When he did, they had received a tag on their door that they had to pick up the flowers at the florist. WHAT"S THE POINT OF SENDING FLOWERS IF THEY AREN'T DELIVERED???? When I called FTD, they said that you tried to deliver them at 4pm and there was no one at home, and it wasn't safe to leave the flowers. How many households have 2 working adults and no one at home? I have had countless deliveries left at my door. Also, to say that it's not safe?? These houses are $400K + Who's going to take them? This was supposed to be a nice surprise for my daughter when she got home from work, instead she had to take time out of her day to pick them up herself. DO NOT DEPEND ON THIS FLORIST FOR DELIVERY

Hours later I received a phone call stating the flowers I ordered was not available and would substituted with a bouquet comparable in price. I requested a photo of the bouquet that was going to be delivered which they acknowledged they'd do. A few hours later, I asked them when the flowers would be delivered and when I would expect the picture and I was told it should be ready in about 20 min. I received no notification or photo and when I called back to get a status the shop was closed. We found out later in the evening from my father in law that the flowers were delivered. These flowers were for my mother in law who was recovering from a major surgery and it was also her birthday. The fact that I blindly spent $72 on flowers I did not see and received no notice of delivery is flat out ridiculous. Do not advertise flowers you do not have and follow through on your word. It's pretty surprising to see high ratings for a company with no regard!!! They don't even deserve a single star!

I think I am on a quest to visit all of the Piggly Wiggly stores in the South. I asked my cousin to…read morefind me some good sausage. We went to Valdosta, and he took me to this location. The employees greeted me as soon as I entered the store. I chose a handicap buggy because of my knee. We started off good with that alone. Not all stores have handicap buggies available. I decided to go to the right near the produce but before I could get there I noticed a hot bar loaded with some good food. I saw fish and chicken up there and an attendant, making sure it was clean. I continued to stroll through the store and found a section catering to Mexican food. Found some Camella Red Kidney Beans. I scooped those up because I can not find them in Atlanta. I then noticed an entire end cap of Badia seasoning. I love this brand. They had everything. Moving on to the meat section, they had all kinds of smoked sausage. I picked up a few brands to try. The meat department was helpful when I asked for smoke hamhocks. This store is truly a gem. I will return when I am in the area again. I want to also add the store smelled good, was clean and all of the aisles were in order.

And Publix takes 2 coupons on those 2 items). Yes, Publix takes a coupon against the "free" item. This sweetens the deal even more. Meat is high at the commissary, particularly the boneless rib eye and porterhouse steaks. It's the same price "on sale" at Publix. And Publix runs them on sale a lot. Hamburger meat is cheaper but only a great deal when it is about to expire at Moody, such as Sunday afternoon. I don't like the texture of the hamburger grind either; Publix grind is better. However, other meats can be good deals such as chicken or pork. Normally Publix cannot touch the commissary prices. Some produce can be a much better deal at the commissary. The deli is no deal on sliced meats and cheeses---go to Publix, much cheaper and great sales too. This is why you won't see people waiting at the commissary deli. Strangely, some jar pickled items are cheaper everyday at Publix. Such as jarred pickled okra. It's 10% higher at Moody. I just don't understand that since items at Moody are sold "near cost". Is the Dallas TX buyer paying too much for that item? Tent sales during the holidays are a must attend. Most tent sale items are limited quantities available from manufactures and worth the trip to Moody. Arrive on the first day of the sale to ensure the items are not sold out. Any item "on sale" at the commissary is usually a good deal. I try to primarily shop the sales. Normal everyday prices on all McCormick spices are about half the price of Publix. Most commissary items are Name brands and cannot compete with store brands (prices) such as Wal-Mart or Publix.
