I always get the same thing from Waffle House but not once have they made my scrambled eggs the way that I've asked. I don't like my eggs fried hard, so I told her what I wanted and how I wanted it and it came to the table exactly as I asked for it. My Uncle and I went to breakfast this morning. Everything was delicious, I ordered steak and scrambled eggs with hash browns. And nothing beats WH scrambled eggs and cheese! If lI was somewhat disappointed in anything, it was the very small and thin steak, but this isn't a steak house so it's to be expected. Where Were All the Hidden Cameras? ****************************************** This is not actually a Waffle House chain restaurant. It is a Hollywood movie set for a Southern breakfast diner in the shell of a Waffle House. The actresses playing the waitresses are true to character. I don't know how the imported California cuties got the southern accent so pitch perfect. They greet you with an authentic "hi y'all" the minute you walk in the door. Although waffles may be on the menu for show, I don't think they really have actual waffle makers in the kitchen. They would have had to get rid of them to make room for the extra deep fat fryers. The only meals I saw being served were chicken fried steaks, biscuits with sausage gravy, and deep fried pineapple chunks. The extras on the set must have been locals. I've never seen so many pick up trucks off of a Marine Corps Base. The extras closely followed their scripts, discussing only hunting, grandma's health, and Seminoles football. I wasn't sure whether to tip, but I did anyway. I hope they're filming on my next trip to Thomasville. read more

I knew better than to eat at Waffle House to begin with. The menu is limited so you would think your order would be right. But mine was wrong and then the cook seemed like she had an attitude because I wanted it redone. Waitress service was so, so but she should've never brought me food knowing it wasn't what or done how I ordered it. Plus I'm still waiting on a refill at this moment... Just stay away! read more

Absolutely abysmal service. The food is exactly what you would expect from a waffle house. While there I waited 15 minutes for water. I had to remind her that I would like something to drink. Even then, my coffee was a good 5 minutes after that. A table was seated after we were and received their drinks before us. When the coffee arrived, both mugs were just as dirty as our table that had obviously not been wiped down. There were other clean tables but they were blocked by an upside down highchair. We would have wiped it ourself, no big deal, except that the napkin dispenser was empty with no extra napkins to be found. Though the food was unsurprising, what was surprising was that half of my order went unmade until the rest had arrived at my table. The restroom had also not been checked recently. All in all, could not reccomend. read more

We had such a great service that we left in s shock - the girl who was serving us was very nice, put our silverware on a napkin in a nice way ( which is important for me who suffers from OCD). The restaurant was clean (I assume they had time to do it since we were there at 1am). After a long trip it was great to have stress free meal. I always was concerened about leave the restaurant smell like food and no this time. Again probably because it was just 4-5 tables with people eating there. I liked it a lot. The food was ok at best, but I couldn't get over the fact that there was a women sitting at the table across from me with dirty stinky bare feet propped up on the table. why would any restaurant let people come in with no shoes and let them disturb other people while there trying to eat. I don't know where to start. We decided to go here on a Holiday last year...Big Mistake!! I told the waitress "exactly what we wanted and "gave" her the special instructions...She completely bombed, not just on my food order, but everybody's. When she came back to the table after delivering this horrible slop, I "politely" asked her if she had gotten the details of our order, and she said what details, and i recapped the order instructions for her and she said she was sorry and left the table. Also, it was a foggy overcast day in the "wintertime" and the A/C was on wide open. I do understand that with the heat of the waffle Irons and the Flat-grill that the workers may have been hot, but it was so cold in the building that one elderly lady was so appreciative that I asked them to turn the A/C up, (Up, as in make it warmer in the building) because we were freezing, she turned around and said, "Thank you, Sir. I was gonna have to leave if they didn't turn it up..." You couldn't even see through the windows!!! We waited and waited and waited...I looked at the family and said, "What do ya'll wanna do?" Everybody agreed as we had been there almost 30 minutes!!!! I told the big guy behind the counter we were leaving and I wanted to pay for the drinks...He looked at me sternly and said..."What did you say to that girl? She is in the back crying because you hurt her feelings!!!" I tried to reassure him I had said nothing out of the way, and that I had given clear direction of how our food was desired, (they ask you how you want everything anyway!! How do you want your eggs? How do you want your hash-browns? All I did was try to get my eating experience tailored to how I like things. I told him about our experience and he said that I was rude and that I should leave...I told him we were already leaving and that I wanted to stop by and pay for the drinks...He told me to not worry about it, and again, said we should leave...!!!I had already told him we were leaving!!!! What a way to handle your business dude...Lost us for good as a customer...I hope he can be happy that we won't ever go back to that Waffle House... I put in a call to corporate to inform them of our experience and no one ever called me back...dismal. Abysmal. I agree Eli P. read more

Came down to Thomasville to see family .so around 1030p I wanted something g so I stop at this waffle house to get an all star special to go didn't check my food until I got home they forgot my bacon and the waffle wasn't cooked all the way thru so check your food from here if you get it to go :-( :-( :-( read more
