The texture was dense, dry, and crumbly--more like cornbread than the soft, fluffy, melt-in-your-mouth pancakes I was expecting. They lacked the moist, buttery richness I personally look for in a great pancake. To be fair, that may be their intended style, but it wasn't what I had hoped for. The staff was accommodating, and I exchanged the pancakes for scrambled eggs, turkey sausage, and seasoned potatoes. That plate was much more enjoyable. The eggs were fluffy, the potatoes were nicely seasoned with a good crisp on the outside, and the turkey sausage was a solid choice. I also sampled the Turkey Sausage Biscuits & Gravy. The dish was comforting and satisfying, but it could have benefited from a little more seasoning. A touch more sage in the sausage would have added the savory depth that makes biscuits and gravy truly memorable. One of the highlights of the meal was the fresh juice selection. The Morning Meditation was refreshing with a bright blend of orange, lemon, turmeric, ginger, beet, and agave. The lavender drink was equally delicious, light, floral, and refreshing without being overpowering. If you're visiting First Watch, I highly recommend trying one of their fresh juices. Overall, while the Lemon Ricotta Pancakes missed the mark for me, the fresh juices, eggs, potatoes, and turkey sausage made for a pleasant brunch experience. I'd gladly return and explore more of their savory breakfast offerings.

We ordered and our food looked very scrumptious when it was brought to the table. We did have a few issues however, actually questions mostly. Number 1, the overeats air ducts cooled off our food very quickly. Number 2, what is the deal with baked potatoes? They aren't available until after 4pm. I know for a fact you can cook a baked potato anytime of the day...the potato doesn't care. Number 3, I looked above my head just over our booth and the pendant light had quite a few cobwebs coating it. Overall, it w as a great meal and loved the inside decor and the service. This place will surprise you with the interior space (beautifully decorated) plus the outside seating which is also pet friendly. I went upstairs and sat at the bar where I met Kate...she is a non-stop dynamo behind the bar with a fun personality. The two dishes I enjoyed were specials for the evening and may not be available when you visit. My appetizer...black mussels in an elegant cream sauce...this dish blew me away. Make sure you dip the bread in the sauce, it was so good I was tempted to order another helping. For dinner the fried Grouper over a bed of gnocchi and a drizzle of aioli was incredible. The breading was light, the fish was perfectly cooked, and the combination of flavors was very well done. While I am not a fan of the texture of gnocchi...this was really good with the cream sauce. I came in with my family, and other customers began complaining about the noise my 1-year-old baby was making. As a mother, I was already feeling incredibly anxious and was actively trying my best to console my crying child.Instead of showing any empathy, the staff made the situation infinitely worse. They actively participated in making me feel unwelcome, leaving me drowning in embarrassment and shame just for trying to navigate a normal toddler moment. The ultimate insult came just minutes later: after making us feel like a burden for making noise, the exact same staff came out blasting and screaming at the top of their lungs to sing a happy birthday song. The blatant hypocrisy was staggering--our baby's distress was an issue, but their own disruptive noise was perfectly fine.Despite the horrible treatment, I still left a $10 tip, which was far more than their hostile attitude deserved. I left the establishment feeling deeply hurt, small, and judged. No parent should ever be made to feel guilty for existing in public with their children. Families with young kids, please stay away from this unwelcoming place. 0 STARS IF YOU HAVE CHILDREN!

They didn't have much waiting room at all. The place was not packed to the brim with several empty seats. I then waited in excess of 10 minutes, and still no one showed up. Not even an acknowledgment or anyone. Wait staff seemed to be missing completely. Some thoughts I had were "well there has to be wait staff because all these people have their food" but still I waited. It is a family owned and operated restaurant serving an authentic and traditional Mediterranean style family spread meant for sharing. The staff are very friendly and one of the owners was giving us our check after we were done eating and actually started a conversation with us and told us that one of the things they are known for is Hospitality. Everyone was so nice and it just complimented the delicious food. My wife and myself got the Family size Tashtea Breakfast for 2. It was definitely enough food for 2.
