We came here right when they opened and was seated immediately. The place was clean and kept. Our server was friendly and very attentive- as we were maybe the other two people in the restaurant haha. We ordered the chilaquiles and the Santorini sunrise- both delicious and tasted great/ would get the chilaquiles again and the Santorini bowl came with plenty of protein. read more

I normally really like this place?m, but it was just not great yesterday. My server did a good job, the chicken Sausage was cold and awful, so I swapped for bacon -which came with hair on it"-hello, kitchen staff? Hair nets, anyone?! I asked for my toast to be dry, it came with slathered butter on it, which the butter there doesn't even melt into the toast-it's probably margarine ?! Gross. My daughter's avocado toast has been cut down to 1/2 of what it used to be for more $? Hmmm. Overall, I think I'll just stay home for breakfast I didn't complain, but I think the server just knew it was a less than desirable outing. The server did give me a card to hand in to the staff where you pay at the end for a bogo, which was nice, but honestly I would have much rather pay in full and had a seamless outing with my daughter. Ambiance was fine, it was slow/steady and breakfast is a pretty hard meal to screw up, but....??? Parking lot wasn't full because it was early, but it can get busy in late morning! read more

I'm definitely a fan of First Watch. I usually go to this location during the week in the morning, so I typically never have to wait but they always seem busy. Everyone is always friendly and the restaurant always looks very clean inside. I love the different juice mixes like Morning Meditation & Fuji Apple Fizz. The pancakes are always my go to for breakfast. Love the Pumpkin pancake breakfast, lemon ricotta and chocolate chip options. read more

why are their breakfast potatoes so salty??? Eggs overdone as well. I asked for over medium and got HARD.

This was our second visit at a First Watch and it did not disappoint. I do have to say service was just as phenomenal as the location in Jupiter. The menu had seasonal items and the prices were actually much cheaper than Jupiter's locations. It was $57 for 3 dishes and 2 coffees. I recommend the carne asada tacos and salmon frittata. Both dishes were delectable. I don't recommend the beans that comes with the tacos. I should've subbed them for the potatoes. Ooh and the pickled onions were so tasty I requested another ramekin of them. ***Edited*** So we went to the location in Lake Mary and we were told that this location is actually a test location where they introduce new items to see how they fair. The only reason we found this out was because I wanted to order the Carne Asada tacos but they did not have it at Lake Mary. The manager there informed us that this location is a year ahead and tries out new menu items to see how they will do. How cool is that!?!? read more

Made reservations for a party of 15 on a saturday afternoon, it wasn't too busy inside, our waitress was very friendly & attentive to our big party. Friendly workers when you walk in, get seated & wait to get served. It's located in a shopping plaza, so parking is No Bueno, because it's super duper packed & hard to find a parking, so if u find one, u need to park OR you'll have to drive around & find a spot, on the street. Pricing on the food, was not too bad for what you pay for, it's worth the $ Will definitely be visiting again, if that's in the area. read more

Stopped in for breakfast with no reservation and were sat immediately on a Sunday morning. Our server went through the seasonal menu and answered any questions we had. The power wrap was delicious and filling. The pancake came with warm syrup, which was amazing. I would recommend trying the health juices, as those were tasty as well. read more

We have been to First Watch many times before and in different states. Their food is always consistently good. Today we didn't have too much to wait. We checked in before we arrived and it said it was a 20 minute wait when we arrived we checked in again and they said we still had a 20-25 min wait. We asked to sit bar seating and we were seated right away. We ordered our usual TriFecta with a Belgian Waffle. My husband's waffle was not cooked enough and not crispy at all so he sent it back and they happily made him a new plate. My waffle was cooked well however everything in my plate was cold already. All in all I've had better experiences at First Watch. Our waitress was very nice, helpful and quick to serve. read more

The food was decent, and the restaurant was clean and friendly. However, it was overpriced for the portions we'd received. Additionally, it was a long wait before getting our food - for a party of three - in a nearly empty restaurant. read more

Came in on a rainy day. This was my first time at this chain restaurant. We were seated at a booth that had food crumbs on the seats. Our server was kind. We ordered the chimichurri steak with no feta cheese, and a side of pancakes with eggs and bacon. It took about 25-30 minutes for our food to come out. The chimichurri steak was delivered with feta, so I had to send it back. The server looked at me like I was the one who made the mistake. Another 25-30 minutes go by, and my food finally delivers. By then we lost our appetite and asked for the check. When I went to go pay at the front, the girl at the cashier didn't say anything to me and took the receipt out of my hand, had the card machine light up and left her station to go flirt with her employee. Microwaved our food at home and the dish was way too salty. read more

