offer unless you're right upon them. Thirdly, there's no sort of communication or organization or even a semblance of a line. Apparently there are two registers, but people kept detoxing back and forth because the ice cream flavors are on one side. The employees just contributed to the chaos. Then they don't give you a number or ask your name so you just get this guy yelling "Hey! Hey you! It's ready!" What the heck? We tried to ask a couple questions and just wanted to bang our heads against the wall. Fourth, most of the above could be overlooked or forgotten about if the food was any good. OK, the ice cream was just fine (its ice cream, after all), but the waffle was rubbery. I saw the cook loading the waffle maker and he had to press the batter into the iron as if it was peanut butter. The end result was a very tough waffle. The toppings were laughable, able 2 pounds for 5 slices of strawberry and the ice cream scoop was small and sad. Would not recommend and would not try again. Rubbish read more
