My mom sent me these delicious chocolates from @sweetcacaochocolate in @thomasvillega - if you look on the list my two favorites have a star beside them. Highly recommend...

This is a wonderfully sweet Thomasville treasure! The staff is amazing and the truffles are to die for!!! I especially loved the Savannah Latte Truffle as well as the Savannah Truffle!! Both were equally delicious!! The truffles were super chocolatey and creamy!! We also tasted the spicy chocolate mango, which was tasty as well! I would stay away from the Bourbon Truffle if you're not a bourbon drinker!! It was not good to me AT ALL!! Other than that, I absolutely loved this quaint and cutely decorated chocolate shop!!

A gourmet chocolate shop in the middle of Thomasville, Georgia? Sign me up! We just barely made it to Sweet Cacao Chocolates one Friday evening after having dinner at Sweet Grass Dairy, which surprise, surprise, doesn't serve desserts. Gasp. Seeing as in our group we had one with the biggest sweet tooth known to mankind (I may be exaggerating here, but it's pretty big), he remembered seeing this store the weekend before when we had dined at Jonah's Fish and Grits. Needless to say, I Yelped and we made it with around fifteen minutes to spare before closing time. It looks like everyone and their mother had the same idea because the place was packed. We managed to order just in time as soon after, the man taking orders put the sign up for closed. They serve coffee, but we didn't partake, something that I will have to be back to try at another point. As for the desserts, what didn't they have? They had hand-painted chocolates, s'mores, cheesecake, even an entire display of to-go gifts. We purchased cheesecake, s'mores, and chocolate-covered almonds. Everyone was thrilled with their choices. Will say that the cheesecake is hearty, so it's best to share or to not inhale after dinner. We wound up leaving soon after, and one in our group forgot his sweater. The man from the counter went out to find us to return it. If that isn't being a good human being, I don't know what is. Will definitely return, especially as I have my eye on their s'mores kit, not to mention their hot cocoa mix for the holidays.

Stopped here during a visit with family and everything was so delicious! Truly impressed by everything, but especially the cannolis! I've had a bunch from other bakeries and even tried my hand at it, and these are by far the best i've ever had. We tried the goat cheese truffle, which was good, nothing crazy. And the italian crème horn, and pecan sticky bun. Both very delicious. The pastry itself is so good and fresh and buttery. A little pricey, but certainly worth the cost. $4 for one cannoli seemed a little much, but once i ate it, I bought two more lol. Very kind staff as well!

More: it's 4 stars for Tallahassee/ Thomasville, not like this is the best shop I have tried. I.like visiting Thomasville for an afternoon stroll and going to Liam's. I stumbled upon this store while parking my car. (It's right across the street from Liam's.) I have visited it a few times since the first discovery, and I like that a cute, indepeny store like this exists in a short driving distance from Tally! Things I have tried: * Chocolate croissant - pretty good. I don't know if they make the dough from scratch, but it's better than anything you find in Tallahassee..(not hard to do, but still ! ) * Cream filled horn - sometimes the buttercream gets a bit too salty and the shell might be a bit soggy..but I still like it. Flaky pasty she'll, butter cream, and chocolate drizzle - what's not to like?! Service is really nice and friendly. * Macarons - not the best texture or flavor, but again it's better than what you find in Tallahassee. * Espresso - Good, solid shots * Hot chocolate - good * Brownies - very dense..some varieties are a bit hard to chew. Great flavor. They also have 3-4 different kinds of cheese cakes. Ironically I haven't tried their chocolates as their creations are all in dome shape with some kind of coloring / filling. Next time I shall try at least one.

Cute little sweet shop in the heart of downtown. They have an assortment of truffles, cheesecakes, brownies, macaroons, and other desserts. They also seem to have gelato, sorbet, espresso and hot chocolate. I tried the turtle cheesecake and YUM! It was absolutely delicious. We also ordered the Pecan cheesecake and that one was just as amazing.

This place literally does not look like much. It is a nice, little cafe that serves sweets and desserts. What they have, though, is some of the best coffee and desserts I have ever had. My mother had the cappuccino and I had the latte. I also had a brownie as well. The brownie was so full of chocolate, but not so much that it was overwhelming. Definitely what I look for in a brownie. But the coffee. Literally the best coffee I have ever had in my life. I asked for a latte with a pump of vanilla. It was ready before I sat down. It was so creamy and rich, but it was still a coffee. I don't live in Thomasville, but I will definitely return here. Excellent service and even better food. And the price is cheaper than Starbucks! Can't wait to go again. Would add a 6th star if I could.

