But instead of the egg, sausage, cheese on an everything bagel toasted well, received an egg, BACON, cheese on a CROISSANT! Two days in a row received the wrong order! What is going on with this Dunkin? To get these orders so wrong! I tried to call the store to speak with the manager and no one answered the phone!

We are trapped. With my wife's infatuation with Starbucks' Iced Chai Latte (one extra pump of chai…read moreplease) and my "well I might as well have something too" attitude, there's a good chance that when we come to Thomasville that we are stopping by here for sips for the ride back to Tallahassee. It looks like a Starbucks with all the latest bells and whistles when I look through the drive through window while we get our order. It's easy in and out with a turn in aligned with the Lowe's across Highway 19 so there's a traffic light. As a result you can go either direction with ease on 19 when you leave without risking an accident. We order and pay via the app and they get our orders right (including that extra pump of chai) so we get to enjoy our sips for the pleasant ride home.

My companions and I have sampled the sipping chocolate, which is a small hot cup of exactly what you think...sipping chocolate. It's more dessert that hot beverage to warm you up. But it is utterly delicious! There are plenty of dessert offerings from gelato to sorbet, to colorful macrons, cookies, cinnamon rolls, cheesecakes, milkshakes, and coffee drinks galore. If that isn't enough they put themselves over the top with hand crafted truffles, each with their own design and flavor profile. The staff will package them in a 2, 4, 8 or 12 count box for gifting. I dare you to leave without a box! They also offer a small caramel filled or dark chocolate bar for about $3.00. They are delicious! You may just have to eat it if it's a hot day outside. You wouldn't want this melting before you get to enjoy it! This is one of my personal favs! Now parking is a bit tricky. There is angled parking in front of the store and on both sides of Broad Street, but this is a busy area for shoppers, diners, locals and tourists. So, if you just venture around the corner to East Jefferson Street, there is more parking. On a busy Saturday, we found plenty of empty spaces midday on East Jefferson Street, where Broad Street was full! It is wonderful to see a local business thriving like Sweet Cacoa! The line out the door proved just how popular this dessert haven is! If you need a gift for a hostess or just a sweet treat yourself, this shop is a must-stop location and is on my regular Thomasville routine shopping destinations.

We decided to try the following drinks: Peppermint bliss (french vanilla with notes of peppermint): 6/10 - I love anything french vanilla and peppermint in coffee form and this was lacking alot of the peppermint and french vanilla flavors. It was really watered down and I didn't get a pow in the face with flavors. Not sure if it was possibly an off day but I didn't enjoy this as much as I wanted to. I couldn't detect any sweetness at all. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and will come back and try it again. I had it with oat milk and while the flavors were muted, it was drinkable. Bourbon pecan twist (bourbon caramel and praline): 8/10 - my husband enjoyed this very much and I tried a little bit of it. And it was the complete opposite of the peppermint bliss. It was so robust, rich, and you can taste both the notes of bourbon and pecan. I was honestly jealous of his drink as it was really really delicious. I'll probably be getting this next time! We got both of our drinks in the hot version but will be back to try the cold and frozen versions. They also have crossiant-wiches, bagles, muffins, breakfast bowls, etc. I plan to re-visit this coffee shop again to try other items. I do love that the drinks were actually hot.
