There were two tables of people and the waiters were so overwhelmed they were rude to everyone beyond what you expect at a Waffle House.

Ordered breakfast to go. They charge $2.50 per breakfast for take out. I get it... take out orders require 75 cents of plastic food storage. But for the $5 for two to-go orders you get the following: No breakfast meat that was supposed to be included Toast instead of the biscuits we ordered No syrup for waffles. Plus you can't call the restaurant to tell them you are coming back. The message says they won't talk to you and you have to goto the restaurant to re-order your stuff then wait. read more

The food was really good. Especially the bacon, waffles and coffee! The service was great too, thank you to the blue hair lady that helped us and the other lady that greeted us nicely. Awful service. We waited for 20 minutes standing until they cleared a table then sat at the table for 40 minutes watching the wait staff talk and laugh with other customers and ignore us completely. They looked over several times and were fully aware our order had not been taken. They took orders and served food to several groups that came in well after us. We also watched them yell at a group for trying to help clear up some plates, saying they would not be served if they sat there. Overall terrible attitudes on top of the service. I realize it was 11 o clock and they had a good bit to deal with, but this has been a consistent issue here. read more

Typical Waffle House, solid food, quick, cheap. This one was a bit cleaner than most others I've been to.

We just left this Waffle House in Spring Hill. The food was spot on, as always, but was I want to brag on was the the staff. I witnessed not just the normal table wipe downs, but each salt & pepper shaker, the napkin holder, every inch of anything a customer could have touched. We also had a new waiter and he did a great job, he had been well trained to be on the job only one week. Waffle House has been preparing for COVID-19 by wearing mask, social distancing & disinfecting. 5 stars! read more

I'm leaving my previous review just for the simple fact that it's completely different than this one! I had heard that there was new management at Waffle House so we decided to try it again. WE WERE NOT DISAPPOINTED!!! The place was spotless, service was fast, food was hot and came out at the same time! I am so glad we have a great breakfast place to go to! (Or late night meal) Previous review: We came in for a late night meal after a busy day...my meal was brought out in sections (first the waffle, 5 mins later my sausage...) and I was done eating before my husband ever received his meal. His hashbrowns were still cold and completely uncooked. We sat at the bar, that we had to push dirty plates over ourselves to make room that were never bused the entire meal. 2 families left after being told that it "would be awhile" before they could clean tables for them to sit. The servers stood behind the counter, not doing anything, while every table and bar was filthy. One server walked past the grill and prep area swinging a dirty towel around (but not cleaning anything). It's a shame because we love having a little restaurant to go when everything else is closed. read more

You do not expect good service from waffle house because it's waffle house, but i have never had someone treat me so badly. My girl friend and I went in to waffle house around 12:45 am and we needed to use the restroom before eating and went into the restroom together. When we came out to sit down, one of the night shift workers got very hostile, leaned over the counter, and said "why do you need to piss together, that's weird. do you need to wipe eachothers "c**chie lips" which is ironic as she was wearing a pride hat. we then had to leave the restaurant because we did not feel comfortable eating there after our rude encounter. read more

A nice Waffle House as things go, but not the friendliest. Grill workers are pretty oblivious of what's going on around them. Other Waffle Houses I've visited have more of a community feel, which is part of the appeal. It took a while to get my food and my waitress was somewhat lackadaisical and again, not that friendly. Let me start by saying that we had a good experience here 2 weeks ago and that's why we went back. This time, however, we went in and waited to place a to go order at the counter. There were no visible employees, a table of teenagers and a couple drinking coffee. Finally, an employee came out, poured a glass of milk and began talking and cutting up with the teenagers. We were not acknowledged. Then another employee came out and joined the cutting up while vaping behind the counter. We did not want these people cooking our food, really, but we wanted to eat here. Finally, a girl that actually looked like a presentable employee, (the other two were complete slobs) came from the back. Without missing a beat, she walked right by us, like we weren't even there, cleared a table in the roped off area and then joined the "party." We stood at the cash register for 7-10 minutes and were never even acknowledged by 1 of the 3 employees. As we left, they all watched us, one still vaping and not one said a word. I always enjoyed going to the Franklin Waffle House, so I was excited when they opened one in Spring Hill. However, the WH in Franklin has this place beaten hands down. The food portions are smaller than in other WH restaurants, and even when it is not busy, you will wait too long to be acknowledged by the servers, have your order taken, etc. I wish I had something nicer to say, but this was my third (and final time) coming here. On a more positive note, the place is very clean since it has only been open a few months. I think there's potential here, but the staff could use some extra customer service training. read more

Waffle House was my place to go at 3 in the morning for breakfast after an all nighter. Fast forward ten years and I still enjoy going to Waffle House at any time of the day. We went here just recently after the snow storm hit and enjoyed a breakfast sandwich and hash browns. The waitress was great, quickly serving us our drinks and taking our order. The cook wore a ton of buttons (flair) in his hat and was going to tables telling jokes; having fun while completing orders fast and efficiently. The food is what you'd expect from Waffle House, nothing special however this place is consistent and doesn't change no matter what time of the day or week you dine there. You come here for the experience or because no matter what, that yellow Waffle House sign stays on 24 / 7 rain, sleet or snow. If you expect gourmet food, look elsewhere. If you expect odd characters, comfort food and a good laugh, come one come all. read more

This was the worst Waffle House I have ever been too. They completely did not care what they were giving me. I ordered Togo and watched my food sit for about 15 min just to get my order completely wrong. I asked for simple things like no butter and they put butter on my toast and eggs and someone my waffle Togo! I will never be back. They had 8 people doing nothing in the back. I went to Casa De waffle last night, there were only 2 people working, the cashier/waitress-Angie and the cook. The place was pretty full at midnight. Angie is super nice and professional, let us know there were only the 2 of them and it was going to take time to get to us (great communication). She and the cook had a great system going and plowed through all the orders like clockwork. I think it's a shame that Waffle House hasn't done more to fix this situation. Angie and the cook are a great team and best I've seen in a while. If you go there, be patient and show your appreciation! The food was hot and tasty. read more

I have crossed the threshold of many a Waffle House in my day and I do realize that this comment has the chance of hyperbole, but I am willing to risk that chance to offer nothing but pure truth. From the time I worked in Spring Hill from 2017 until 2021, this place has been a constant reminder of why I love diner food. The two people that you can thank for that are Frank and Sandra who are two staples that every waffle house in this country should have. Frank remembers everything and cooks so efficiently that I think he needs to instruct assembly lines across this planet. What I love about Frank is that he is personable, fun to be around, and just a joy to watch work. He cleans everything including underneath the refrigerators, griddle's, and everything else. He also helps all the new folks to call the orders by teaching them to understand the procedures in place. Sandra also takes care of me and knows what I like to drink and then talks to me while she's cleaning dishes, or doing other task. There's no weird feeling with this waffle house, as everything is clean, and efficient. I miss this place as I now work in Springfield and that Waffle House is not so good. read more

A little strange being an actual clean restaurant but they just opened so give em some time to dirty her up like the WH's we know and love around the country. The employees there are friendly. The breakfast menu is very good. We've been there several times for breakfast and I've always left there satisfied. THE COFFEE HOWVER SHOULD BE A LITTLE STRONGER! They keep the coffee cups full while eating which is a good thing. The crew does an excellent job keeping up with the crowds.