Delicious! I had the dark chocolate 85% and goat cheese truffles. They had a selection of truffles including habanero and pb&j. I also tried the mint macaroon which was different from most I've had in the past. This macaroon had a heavy crunch to it but it tasted good!

    Truffles all made in house!

The store is under an interior redesign as of early April 2025, but don't let that deter you. The donuts and pastries are as good as they have ever been. Staff are polite, friendly and personable. They go out of their way to help fill your order and will take their time to name every donut in the display case. My personal favorites include the apple fritter, cinnamon swirl roll, glazed twist, Chocolate glazed creme filled, the peach pie and the chocolate chip cookie sandwich. If you're in a hurry, don't forget to request an order of glazed donut holes! You can tell they're made fresh daily. They taste so crisp and melt in your mouth. I do recommend going on the early side. I tend to visit on Saturdays and you can tell they've been busy because the case has few options if you go after 10:30 am. My server immediately came to the table, brought me an unsweetened tea. I was torn between shrimp n grits or the Parmesan crusted black grouper. My said both were great. I chose the grouper. My entree arrived and it didn't disappoint. A large thick piece of grouper cooked perfectly surrounded by a crispy delicious crust. The Brussels sprouts were crispy and tender with a tasty sweet glaze. The greens were also on point - lots of bacon pieces and a sweet/spicy taste. Lunch came with a large crispy hush puppy. With tip - lunch was $50. A bit pricey - I don't mind paying top dollar for a top quality meal and service. Well done Jonah's!

Not really worth the wait. Decent food. Friendly staff. But nothing super special. For Thomasville, I get it, but I live in Pensacola where there is a place like this on every corner. I had the grouper sandwich (blackened) and the fried green tomatoes for a starter. The FGTs were very good. The sandwich was average except that the ciabatta bun was exceptional. Cheese grits on the side were above average. Brussels sprouts were just like any bistro Brussels sprouts ever (man, I wish this trend would die, but I keep ordering them hoping to be surprised.) The place was PACKED (as usual) but the staff were friendly and attentive. For me, however, this is expected in any restaurant. Therefore: 3 stars for decent - if unimaginative- food and good service. Will not come back unless there is no line ... albeit an unlikely scenario.

Got their version of BamBam Shrimp on a bed of greens.to start. Presentation was on a bed of chopped iceberg lettuce, no side plates were offered, and we used our single paper napkin to keep our silverware off the table and wipe our mouths. No linen napkins. I did surf n turf, medium well which most kitchens struggle with. No different here, cooked well all the way through. Baked potato was genuinely cool to the touch. Collard greens were excessively seasoned with vinegar. Not good at all. The presentation was shockingly bad, one side on my plate had a rim of black pepper, the other side had a rim of butter from the shrimp, that's my best guess. Shockingly bad. My wife ordered ribeye medium rare. The outer part was well done and the inside was very rare, cook temperature way too high. Baked potato cool to the touch again. From my seat the kitchen looked chaotic and undisciplined, no quality control at the pass at all, no floor manager present anywhere to be seen. Sometimes my view was blocked by employees clocking in to work. This table should be the last to be assigned period. Non culinary folks could find easy ways to improve this place, linen napkins, side plates, hot food, precision cooking etc. The lack of oversight for the food preparation and presentation of the food killed the experience for sure, no supervision or management of the kitchen and food.

It's quaint, charming, and has that small-town, heartwarming vibe that makes you want to linger over your coffee a little longer. I ordered the Homemade Hash and Eggs, and it was almost perfect. The portion is hearty, so much so that I couldn't even finish it. But here's the kicker: the dish had absolutely no seasoning. None. Not even a sprinkle of salt and pepper. As someone who loves bold flavors, I found that strange. Thankfully, they had salt and pepper on hand, so after a generous shake (okay, several generous shakes), it turned into exactly what I hoped for: hearty, satisfying, and delicious. The coffee was solid but mild. I'm a "give me an extra espresso shot" kind of girl, so I would have preferred something a bit bolder. They offer basic creamer and sugar options, but I didn't notice any flavored coffee or syrups, so if that's your thing, keep it in mind. If you're a simple coffee drinker, you'll be just fine. What really sets Savannah Moon apart, though, is the service. The girl who greeted and served me was friendly and super sweet, exactly what you'd hope for in a place like this.
