I came in and could not sit at my favorite spot because the table ws not clean. The disk washer was not going so, the dishes had already been washed, there were 3 tables occupied. after I came in a customer went to the back and two came over next to me. After about 10 minutes, I stood at the end of the cooking isle and waved my arms to get attention, the watress looked up a tme and turn and went to the back. I set down and waited a few more minutes and got up and started waiting again. After the third time, she came my way and went to the one of the tables ignorring me. Since the cook knew me, he prepared my meal. It was delivered to me before I could get a drink delivered to my table. This is sorriest, sorriest, Sorriest Watiress that I have ever come into contact with.

Disappointing, but I understand and quickly assessed my lunch options. We decided to order an appetizer and then split a lunch plate. For the appetizer we got the loaded fries, since they were hand cut as we were sitting there. Overall the loaded fries were okay. I think they went too heavy on the cheese and the other noticeable thing was that the cinnamon in the chili was a little stronger than I would have liked. For lunch it was a Big Sexy Burger which had a double burger, pimento cheese, bacon jam and maybe some other stuff. But those items mentioned sold me on trying it. My only criticism about the burger would be the pimento cheese, it seemed to be heavy on the mayo and not as much cheese, but overall a decent burger. I think the real star of the meal was the onion rings, I would definitely recommend these. Now that we tried their lunch, I am looking forward to trying their breakfast menu.

Remember, I'm at the bar where all the servers are at. And they were not that busy. It was Mother's Day. I was traveling and by myself on a hard day as my Mom passed away 2 years ago, and my mom always enjoyed local mom and pop restaurants so I had never been to this place. And when she did she said she was training a new person, ok???? How about trying to train her to take care of customers!! I ordered. And 27 minutes later, NOTHING! For just eggs and biscuits and gravy! She never even came back to me for water. Rude rude!! I finally just walked out. Unbelievable! I spend a lot of time there at the fairgrounds and will make sure I tell all to stay away. I was very disappointed!

The young lady that was supposed to serve me took my order and got it correct (thankfully). She brought a cup full of lemons to my table when I asked for 1-2 pieces but oh well. My bill was placed on the table right after she placed my food on the table. I didn't have time to take a bit. I had no utensil so I had to ask someone else because she disappeared. When I finally tasted my food, it was cold and this was only a few minutes. I asked for a to go container from someone else bc she was wiping the same area for the longest to not do anything else. I packed up and took my food to go. She didn't even check me out nor look at me. I never said anything to her nor made a scene. I cleaned the table and left.

I do not eat hamburgers often but this was a lean thick meat pattie with fresh tomatoes, lettuce, onion avocado, cheddar and bacon. (wow) I couldn't make up my mind between breakfast or lunch so I also ordered the salted caramel and banana pancakes which were also delicious. I usually come in for the salads which they have three to choose from, a garden salad, a a Cobb salad and a Caesar salad . All three are delish and with grilled chicken that is still juicy and seasoned nicely when I'm trying to stick with a lighter option. I will definitely have another burger here in the near future. Went back today(12/16/2019 and had a Cobb salad with grilled chicken. I change my cheese to the parmigiana mix for the Caesar salad and minus the potato fries chips. Everything was fresh and delicious. The coffee is dark and very good here as well. Will be back soon.
