He apologized for the delay in our food arriving - we hadn't even noticed - and shared it was being plated as we spoke. Two minutes later he delivered it to our table. The second round of drinks too too long and he again delivered the drinks w another apology. Jim was attentive and professional. The short rib risotto was just plain amazing as were all the other items delivered. I had the risotto so I can rave about that. The experience was great and what made it great for us was the attention paid to us by the manager and the server. We never felt forgotten. We highly recommend. We were on the outside patio , our Chihuahuas were contained in their carriers, and the only time one of them barked was when the waiter came by. We were there early at 11:30. For 15 minutes we were the only ones out there , then this elderly couple came and when they walked by us the elderly woman gave us a dirty look. Five minutes later another couple sat but further away from us. That woman seemed to be the only one with a problem. I should have asked the manager that if someone had complained about a screaming child( which usually is constant) would they have been asked to leave? I really like the food , and the service but we are contemplating whether to go there again because frankly we felt insulted! We only brought the dogs to begin with because my daughter is going on a trip and she is leaving the dogs with us. So we were exchanging them, and thought we would have lunch. The manager and the elderly couple ruined the experience for us. The manager told us that pets were not permitted but I checked in two different places , and pets are permitted on their patio. I feel they should either change their policy , or inform the manager as to what the policy is because she told us that pets were not allowed! Next time we will meet somewhere in St. Petersburg because that city is very pet friendly!

What impressed me with it is that it wasn't overly large like salads tend to be at other places, and had a great variety of ingredients including shaved gruyere. My steak was cooked PERFECTLY (I went with medium rare). The portion size was PERFECT and I could see myself eating this on a normal lunch day. And of course, I've saved THE BEST for last. The major reason why I came. Their signature namesake dish. WHISKEY CAKE. I was pretty fully at the end of the dinner, so I got it to-go. They were very good and if you're looking for some good one...try this location. Prices here are reasonable. But take note of the menu...all drinks are 2-for-1! I didn't notice that until after I'd ordered a large beer. But I didn't let the second one go to waste. Ha!
