But it is utterly delicious! There are plenty of dessert offerings from gelato to sorbet, to colorful macrons, cookies, cinnamon rolls, cheesecakes, milkshakes, and coffee drinks galore. If that isn't enough they put themselves over the top with hand crafted truffles, each with their own design and flavor profile. The staff will package them in a 2, 4, 8 or 12 count box for gifting. I dare you to leave without a box! They also offer a small caramel filled or dark chocolate bar for about $3.00. They are delicious! You may just have to eat it if it's a hot day outside. You wouldn't want this melting before you get to enjoy it! This is one of my personal favs! Now parking is a bit tricky. There is angled parking in front of the store and on both sides of Broad Street, but this is a busy area for shoppers, diners, locals and tourists. So, if you just venture around the corner to East Jefferson Street, there is more parking. On a busy Saturday, we found plenty of empty spaces midday on East Jefferson Street, where Broad Street was full! It is wonderful to see a local business thriving like Sweet Cacoa! The line out the door proved just how popular this dessert haven is! If you need a gift for a hostess or just a sweet treat yourself, this shop is a must-stop location and is on my regular Thomasville routine shopping destinations.

I try to regularly pop into the South Eden Plantation, especially in the fall and on one of their live music nights. The wine menu is extensive and all available by the glass, which may make the decision-making process more difficult, but you'll always end up with a good wine. I eventually made up my mind with the old vine zinfandel followed by a glass of sangria, paired with the delicious cheese platter. With those hard decisions over, I could sit back, sip on my wine, and listen to some music, while the cicadas played their own music in the trees. I usually order a flight, but they were really busy, so I just ordered a pint of their Mexican Hazy which was an interesting fusion type beer. Don't make me mansplain that. I then ordered some Chili lime wings. The wings are cooked in a wood burning stove so a few of them were a little to burnt. Other than that, they were really good. I got another beer called Velvet Wonder which was a Belgian Triple. It was pretty good. Next time I am road tripping through Georgia, I will definitely stop back to try one of their pizzas and a flight. Cool place with really cool people working here.
