I have the highest marks to give Set in Stone in Valdosta! From sales with Stephanie and Brook, to coordination with my custom cabinet builder, to holding my slab of granite for several months while we waited on cabinet installation, Set in Stone showed the utmost care and professionalism. I was unsure of what kind of countertops and sink to get and Set in Stone's staff helped me pick out the perfect set up to coordinate with the style and function of my home. They were patient and very helpful. Once it was time for the countertops to be installed, I had the best communication with the fabricators about every aspect of that process, including to seal or not to seal, how to seal, and how often to seal. I was so COMPLETELY comfortable with this business that I was not even home when they installed my countertops. When I got home, everything was magically perfect, as well as clean and ready to use, except for the sink. The plumber had also coordinated with Set in Stone and came the very next morning! A seamless process, just like my stunning countertops! I was able to work with a Set in Stone employee to help me pick out my back splash tile for the last leg of the experience. I am so utterly thrilled with my new kitchen! The ENTIRE crew at Set in Stone, from Troy in fabrication who is OUTSTANDING and PROFESSIONAL and who takes GREAT PRIDE in a job well done, to everyone up front, this has been such an easy and stress free remodel! Five stars! We shopped around and ultimately settled on Set in Stone for our granite countertops. By far, they were the most helpful and welcoming, from the moment we got out of our vehicle. Even the delivery/set-up guys were a joy to work with. Every place we shopped told us our kitchen island was too large to have a seamless countertop. Set in Stone told us they might could do it seamless, but we were doubtful because everyone else told us the same thing. However, they called us when they were cutting our stone and told us they could in fact do the island without a seam. They wanted to know if we preferred to not have a seam. This really spoke volumes of their customer service because I'm certain it was much harder to load, unload, and install a huge piece of stone rather than two smaller pieces. I cannot day enough great things about Set in Stone! read more

First of all, the installation of the granite countertops was fantastic. They are exactly what my wife and I were expecting. The reason I only gave this a 3 star review is that when we paid for the removal of the old countertops, which included replacing the sink and of course disconnecting and removing the stove, we thought surely they will put everything back the way it was. Maybe we should've asked more details, but we just expected that they would've at least hooked the stove back up, since they obviously knew how to disconnect it. Same with the sink. I guess we are just disappointed that everything was not put back in the same working order. We do understand that your installers are not certified electricians or plumbers, we just figured if they unhooked it, they would hook it back up. Guess we will ask more questions next time. Installers r currently in my home and I've indicated edge design is not what I selected. Installer called shop but no resolution was offered. Paperwork reads waterfall edge versus "Tripple waterfall" so the fault is obviously mine for not knowing different design verbiage. Live and learn, but will not use them again. Terrible experience and unethical business practices! Buyer beware, they did not include backsplash measurements in the estimate (I don't think this was a mistake...it think it was intended to make the cost appear lower initially), so when we went to order from them, several feet were added to the cost. We decided not to use them because of this and because they couldn't compete with another local company's price (and because of how rude the owner was while trying to undercut the other company's estimate). When we told them we wouldn't be using them, they charged us $150 for measuring our countertops, even though their website claims measurements are free. I've never been so disappointed in a company! read more

Paid to have the counters put in and backsplash. Took a month and a half, couldn't get in touch couldn't get in touch, and then ran off with the last half of the money and a half finished job. They couldn't even send someone else to finish the mans job. Will be reporting to the BBB as now we have to shell out more money for another person to finish the job. Thanks.
