    Rest of my All-Star meal

Yes!!!!!!! Have not had Waffle House since 2018 when I was in FL. Same great tasting waffles. I'm sure I'll get some flack for a 4 star review but it was all about the experience. Sure they were short staffed, three workers pumping out all that food at 9:30am with little to no time to really clean up. I get that. Floors under the bar were dirty. Fast food bathrooms are fast food bathrooms. They were not doing takeout which upset some customers but tough love. I did get a free chocolate chip waffle because of a mistake. Wasn't a big fan of it, chocolate chips took away from the flavor of the waffle. Big kudos for the guy on the grill. Non stop for an hour. Just remember to drink some water if you get feedback from these reviews. Enjoy that tip I left you, treat yourself. I'm usually a supporter of all things mom and pop but I've been hungry for Waffle House and I got it, with two coming home with me! Until next time!!

My friend and I came here for a late breakfast/lunch on a Sunday. Like most waffle houses, the space was limited so we had to wait a bit for a table to open up. The issue that we had was there was no system to seating people, so a couple groups of people sat down at a table before we were seated and the staff didn't do anything about it. When we finally sat down, we ordered our food. Everything came out great and our order was correct. For what it is, this was a much needed breakfast after a late night, the night before.

I came here and ordered take out food took 45 mins for me to get with only two tables in there and my food is absolutely disgusting it is so burnt how does someone send this out of any kitchen looking like this I wasted my money and will not come back train your staff because if this is what is being put out you will lose every customer ! So disappointed and I came here often the staff was so unfriendly and didn't care they were sitting back there eating food and on there phones and my families meal shows there lack of attention or customer service !

Wife had the craving to eat at Waffle House, it was a semi-busy night, I would've given a 4 star the reason because our server was ghetto, you don't chew gum while taking orders need to pronounce each word & please use an order ticket to take our order not write it on your hand, didn't even wash her hands after she placed the order to the cook. I give it to them the place/restroom was clean, the food was good just as usual, you can't go wrong wth breakfast at anytime of the day even if it's for dinner...

The cheesesteak omelet. Don't forget to add the ketchup and Tabasco.

Excellent service by Sharon. Thank you for your knowledge of the menu and your personal recommendations. You made our meal complete.

I had to give them 1 star just to write a review. They deserve nano! Well I take that back. My waitress deserves no stars and made my visit very unpleasant. 1st I had to have her wipe the counter and she only did one pass missing lots of spots. Then I had to ask for the rest of my order. Next, she gave me a water and the cup smelled like dishwater! But here's the kicker she laid a napkin out with my utensils and it was dirty. I really love the waffle house cause I love waffles. But, I won't come to this location again. I should just buy a waffle maker and make my own. One day. One day.

Inside is a busy dining room with roughhewn decor, lots of light wood and plenty of fish items. The open kitchen takes up one wall with counter seating, then some 2 person booths and a step up to bigger booths with menu chalkboards. The menu is divided between breakfast and lunch/dinner. Fairly classic diner menu with the significant difference of steelhead trout as a protein option. I ordered the seafood chowder and the steelhead hash. The soup came out in a minute or two, a very nicely presented small bowl of thick chowder stuffed with shrimp, fish and seafood, nicely seasoned and topped with some green onions. The chowder was delicious and very hearty. The hash was out a couple of minutes later, a plate loaded with diced potatoes, onions, peppers and pieces of steelhead trout topped with 3 over medium eggs and sided with 2 homemade biscuits. The hash was very nice, although if I get it again I would ask them to crisp up the potatoes, the trout works nicely as it is a mild fish with just enough flavor to stand up to the hash, the eggs were tasty and the biscuits were excellent. Overall a delicious and satisfying dish. Chagrin River Diner is a real find, it serves upscale diner food in a comfortable environment at reasonable prices. Service was great, the atmosphere is unique for the area, this place would feel right at home in a Rocky Mountain resort town. I will be back to Chagrin River Diner and try some of the other menu items.