I absolutely love the food at First Watch--everything is always so delicious! The atmosphere feels so warm and homey, which makes it even better. The staff is always super friendly and welcoming. I waited 20 minute by my self and there was an empty table with a chair and I told the manager about it and he answered very rude that there were people ahead of me and I asked him if they were single people and said yes. Well 20 minutes later I ended up sitting on the table I asked‍. Then I asked for biscuit with gravy from the menu and the biscuit was dried out and burnt. I told the manager about it and said that they are suppose to be that way‍ read more

Nothing was warm an I don't understand as I placed my order in the car outside the restaurant and picked up at the time order was said to be ready. First time I ever left potatoes on my plate. This location was not busy at all. Maybe 6 tables total with three servers. We were seated fast by the very nice, kind hostess. Then it kind of went downhill from there. We were sitting at the table for over 8 minutes waiting on our server. A table was sat after us on the booth side and they ordered their drinks and food before us. The manager on duty was also walking the floor but never acknowledged to the waitress in our area that we were here. He (the manager) was more focused on another employee doing their chalk board I guess? After the 8 minutes had passed by, our waitress finally arrived. She apologized and told us that no one had informed her that she had a new table in her section. We put our drink and food order in. I ordered the "traditional breakfast". . Chicken sausage patties were okay. The flavor was weak but the size was good. . The toast was more on the burnt side. . The eggs (scrambled) was more of an omelet patty. It also had a few onions in it. Thankfully I am not allergic but could have been bad for someone with an allergy. . The potatoes... the smaller pieces were cooked through while the bigger ones (which were the majority of the portion) were basically raw. I do not think breakfast potatoes should be raw, correct? The onions cooked with them were burnt to a crisp. Unfortunately this place is a spot we would not recommend or come back too. read more

Great casual breakfast spot. It was busy but the staff was hustling to get people seated and served quickly. Our server was wonderful, attentive, and had great recommendations. From the seasonal menu we started with the cinnamon roll topped with lemon glaze and gold. For my main dish I had the elevated egg sandwich which was delicious and filling. It came with a side of potatoes that were nice and crispy. The menu is pretty big so definitely something for everyone. read more

I usually love first watch so decided to stop at this one during a recent trip. Even though it was busy, the wait wasn't too long. However, the place was pretty small. I felt like we were sitting on top of the table next to us. People kept bumping into my chair when I was eating (guests and staff). My eggs Benedict was not great. Usually I like them runny and flavorful and this one was so cooked, the yolk was hard. I barely ate it. Wasn't a great experience overall. read more

My "go to" for a great breakfast and outstanding Service. Rebecca was our amazing server. First time to this location in Tampa.

First Watch is always a solid choice for breakfast or brunch. The service is friendly, the food is consistently delicious across all the locations and it's priced decent. There are to many good menu choices. I pair whatever I get with the dressed greens. Something about that simple dressing is soooo good. The lemon ricotta pancakes are my go to, Bacado is a close second with the avacado toast. The only and I mean only downside is that you can't do a boozy brunch here as they don't have alcohol. Also, do yourself a favor and try the million dollar bacon. read more

It's a fine place for a reasonably healthful brunch, but there's nothing extraordinary here. First Watch is a chain of breakfast-lunch restaurants that serves traditional, American breakfasts as well as some healthier items. I ordered a decaf coffee and the chile chorizo omelet. I was told that they were out of decaf and more was being brewed. The waitress poured me the last of the decaf (one-third of a cup of lukewarm coffee) and said she'd bring me the fresh coffee when it was done. They must have been brewing a tankard truck of coffee as I did not get more coffee until I had finished my meal. I was not offered water or regular coffee while I was waiting. So I was very thirsty as I didn't really care to linger to drink my coffee after I ate my food. I liked the different sweetener choices for my coffee but was disappointed that First Watch uses those International House disposible creamers and that most of the creamers in the bowl were flavored. Yuck. How about a tiny pitcher of milk or cream instead? The chile chorizo omelet was okay. Props to them for making it feel healthful with a very non-greasy omelet and salad as the side. But that definitely was not chorizo (not that I think authentic non-greasy chorizo exists). Dousing the omelet with hot sauce helped, but as I was without a drink for most of my meal, all that salt made me miserable. The side salad was very good as was the whole grain toast. I don't know if I'll return. The service wasn't great, and the food wasn't that special. There are better places to get breakfast in South Tampa for a comparable price. read more