We have recommended your restaurant to many people, especially praising your salad bar for its freshness, quality, and variety. We've also ordered the AYCE fish fry many times -- including nearly every Friday during Lent last year -- and it has always been crispy, well‑drained, and never greasy. This visit, however, fell far below the standards we have come to expect. From the moment we were seated, the experience was noticeably different. The hostess did not ask for drink orders, which has always been standard. Our server -- slightly heavy‑set with a long black ponytail -- appeared disengaged and gave the clear impression that she did not want to be there. We confirmed with her that the AYCE fish was $12.99 and included all‑you‑can‑eat soup and salad, exactly as we were told earlier in the day when we called. Her response was, "She always tells people that, but it's one trip." Despite the inconsistency, we proceeded and requested the fish extra crispy and well‑drained. We waited at least 30 minutes for the first round of fish, even though only two other tables were occupied and they already had their food. When the fish finally arrived, it was extremely greasy, not crispy, and the bottoms were completely soggy. When we pointed this out, the server simply said, "I told him," offering no apology, no concern, and no attempt to resolve the issue. She took the fish back to have it remade. She returned shortly after and removed our sides without explanation. The second order of fish was still dripping with grease. Grease was visibly pooled in the breading, as if it had come straight from the fryer without being drained at all. We asked another employee if she was the manager. She said no but asked what was wrong. As we began explaining, the manager, Heather, approached. At that same moment, the server stood behind me and said, "Oh, they're not happy with that either." Heather also showed no empathy, no apology, and no effort to correct the situation. Her demeanor was irritated and dismissive from the start. We told Heather to remove the fish from the bill. She agreed but insisted we still had to pay for the soup and salad. She then brought a bill for nearly $30, charging us for AYCE soup and salad even though we each had only one cup of soup and one small salad. When we questioned this, Heather became visibly annoyed and said she would instead charge us for a side salad and a cup of soup. We explained that the fish has never been like this before. Heather's response was, "Then go out to Madison, they have the same fish there." This was unprofessional and completely unnecessary. When we went to pay, we informed Heather that we were veterans. She applied the discount to only one meal. When I told her I was also a veteran, she said, "Oh, you're a veteran too? Well, I need to see ID." This was disrespectful and unnecessary, especially after she acknowledged she recognized us from previous visits. My husband was wearing a veteran jacket, yet she still demanded to see his ID as well. Heather then brought up the fish again, stating it "looked perfectly fine" to her. When I explained the amount of grease on the napkin and on my hands, she dismissed it, saying, "It's deep fried, there's going to be grease," and repeated that it looked fine. As I calmly explained that it had never been served this way before, she told me I was "getting out of control." At no point did I raise my voice -- I was simply explaining the issue. After that comment, I stepped outside while my husband finished paying. He later told me that Heather was speaking about me in front of him to another employee, again calling me "out of control," and told the server she wasn't getting a tip. It is clear that something has changed. The friendly, attentive, welcoming atmosphere that once set your restaurant apart is gone. The staff now appear disengaged, unprofessional, and uninterested in providing quality service. We no longer see any of the kind servers who made dining here enjoyable. We are extremely disappointed by how this visit was handled from start to finish. We hope management takes this feedback seriously. We have supported your restaurant since your grand opening, and we would like to feel confident returning -- but based on this experience, that is not possible unless significant improvements are made.

Eating brunch here on Sunday before going apple…read morepicking reminded me of just how hard they work and how terrible so many people treat these lovely folk. That's my PSA for today. As for everything else, this little diner is definitely locally owned and locally loved. It was only a few minutes from the farm I took my bf to go apple picking on the far east side of Cleveland. FYI!!! - The menu online is incredibly outdated!! Each thing is about 50% more expensive. Use the attached menu pictures to get an accurate idea of prices in late 2025. This is no longer a cheap place to eat. :( After about 15 minutes of waiting, we were sat at the counter right next to the cash register and could hear everything the staff said. I was enlightened as to how terrible they are treated by stingy, entitled customers. I felt terrible about my impatience at getting seated and getting our food but it seems like all the staff and cooks were just burnt out today. They still did a pretty good job at making yummy food though! My bf got a skillet with home fries and wheat toast. This was a lot of food and the toast was very thicccc and very heavily buttered. I ordered a gyro salad with tzaziki sauce and it came with buttered triangles of pita bread. Since we weren't prepared for the price changes, we just got water to drink. We both were shocked at how LARGE the portions were! The gyro meat was so good and the pita bread was nice and lightly buttered. My bf was a huge fan of the sausage in his skillet. Because we didn't want to leave the food in the car for a few hours, we ate everything and did not have leftovers although we could have! Not sure how well my gyro salad would taste as leftovers though so it was probably best I ate everything. Lastly, I made sure to thank them and tip generously. I hope everyone else there did the same. I ended up paying about $42.

O tried my husband's sausage and biscuits. The biscuits were delicious ! Fluffy and perfect. The gravy was good. It needed a bit more flavor via spices like salt and pepper. Easy to add, but better cooked in. I had the Hercules gyro with eggs and wheat toast. Loved the seeded wheat thick toast. The tzatziki sauce was very nice. Gyro meet was tasty. The shredded hash towns were perfectly cooked. My mother in law got the godfather. The guido Italian sausage looked good and she said it was great. Would definitely come back!