First Watch used to be our favorite breakfast/lunch place and we decided to go the day after Gasparilla. We would have waited over 90 minutes, however we checked in using yelp and by the time we arrived, we waited 2 minutes after checking in with the hostess. It was a lifesaver. It was packed and we waited about 40 minutes for our food, however it was worth the wait because everything was delicious. In the future we will definitely use the check in function because it's a deterrent to have to wait so long when we are hungry. With so many places to chose from for brunch, we can usually find a place with less of a wait. I will say the maple caramelized bacon is the best thing I have ever had. Fatty, salty, sweet heaven on a plate. We order it every time. My Tri-athelete was really flavorful and fresh for being so healthy. It was light and left me feeling full. I couldn't even finish the egg whites omelet. read more

My waiter, Kyle, was super cool and really great at helping me decipher between the Chile Chorizo and the Salmon Frittata. By the picture selection below you can see that I chose the Chile Chorizo. Okay so I've never had NON GREASY CHORIZO. I'm from Texas so all my experiences with Chorizo have been greasy and spicy. Here it was clean and mild in spice which was still fine. The palate layers were evident. The fresh greens salad was a great addition. Not sure if the second silver container was jam or not. I ate it with the greens anyway. I asked for a water that I never got. But I can't wait to come back read more

If you're looking for a good brunch place keep looking, this isn't it. Either that or we must have visited on an off day because we were both very disappointed in our meals. I ordered smoked salmon eggs Benedict (sauce on the side) & didn't want the biscuit / bread so I requested that it come on a slice of tomato. The tomato was soggy (only 1 slice was good) and the poached egg was a catastrophe. I honestly can't believe they had the audacity to serve unapologetically at a restaurant- I would be embarrassed. I mean check the photo out for yourself. It was basically a yellow ball that was overcooked and missing the majority of the egg whites.I also asked for a side of avocado, yes there's an upcharge if you're wondering. Im on with the upcharge. What I'm not ok with is that it came half brown. I would have preferred they say they didn't have any fresh avocados. Evidently, they aren't big on quality here. As a side note, they have cold pressed OJ so that's a plus. What they don't have is lattes and such...just your typical American coffee. If you're looking for an underwhelming experience that will leave you hungry, stop by. read more

A very nice looking restaurant inside with lots of wood accents and cool looking murals. However, the service at the front check in station is lacking as well as the kitchen. Prior to getting to the place, we checked in using the Yelp app, and when there were only two tables in front of us, I went up to the front counter and told her We were in the place and waiting. We waited, and waited, and waited while many other were seated. 20 minutes later I had to go up to her again and she said already she called me. No she didn't, as we were both sitting right in front of her desk the whole time. Once seated we told the server we were in a rush. She said the kitchen is presently serving meals no earlier than 25 minutes. So again, we wait, and wait, and wait. We finally get our Bacado and The Works omelettes and they both are room temperature. They need to really improve the service here. read more

I myself am gluten free (Celiac) and they have always gotten my breakfast orders correct. I love their omelettes and potatoes and that is usually my "go to" and it is always consistent. Been here many times before and never a bad meal. Service was amazing! Not so much for the food. I ordered the pancakes with blueberries and a side of sausage. When the food arrived my plate looked like it had been scooped up off of the floor. Pancakes dry and falling apart. Sausage was floating in black grease. I actually had to use a whole napkin to soak it up. Let our server know and she did apologize. Not her fault. She said she told the Manager whom we expected would make a stop at our table, but nope. Food, service and price are wonderful except for the price of coffee. $3.99 for a pot of coffee when some of us only want a cup. First Watch is my favorite breakfast place (in Tampa and anywhere else), they have the best options for groups. Great healthy & not so healthy picks, and something for everyone! They just rolled out the Fall menu and I was super excited to try. The pumpkin pancakes did not disappoint. If you like pumpkin, they are a must try. I get a single pancake, it is $5 versus $12 for the meal. The Million Dollar Bacon, Healthy Turkey, Elevated Egg Sandwich and the Avocado Toast (the only store bought one worth spending $10 on) are my favorites. My boyfriend swears by the Chickichanga. I always opt for this location over downtown one - more parking and usually less wait time, even on Saturdays and Sundays. Both locations in Tampa seem to have longer waits for food than any of the other ones I have been to, nonetheless still amazing and worth every minute of waiting. read more
